Hardware configuration

Step-1: Open the SDM (SICAM Device Manager).

Step-2: Open the device. e.g. RTU_A


Step-3: Open the Hardware option in system.

Step-4: Addition of new module.


Note: With reference to Dwarka IGH. We have to take One CP-8050, CI-8520, CI-8551, CI-8551 & PS-
8642

On Site Physically Mounting of RTU modules.

In SDM module addition.


Step-5: Check the TCP & Serial Port is enable or not.

a) Select the module e.g., CP8050.

b) Open the properties of module by clicking on setting icon on right side.


c) In properties the ETH Port should be enable or (tick)

d) In properties the serial port should be define with the proper interface or filed side applicable
interface.
Step-6 Click on okay and save the project.

Hence this the basic configuration for


hardware assignment.
