Introduction

I as a Marketing Executive had been asked by the company to prepare a discussion paper as the company to conduct a market audit, I have required choosing any retails companies in Seri Iskandar by conducting a Primary Research. So I had decided to choose Takzim Company. Takzim Company is a 100% Malaysian Textile Company. It was first established in 1990 as an importer and a wholesaler (specifically in general merchant & commission agent). In 2002, Takzim Textile had first opens its door to the public as a retailer. Since then, Takzim had been manufacturing and importing quality textile from around the world and selling them at affordable price. Now, being in the textile industry for over a decade Takzim Textile has become one of the most prominent leading textile suppliers in the country and were awarded as a franchisor in November 2007. Focus on our company chosen, Takzim Company was developing in Tesco Seri Iskandar on September 2011 and Madam Azizah is the owner of Takzim branch at Tesco Seri Iskandar. Before her open a branch that set up by family business which is actually Takzim Company has a 7 outlet including the new branch at Tesco Seri Iskandar. They actually lead by their Brother in law. And continue opne new market that manage by her husband and now they have open new branch at Tesco Seri Iksandar that control or manage by her itself. She was a banker until now. After many years she works as banker, her husband and family offer her to open a branch at Tesco Seri Iskandar. When she feel that Seri Iskandar is near with her place where is she live in Ipoh, She had decide to accept the offer after reject a few times. In September 2011, Takzim was open and start operate their business and until now almost years. 2.0 2.1 Research Finding Internal Environment

In the sources of internal environmental scanning, marketers start by looking to the organization mission for direction in their marketing planning efforts. They also examine the organization resources, offering, previous result, business relationships, key to success and warning sign (Referring text book page24). Internal factors for the Takzim have chosen only three which is mission, offering and business relationships. 2.1.1 Mission

First internal environment is mission. The organizations basic function in society, product and services for their customer can be described by mission of company. It is very important to have mission before we want to setup our own business because it help a marketers make decision about the appropriate strategies and program. Based from our research, Takzim mission is to create market, set the design and trend.( appencide 6.1) Here we know that Takzim want to set a design and following the trend

from time to time. It shows that, they always update the new trend of textile design. It follows by their vision which is One of the prominent and reputable textile companies in the country (appendices 6.1). Takzim want be a big textile in Malaysia by produce new design of textile from time to time. Resources

Second internal environment is resources where the organization can obtain, including human, financial, informational and supply resources. In other word, resources are productive factor required to accomplish an activity, or as means to undertake an enterprise and achieve desired outcome. The most basic resources are labor or human resources, and capital or financial resources. (http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/resource.html). For human resources, Takzim have 4 workers and this 4 worker is women. This is because of Takzim product Is textile and more suitable for women than man. Takzim worker has no training but they have manager which is Madam Azizah that can advice or give a good way to serve the customer. The relationship of Madam Azizah as a manager or leader that control the Takzim branch is close which is, base from the interview by the question that how to build the relationship between manager with worker? Madam Azizah as a manager did a family day between their workers. Other than that, Madam Azizah said, they have a policy of relationship between manager and worker. Next, capital or finance resources of Takzim. For Takzim company at Tesco, their capital or their fund is come from Takzim company at Shah Alam which is the office of Takzim. It have a HAQ that control the Takzim in all place at Malaysia. Based from question that have been ask to Madam Azizah which is, how much the capital Takzim use to set up the business? then She said, around RM200 000 Takzim have covered to open new branch in Tesco. It covered everything from A to Z, start from the renovation of branch until their product and packanging.

2.1.3

Offering

The third internal environment is the offering which is Takzim has offered their product and service such as product textile and service installation carpet, curtain and so on. Besides that, they have provided other product such as scarf, inner, telekung, sejadah, and brooch. Takzim also provided delivery services for the big product or large quantity. This because Takzim has a demand from customer to provided delivery services including the installation curtain and brooch for scarf. Most customers for Takzim is women because Seri Iskandar is majority for women. Also has offering low price for their customer which is cotton for kid is only RM19.90 and selendang with RM7.90. (Appendices picture) .They opens at 10.00am 10.00pm. The prices have provided from Takzim is low, so it will attract more customers to visit their outlet. More than that, the quality of textile also fulfills the satisfaction of user. 2.1.4 Business Relationships

Fourth is,Business Relationships. By having a good relation with customer, distributor, supplier, and others company can make a good business to the company. Takzim have a good care to customer and supplier to make sure their relationship is fine and close. Takzim get their product from Shah Alam that have given by Takzim Textile Shah Alam. They get the stock from the same supplier since start they open in 2011 and until now still have good relationships from both sites. This is because the procedure, any product is come from Takzim textile itself. They will send to every outlet in the Malaysia which is have 7 outlet including Takzim at Tesco Seri Iskandar. It show that they have good communication skills so it can run business smoothly and easy to make deal with the officer of Takzim. Customer also is the important thing that Takzim needs to take care. If they do not have good care of their customer so it will give an effect in their organization to gain income or profit. Takzim Company has their own loyalty customer as the workers have a good communication skill while dealing with customers. For example, give a suitable price and good quality product.
