Positive Parents We will be holding a six week parenting course in school, starting on 18th January at 1.15 p.m 3.15 p.m. The course is by Laura Rendall, the purpose of the course is for parents to come together to help them find their own ways of enjoying their children more, while also being more effective as parents. The course is an enjoyable, relaxing experience created by parents, for parents. All Welcome! There will be a meeting for Columba class on Monday 23rd January at 5.30 p.m regarding this years residential trip. R u Crafty ? If you enjoy crafts then would you like to join us in school for coffee, chat and craft every last Thursday of the Month, starting on Thursday 26th January at 2.20 -3.20 p.m. Bring your crafts and share ideas. We will also be starting a craft club for the children on Wednesdays at 3.30 -4.30 p.m a meeting will be held Monday afternoon, in school for children who are interested. To help us in setting up these craft clubs we would appreciate any donations of craft materials e.g. wool, thread, buttons, lace, ribbon, dolls, glass jars or anything you think may be of use to us Thank you ! When sending in money (trip, dinner, milk) please ensure that is in a sealed envelope with the childs name, class and what the money is for. This is extremely important and we would ask that all parents adhere to this. Thank you. Balby Communtity Library is changing and needs your help! Balby library is proposed to be kept in the current building, but in 2012 managed by volunteers. If you would like to be a member of a steering group to manage volunteers, please use the contact details below. This is a partnership event between the library service and the local community to keep the library running in Balby.
