conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification. Teams will be chosen at random, and will need to report to the obstacle course as soon as all team members are available.

Team set up

Two team members will begin at the first station, one team member will be waiting at each consecutive station (i.e. the next person will be waiting at the dummy drag). This is not a relay! The team members that begin the event will continue through the entire course. If team members have full teams (6 members) they will have all members participating for the last three stations (beginning with The Buddy System). Station #1: Cargo Crawl & Tire Trek 2 team members One team member will follow the other, first crawling under the cargo net, then through the tires. You may not touch the net with any part of your body, and you must step into each tire, or you will have to begin again. Station #2: Dummy Drag 3 team members Each of the team members will be responsible for getting their dummy across a marked portion of the beach. You may drag it or carry it, whatever it takes, but you must not damage the dummy in any way. Team members may help each other with a dummy but the struggling member must have at least one hand on the dummy at all times as the trek is being made. Station #3: Knot for the Faint of Heart 4 team members Team members will work together to untie all of the knots covering the chest. Once all of the knots are untied, the lid may be lifted and puzzle pieces removed. All knots must be untied before the lid may be lifted and assembly begins. The puzzle must be fully and correctly completed before any team members move to the next station.

Station #4: Life Ring Launch 5 team members Between the five members of the team, four life rings must land within the marked area. All five members must attempt throwing a ring. Life ring must land fully within the area (i.e. it cannot be half in and half out). Four rings must land within the area before any team members may move on. Station #5: The Buddy System (Three-Legged Race) 4-6 team members This is your typical three-legged race, with the added difficulty of moving through the sand. Team members must pair off two-by-two, each placing one leg into a potato sack. The partners must each keep one leg in the sack while moving to circle the cone, and then return to the start. In the event that a team does not have 6 members, all members must still be tied to another teammate. This may mean tying three people together, or one person repeating the task, but no one is allowed to move on their own! Station #6: Q & A - To Save the Day 6 team members Teams will move between four stations where they will be given four questions regarding beach safety. Each station will contain a multiple-choice question, with three possible answers (A, B, or C). There will be three corresponding boxes labeled A, B, and C. When the team has decided which answer they believe is correct, they may lift the lid of that box, and that box only (ex. They decide C is the correct answer, they will then lift the lid to the box marked C). If they have chosen the correct answer there will be 2 sponges in the box (which the team may take), if the answer chosen is incorrect the box will be empty. The whole team must move from one station to the next together, answering only one question at a time.

Station #7: Bucket Brigade 6 team members Teams will be given one sponge, and may use the sponges earned at the previous station. The teams must fill a bucket to a certain level by retrieving water from the lake using their sponges. The bucket may not be moved, and only water from the sponges may be placed in the bucket. Team members may position themselves in anyway that they find useful, so strategy is key! Once the water reaches the fill line the time will be stopped. This time will be used to calculate the score for the obstacle course.
