Assist The last pass that leads to a field goal ( The passer is given one assist for one field goal made) Block A way to surely stop a ball from going in the basket by touching a part of a ball. Crossover Shifting the ball from left to right. Double Team Tactic used to pressure the ball handler where 2 defenders corner 1 offensive player. Euro Step A hop step to the right or left used to confuse the defender and get an easy layup. Foul A violation of rules committed during the game by a player. Goaltending When the ball is about to go in or when it is already in the box which is located on the backboard, it can no longer be touched, if violated, thus, goaltending. Half Court The middle part of a basketball court. In-n-out A situation in the game where the ball appears to be going out but instead, it goes out. Jump Shot A shot where the shooter jumps and shoots the ball. Key The free throw circle and lane. Layup A one hand shot where the player banks the ball to the board. MVP The best player in the league. NBA The best league where the best players compete. Pick and roll A play where a guard will ask the big men and screen their man to confuse the defense and get an easy basket. Quarter The term for a period in basketball. Rookie A person who has just entered a league. Slam Dunk A crowd pleaser where the player uses both or one of his hands to smash the ball in the ring.

Technical foul A violation given to anyone participating in the game for misconduct. Uncontested shot A situation in a game where the shooter makes an easy shot because no one is guarding him. Common Teenage Problems during Adolescence

1. Disagreements emerge because of the development of views. 2. Parents will feel rejected but they should be for it is a vital stage in life. 3. They will likely feel more depressed. 4. Over-eating occurs. 5. Pregnancies in teenagers will occur. 6. Intercourse is a sign of emotional distress. 7. Drugs, drinks and smoking are more common. 8. Parents will be shocked when teenagers get into a more intimate relationship and will make them feel jealous. 9. Teenagers would spend more time outside the house which makes their parents worry. 10. Teenagers would experience peer pressure.
