Network Setup (Static IP)
Note
On startup, the WorkCentre multifunction machine defaults to DHCP to obtain its
network configurations, so DHCP must be turned off by manually entering a static IP
address.
a. Power on the machine.
b. Press the <Log In/Out> button on the control panel, and then type the System
Administrator login ID to enter the System Administration mode. The passcode
“11111”.
c. Press the <Machin Status> button on the control panel, and then select the
[Tools] tab on the screen.
d. Select [System Settting] in the menu at the left side of the screen.
e. Select [Connectivity & Network Setup] in the [Group] menu.
f. Select [TCP/IP – IP Mode], select [Ipv4 Mode]
g. Select [IP Address Resolution], and then [Change Setting].
h. Select [STATIC], and then select [Save].
i. Select [IPv4 – IP Address], and then [Change Setting].
j. Use the keypad on the screen to enter the IP Address for the machine in the
format “xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx”. Select [Save].
k. Select [IPv4 – Subnet Mask], and then [Change Settings].
l. Using the same method as in step j., enter the Subnet Mask.
m. Select [IPv4 - Gateway Address], and then [Change Settings].
n. Using the same method as in step j., enter the Gateway Address.
o. When you have finished establishing TCP/IP, select [Close] on the [Protocol
Settings] screen.

Setup Printer Driver for Windows


a. Insert disk driver into PC.
b. Click on [Start].

c. Click on [Control Panel].

d. Click on [Devices and Printers].

e. Click on [Add a printer].

f. Click on [Add a local printer].

g. Select [Create a new port], and on [Type of port] chose [Standard TCP/IP Port],
and then select [Next].

h. Type IP address of the machine copy “xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx” into [Hostname or IP


address], and then [Next].

i. Select [Have Disk…], and then [Browse..] to add driver on disk.

j. Select printer name that right with your machine, and then [Next].

k. Select [Do not share this printer], or [Share this printer] and then [Next].

l. Select [Finish].

Change Paper Size for Printer Driver
a. Right click on priner name select [Printer properties]

b. Select tap [Advanced] and click on [Printing Deraults…]

c. Select tap [Paper/Output], click arrow donw select [Other Size…]

d. Change on [Original Document Size] to [A4 (210 x 297 mm)], and then [OK],
[Apply], [OK] .
