Peter :Hello, I am Peter!


Yiji :I am Yiji!
Arthur : I am Arthur! Today, we are
going to present to you our musical
instruments. Our group have made a
drum set, and 2 stick harmonicas. We
are going to introduce our instru-
ments one by one. We will have the
performance later on. First I willl tell
you about my drum set, which com-
bined “can drums” and “balloon
bongo”. In the beginning, my sister
and I went to buy 6 chip cans, and I
ate all the chips. Then, I stuck the
chip cans together. So here goes the
first half of the drum set. The other
half of the drum set was originally
made by Peter. But then when we

practiced together as a group, we fig-
ured that we have too many
drums .So I took over Peter’s balloon
bongo.
Peter: For my balloon bongo, I created
that with three corn soup cans. I
bought these cans with my parents
and then I drank all the corn soup! Af-
terwards, we used balloons and rub-
ber bands to cover the cans. I have
tried to put red beans into the cans to
see if it would generate different
sounds, but unfortunately it won’t! I
discovered that only different size of
can can create different tone. But
there is only one size of soup can…
Now it’s your turn, Yiji.
Yiji : I decided to make stick harmoni-
cas because it is very easy to make a
tune. I first bought all the the materi-
als with my mother. Next, I re-
searched on how to make stick har-
monicas on the website “Buggy and
Buddy”. Then, I measured the length

straws and used glue to stick it to the
decorated ice-lolly sticks. Finally, I
tried to play the notes and they were
in order, then I am done! Now, I will
pass the time to you, Peter.
Peter : As mentioned by Arthur, I was
the one to make the balloon bongo.
Then I switched to make a stick har-
monica in order to make our perfor-
mance sounds better. Now we will
perform a song that you must have
heard. This song is called”Jingle
Bells”.We chose this song because it’s
almost Christmas. Well, not really……
we will have assessment before
Christmas break……
Yiji & Arthur :Hahahahahahahahaha!
