Job Description:
About the Job:
Work with the product team and stakeholders across the
company to identifyplatform requirements, and work within
the engineering team to plan and implement the
corresponding features.
Provide high-quality hands-on contributions across multiple
code bases.
Identify technical and architectural end states
for the project, andinfluence/evolve the code
case in those directions.
Monitor and measure team progress to ensure the
team is deliveringsustainably.
Play a key role in choosing technical investments for the team.
Mentor and grow engineers across the team.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology or equivalent
8+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems
Proficiency in re-architecting, measuring, and optimizing
existing softwaresystems
Strong interest in quickly learning new technologies and stacks
Strong product intuition and interest, with platform-building
experience
Tactical and strategic leadership experience on
medium/large-scale softwareprojects
Strong written communication skills for internal and external
stakeholders
Interest and experience in mentoring other engineers
Startup experience is a big plus.
Technical Skills ● At least 5 yrs. of experience in Python, Golang
● Strong in AWS (S3, ECS, SQS)
● Designing data infrastructure and micro services
Must Haves ● Hands-on experience designing and coding (60%)
● Keen interest in researching the latest software, machine
learning trends,and technologies
● Good communication & stakeholder management skills -
educate and be anadvocate for the solutions (Getting buy-in
from business stakeholders and other engineers)
