You will be working with these peopl e 8 hours a day and 5 times a week which means you’ll be seeing them a lot. Knowin g the people around you in the workplace will be a great help to you because alo ng the way you will count on these people for support, assistance, direction, ad vice and favors. Having good relationship with people is important for success b ecause these people will help support you from the ground and lift you to succes s. To build a good relationship it is important to know the different types of personalities that every single person has and to know how to deal with it. Dealing with these different types of personalities is not that easy. Possibilit ies are people may not like you, they will criticize you, will bring you down an d may intimidate you and because of this your performance and productivity in th e office will be affected. You can’t please everyone around and you can’t force them to like you and you can’t do anything to that and worse is you still need to work with them and to be able to do work with them. To be successful we need to learn that good relationship takes time to d evelop, to be acquainted with other person and for them to also know us and a ti me to build trust in each other. To have a good relationship with them doesn’t hav e to mean that you need to be the greatest friends but it’s about developing a hap py working company with mutual benefit. Having good human relationship in the workplace is a two way benefit bec ause they can bring out the best in you and at the same time you can also bring out the best in them and that will make success a bit easier to achieve knowing that you have people that will support you and will lift you up and push you to your limits. No man is really an island because God created us to be with people, to depend on them and at the same time to be someone to depend on. Relationship is not just about always receiving and receiving, it’s a give and take relationship o f our experiences, time, efforts, favors and love and I believe that these are v ital elements to be successful in all aspects of life.
