Guillaume de Chassy comes out a new album with a rare instrumentation for a minimalist conception of improvised music. He favors beauty of sound, sober expression and art of silence. The three musicians share the same culture of jazz and classical music. They have freedom and interaction from jazz. They develop refinement of nuances and timbres. Together the trio explores Guillaume de Chassys writing or covers Poulenc or Porkofiev themes. This project was welcomed and recorded in Abbaye de Noirlac (Cher), a place where acoustics takes a part in this particular project.

Fred Hersch heard Nico Gori for the first time in North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland in 2010. From the very beginning, Fred Hersch was immediately drawn to Nico clarinet sound. He offered him to play together, in Europe and in New-York. Quickly, the duo is born. The choice of duo was essential: an intimist dialogue between the two musicians in which each of us gives the best of himself, giving an important place to improvisation. We recorded this CD in one afternoon at the studio of the remarkable engineer Stefano Amerio in Udine (Italy). We have performed since the recording and the music continues to get deeper and richer. I look forward to playing with Nico for many years to come he is a real master of the clarinet and we have a great time playing music together - Fred Hersch Its a great privilege for me, a huge honor and an important confirmation that I can now share with Fred many wonderful musical moments and a deep friendship - Nico Gori

Jerome Sabbaghs new project, Plugged In comes from an unreleased collaboration with Jozef Dumoulin. He brings an electric and electronic color into the saxophonist universe. Jerome Sabbagh and Jozef Dumoulin are accompanied by bassist Patrice Blanchard (who played with David Fiuczynski, DJ Logic, Steve Coleman, Josh Roseman, Amy Winehouse) and drummer Rudy Royston (who played with Bill Frisell, J.D. Allen, Steve Cardenas, David Gilmore). The repertoire is formed mainly of Sabbagh and Dumoulins compositions. I like Jozefs touch et his unique keyboard sound. I have known Patrice for several years; he has a wonderful groove with his bass. Every times I hear Rudy; it makes me want to play with him. I am very enthusiastic about this new band Jerome Sabbagh

Gabriel Zufferey sees this piano solo like an open letter, a reflection on his world and the others world. He presents with music the initiation way he follows toward his fulfillment and more: encounter with others, the more genuine, free and committed expression, understanding and overcoming prejudices and faults. To record this album, Gabriel Zufferey was alone in mountains at an altitude of 1 700 m. His look absorbed by peaks, he could express meditation and contemplation on his ten years career. Surrounded with Pierre Andr and Etienne for technique, Gabriel Zufferey extracted in four days the state of mind of this singular place.
