of (omitted) (Date and month omitter), 2011 The Vice Chancellor Dr.Peerzada Qasim University of Karachi University Road Karachi-75270 Respected Sir, Subject: Pre assessment appeal for the conduction of fair marks assessment as well as post reply of the letter vide reference : EXAM / CE / 2011 / 667 of dated October 8, 2011 received from the office of controller of examination, examination department, university of Karachi With due respect and reverence, I Syed Muhammad Modassar Shahid S/o. syed shahid iqbal, presently student of Bachelors of Arts Part-II, having Passed all the Papers of Bachelors of Arts Part-I as a External Candidate from the University of Karachi, do appeal preliminarily, you and the concerned authorities on oath that kindly observe save the educational future of mine and do take action and let me visualize the true and factual picture of the mark assessment of the copies/scripts that I have stained for getting high marks in the relevant papers of Bachelors of Arts Part-I (External) examinations of the year 2010 having Enrolment No 2404/2009 & Seat No.10469. Before coming towards the topic, I feel this graciously important to note down the introduction as well as the educational expertise of mine as permeable of this final plea: My name is Syed Muhammad Modassar Shahid, aged about 20 years, have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in the faculty of Science from the Board of Secondary Education Karachi and secured 88.11% and stood at A-1 grade in the year 2007, than I too have passed High School Certificate examination (HSC/FSc.) from the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi with A grade and 72.27%. Then after passing the intermediate level examinations I too then have passed the entire note worth aptitude test of trust worthy educational institutions of Karachi notably the NED University of Engineering & Technology, Beheria university Electronics Engineering, and all the four out five entry tests conducted by the University of Karachi i.e. Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Bachelors of Business Administrations and Bio-Technology. After all the clearance, I was given admission and was admitted and enrolled in the department of applied physics of university of Karachi, where I have cleared all the tests and as well as lab assignments and devoted about four months to the said department as a BS-Applied Physics regular enrolled student, where my particulars were as Class Roll No.32, Enrolment No. SCI/APH/26207/2010. When I was in the department of applied physics, I was a regular and not

only punctual but yet at that time I have cleared all the lab tests as the day to day assignments as well. Soon I realized that I am unable to bear the burden of the science field and to the said aspiration I with all my power tried by level best up to my ken to transfer my self from the department as well as from the faculty of science to the faculty of arts. The book I used to study from the library were too related to international relations, political science, mass communications, literature rather then of science. Having sent about three of the applications of transfer from the faculty the Honorable Registrar of the university replied to one of them through the letter on 30th march, 2010, vide Reference No.A.F.8(1)/2010-631 and the core synopsis of the letter was just to apply freshly in the desired field next year. Being a student, whose only occupation is of reading books and appearing in exams I act accordingly upon the recommendation of the highly respectable registrar but its impossible for me to kill the one educational year so after canceling the admission from the department of Applied Physics with assuming all due process and procedures I got my self enrolled as an external candidate of Bachelors of Arts course. Now, as the introduction is being transmitted, so I would like to place the matter of great importance and seeking urgent remedial action before you: After the cancellation of admission as I joined the Bachelors Of Arts course as a External Candidate and after few months I got admission in the English language proficiency course, in the university of Karachi working under the directorate of Students, Guidance, Counseling, Placement & Overseas Examination Bureau and at the end of the said ELPC course I was awarded the 3rd position and scored about 75% marks both in English language written & spoken as well. And after passing and before this the studies of Bachelors of Arts part-I was on the pace as at this time the preparation of Part-II is still on the way, then the dates of examination were announced and I appeared in the examination with full of confident and ultimately filled and answered all the questions of all the papers with gently ease. Recently the marks sheet I have received that is full of guilt and shameful for me that according to the said mark sheet I have scored just 42% marks in English, 56% marks in Islamic Studies, 56% marks in Political Science, 61% marks in Education and 50% marks in International Relations. Collectively speaking I got at least 53% marks in the field which I choose and prepared from the starting of the university life.

Here is the question of which I am stucked is that how it is possible that a person who secured more than 70% marks through out his educational carrier, in the subject of literature, got just 42% marks in the English compulsory paper of Bachelors Of Arts Part-I? That is not the end the whole of the
mark sheet and the mark assessment is a big question mark for me. I have clearly and completely answered all the five questions via assuming as English as the answering language in neat and clean order with in four (4) copies i.e. one A copy and three B copies. The copy numbers of the selective subjects are as:

International relations-I A copy No.-230285 while B copies Nos.-91581, 91552 and 91563 respectively. Political science-I A copy No.-231431 while B copies Nos.- 174517, 174898 and 174699 respectively. Education-I A copy No.-229181 while B copies Nos.-91887, 91838 and 91851 respectively. Now as a matter of fact that I have a complete belief on the written answers of mine as will as a firm believe on the conscience that this is not my result and I have not done any sort of heinous mistake or flaw in the answer sheet that the checker is able to cut down a lot of marks as that is being visible on the mark sheet. So this is a matter that is seeking urgent remedy. It is again my request to pass an immediate order to curtail this shocking terrible and trouble some piece of ill checked-malafidely alleged-doctored-engineered- translucent and forged form of marks assessment(s).My whole of the education carrier is revolving around the decision of your Excellency. I am here with this plea enclosing all the applications, mark sheets, certificates, reply letters, letter of cancellation of admissions, registration cards, do consider this is as my very first & be the least appeal. On the following grounds, I am fully confident that the assessment is wrongly made and inordinately published:
1. 2. 3. 4. That either A copy or may only B copy is checked or that the copy(ies) are either lost. That there is a possibility that the copies are not fully checked. There is a mare piece of space there that all the scripts are checked but marked averagely. That as I have secured third position in English Language Proficiency Course ELPC form the University of Karachi and got 75% marks and in FSc or at the intermediate level I got 72% marks in the compulsory English language BIEK exam. So, it s the hall marked question for me that either the whole education carrier of mine is forged or the said B.A part I result is fabricated one.

These grounds are not the end but yet with all my consent I am ready to produce and face my self before any sort of commission, board or the tribunal for the sake of getting the true face of my marks & at the same time if the action is not taken on this regard the constitution of Pakistan is giving me and I reserves the rights to take necessary action under the Chapter I of the Fundamental Rights of article 16, 17 and 19 because to me the marks given to me as are contrary to the Principle Of Policy of the Constitution Of Islamic Republic Of Pakistan article 37(c).
