We are pleased to inform you that the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) initiative has been
launched to facilitate the seamless transfer and accumulation of academic credits across various
institutions. As part of this initiative, all students are required to create their unique ABC ID.
The ABC ID is a unique identification number that will allow you to store and manage your
academic credits digitally. This ID will enable you to access your academic records and facilitate
credit transfers between institutions.
To create an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID using DigiLocker, follow these steps:
1. Download DigiLocker: Install the DigiLocker app from the Google Play Store or Apple
App Store, or visit the DigiLocker website.
2. Sign Up / Log In: If you are a new user, sign up by providing your mobile number and
verifying it with an OTP. If you already have an account, log in using your credentials.
3. Update Aadhaar Information: Ensure that your Aadhaar card information is accurate.
If there are any discrepancies, update your Aadhaar details through the official UIDAI
website or your nearest Aadhaar center.
4. Access Your Profile: Once logged in, navigate to your profile section within the
DigiLocker app or website.
5. Link Aadhaar: Link your Aadhaar number to your DigiLocker account if it is not
already linked. This is essential for creating your ABC ID.
6. Refresh Aadhaar Information: After linking, refresh your Aadhaar information in
DigiLocker to ensure that the latest details are available.
7. Create ABC ID: Look for the option to create your ABC ID within the DigiLocker
interface. Follow the prompts to generate your unique 12-digit ABC ID.
8. Verify Your ABC ID: After creation, verify your ABC ID to ensure that all details are
correct and that it has been successfully generated.
9. Download Your ABC ID: Once verified, you can download your ABC ID for future
reference and use it to access your academic records.
10. Submit Information to Class Incharge: Submit your ABC Id information to class
Incharge.
