Dear Students,
* As per the Regulations of Kamataka State Law University, Bar Council of India
and Kristu Jayanti College of Law, All the students of 5 Year B.A., LL.B/ B.Com.
LL.B/ BB.A.LL.B course, shall take up Intemship during their semester breaks.
Students shall start their internship immediately after the conclusion of the
Semester Examination and shall continue till reopening of the college in the offline
mode.
© The Students entering Second Semester shall take up Internship under:
District Legal Sei Authority of any State. (For more details see
kslsa.kar.nic.in, kelsa.nic.in, apslsa.ap.nic.in), Consumer Forum (i.e., DCDRC,
SCDRC, NCDRC), or NGO (Students are expected to understand formation and
functioning of NGOs).
© The Students entering Fourth, Sixth, Fighth and Tenth Semester shall take
up Internship under:
© Court Internships: Trial Court, District Court, High Court, or Supreme
Court under the guidance of an Advocate.
OR
© Advocate Chamber, Law Firms, Judiciary, Local Self Government,
Legal Regulatory Authorities (jc. IRDA, TRAI, SEBI, etc), Public
Sector Undertakings (ie. HPCL, ONGC etc.), Other Legal
Funetionaries, (i, SHRC, NHRC, etc), Legal Department of any
Corporate Company, Banks, Insurance Companies, etc.
© Maintaining of Internship Diary:
© The Students are required to maintain a “Daily Internship Diary” in the
prescribed format. See Annexure A for Internship Guidelines and Format.
‘© All the Students are required to mail a scanned copy of their Intemship
Diary Report and Court Observation Diary Report on a daily basis to the
concerned Faculty In-charge. See Annexure B for Faculty In-charge.
