BEST PRACTICES IN PREPARATION FOR PISA 2025
As the global educational landscape evolves, the Program for
International Student Assessment (PISA) continues to serve as a vital
benchmark for evaluating student performance and school effectiveness.
In preparation for PISA 2025, our school has implemented a series of best
practices designed to enhance students learning. This narrative report
highlights the proactive steps taken by our institution to align with the
PISA framework, emphasizing our commitment to fostering a culture of
global competitiveness. Through strategic initiatives and collaborative
efforts among educators, we aim to not only meet but exceed the
expectations set by PISA.
The following sections detail the best practices that have been
integral to our preparation, showcasing how these efforts are shaping our
students into future-ready individuals equipped to excel globally.
1. ORIENTATION OF PARENTS
To prepare for PISA 2025, our school held an orientation session for
parents to emphasize their role in supporting their children’s
learning. The session covered what PISA is, how parents can help—
like encouraging reading and curiosity—and included a Q&A to
address questions and concerns.
The event successfully increased parental awareness, strengthened
school-family collaboration, and empowered parents to support their
children effectively. This initiative highlighted the value of teamwork
in ensuring student readiness for PISA and beyond.
2. COLLABORATIVE EXPERTISE
The preparation for PISA 2025 in our school also highlights the
collaborative expertise of our teachers. Through regular meetings
and shared professional development, our educators have worked
together to align teaching strategies with the competencies
assessed in PISA. This teamwork ensures a consistent and effective
approach in nurturing critical thinking, problem-solving, and literacy
skills among students.

Their dedication and shared expertise have played a pivotal role in
equipping students and engaging parents, creating a strong
foundation for success in PISA and beyond.
3. INTEGRATION OF PISA-LIKE QUESTIONS IN DISCUSSION AND
ASSESSMENTS
As part of our preparation, PISA-like questions have been seamlessly
integrated into classroom discussions and assessments. These
questions challenge students to think critically, apply knowledge to
real-world scenarios, and develop problem-solving skills. By
incorporating these elements into everyday learning, we ensure that
students become familiar with the PISA format and are better
equipped to excel in the assessment.
The preparation for PISA 2025 has been a collaborative and multifaceted
effort involving teachers, parents, and the community. By aligning
teaching strategies, integrating PISA-like questions, and fostering strong
partnerships with families and the community, our school has created a
robust foundation for student success. These initiatives underscore our
commitment to excellence and to ensuring our students are well-prepared
to meet the challenges of the global educational landscape.
