1.Read 2 story books during the holidays written by famous authors like Ruskin Bond, Enid Blyton, Rabindranath Tagore, R.K Narayan, Roald Dahl, Carolyn Keene, R.L. Stine, Childrens Classics. 2. Write book reviews of one page each on any two books that you read. 3. Write a paragraph on any one moral value you would like to stand by in your life. Make a chart or collage on it. 4. In a fourlined note book, do one page cursive writing daily to improve your handwriting . 5. Revise grammar orally from SAB and grammar books eg. Three forms of verbs, degrees of comparison,collective nouns, singular plural, gender, homophones etc. SCIENCE All living things reproduce and increase in numbers. To increase in numbers , there are some natural agents which help in dispersing their seeds to far off places. (a) Name and collect two seeds each which disperse by wind, water,animals and explosion. Put them in a box containing a layer of cotton wool. (b) Make a model or chart on:- Save Energy, Save Earth Revise the chapters done in class. SOCIAL STUDIES As we know due to Global Warming , there is a definite change in the weather and climatic conditions in the world .Living in Delhi we can see and feel these changes. (Example- The temperature has gone above 40 degree Celsius in the month of April.) Lets try and create awareness about the reasons and consequences of Global Warming by collecting information from newspapers, magazines and internet.Use the collected matter/materials to make the following:Roll Nos 1-15 -- A chart on Global Warming, Roll Nos 16-30 A scrap book/ file on Global warming, Roll Nos 31 onwards a model on Global Warming. Revise the chapters done in class. COMPUTER SCIENCE Write short stories related to human values, showing concern to humanity, respect for others, courtesy, dignity of labour, respect for the environment, sense of social responsibility etc. in POWERPOINT software by adding picture, text or hyperlinks . OR Make a chart on the above topics.
