UNO RULES: DIECASTSPACE CONVENTION VERSION

The convention rules vary differently from normal game play to make the game run more smoothly and easier to play, even for the beginner. DOUBLE/TRIPLE STACKING OF SPECIAL PLAY CARDS IS NOT ALLOWED Stacking cards will not be allowed for convention-run UNO games. Stacking cards is when a player lays down a special play card, like a green +2 card and the player to the left, plays a red +2 card, and so forth until the player that cannot produce a similar card is left to pick the total number of cards stacked. Stacking is only allowed for NUMBER cards. This will create a funnier and quicker game experience for everyone involved. The following special cards cannot be used for stacking. See pictures of the cards below for reference:

All colors of REVERSE All colors of LOSE TURN All colors of PLUS 2 WILD CARD WILD CARD PLUS FOUR

+4 Wild Card

Lose Turn

Reverse Card

WILD CARD +4
The Wild Card +4 card can only be played if the player has no other card to play, after drawing one card from the draw pile when their turn comes around.

DISAGREEMENTS DURING GAME PLAY

All disagreements regarding game play or rules will be referred to and decided by the UNO referees, the convention staffers running the UNO event.

PICKING A DEALER
The game starts with every player pulling one face down card from the draw pile and the player with the highest number face card wins and is the dealer. All cards that are STOP, REVERSE, +2, WILD CARD, AND +4 WILD CARD, are not considered number cards. All cards are put back into the deck and reshuffled. DEALING OUT THE CARDS The player/dealer deals out five cards to each player. The dealing of the cards are similar to the same style as poker tournaments. The dealer lays down the remaining cards that have not been dealt, face down to create the draw pile and lays down the first card to start the game and creating the draw pile. The player to the left of the dealer plays next. THE GAME PLAY The first player views his/her cards and tries to match the card in the discard pile. You have to match either the number/type or the color, for instance if the discard pile has a red card that is an 8 you have to place

either a red card or a card with an 8 on it. If the player has no matches they must draw a card and their turn is over and the next player to the left has their turn.

WINNING THE GAME/BECOMING THE TABLE WINNER The UNO event runs to five rounds of UNO. If a player from each table wins 3 games within the 5 rounds, they are the winner of the table and go onto the Final Table. If there are two players that have won at least two games each, there will be a playoff between the two players and all other players from the table are done playing. The winner of the head to head play off is the table winner. This is a single round elimination. FINAL TABLE WINNERS The winner of each UNO table is the winner for the first round and goes to the Final Table. After all the respective winners of each table are determined, they will meet at the Final Table to play a single round elimination game. All the rules used before the Final Table Round still apply in this game. UNO EVENT CHAMPION After the end of the single round elimination, the winner of the game is crowned the convention uno event champion and receives the limited edition specially made event champion diecast car.
