Today, we will introduce three traditional foods-each from Thailand, Vietnam, and China.
Ingredients: 1. 1 lb chicken breasts 2. 3 stalks lemon grass, sliced and crushed 3. 4 cups Maggi (soy sauce) chicken with cooking stock 4. 3 kaffir lime leaves 5. 2 tablespoons Maggi (fish sauce) 6. 2 tablespoons lime juice 7. 3 crushed chilies 8. Garnish: 2 cups coriander sprigs Procedures 1. Chop chicken into inches, leaving the bone in or removing it. Usually, bones are left in for flavor. 2. Set the chicken aside. 3. Put lemon grass in a saucepan with the Maggi (soy sauce) chicken with cooking stock and kaffir lime leaves. Boil it for 5 minutes. 4. Add the chicken and Maggi (fish sauce) and boil it gently for 15 minutes. 5. Remove from heat and add lime juice. Add chilies to soup. 6. Garnish with coriander. This can serve 4-6 people. You can see there are only six steps!!
om Yum Kai, or Sour Chicken Soup, is one of a Thai top dish, and also a dish of the Far East region (Thailand is in the Far East region). This dish is famous throughout the world. Tom Yum Kai is an herb soup with chickens. There will be flavors of sweet, sour, and salty, mixed together. One very important thing about the flavor of this dish is it shouldnt taste bland, but should mainly taste hot and sour. The sweet flavor will come from the chickens. Sometimes, this soup could be a medicine, because it could cure some sickness, like stomach ache, flu. This dish could be eaten at any time Sour Chicken Soup is from Chiang San, an ancient capital facing Laos across the Mekong River. All of Chieng San is a T-junction and the Sala Thai is at its very heart. Right on the river, it is one of the most beautiful places in Thailand. This menu could be made spicy and might not be spicy. Here, I have given a recipe of making a Peking duck. I think this might be a little simple for cooking beginners.
