IoT Full-Stack Framework Activity

Activity: Compare IoT full-stack frameworks, evaluate their performance in

real-life scenarios and highlight their advantages and disadvantages.

Instructions:

• Research Phase: Explore at least two IoT full-stack frameworks (such as

Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or Google Cloud IoT). Identify their components,
functionalities and supported protocols.

• Comparison Table: Create a comparison table that outlines the key

features, advantages and disadvantages of each framework. Focus on
aspects like security, scalability, ease of integration, cost and data
management capabilities.

• Scenario-Based Evaluation: Choose a practical IoT scenario (e.g.,

smart city traffic management, connected healthcare, or smart
agriculture) and evaluate which framework would be most suitable.
Justify your choice by comparing how each framework addresses the
specific needs and challenges of the chosen scenario.

• Compile your findings, including the comparison table, your scenario-

based evaluation, and a conclusion on the strengths and weaknesses
of each framework in different contexts.

Share your findings with your peers or mentor for further insights.
