Air Top 5000: Automatic boost level at temperature below 5 C Air Top 5000: Optional external control of the boost level Low, comfortable operating noise level, low current consumption, infinitely variable heating power
External installation possible in protected areas, fresh air intake possible, optional continuously adjustable ventilation possible via operator control
Modulating Burner
Webasto heaters have a Variable Heat Output from the maximum heat output down to the minimum output resulting in comfortable economic heat levels in relation to ambient temperatures.
Step-less power modulation This results in a stable internal temperature and the absence of disturbing sudden noise increase

Ceramic Glowpin
Webasto have used this state of the art technology for a number of years.
As you can see from the diagram below, the ceramic glowpin is significantly smaller in size. Th heating element is straight and smooth in design, unlike the bulky winding element of th glowplug, still used by other heater manufacturers today. The main benefits of using the ceramic glowpin are: Reduced Battery Power Draw Increased Reliability
In the Airtop 3500 and the Airtop 5000 models, the glowpin also incorporates a flame detector, thus reducing component parts and stocking levels.
Ferrotec Burner Fleece, which has replaced the old cloth matting fleece. This concept uses metal to assist in achieving longer life. A Self Diagnostic Blink Code is built into the on/off switch, providing quicker fault diagnosis in the event of heater failure, therefore reducing vehicle down time. Our heaters do not lock out or require specialist diagnostic equipment. Low Noise Output Integral Control Unit, using less wiring, thus reducing the risk of loose or corroded connections. Self Reset Overheat Switch
