I. Phần mở rộng: phát âm.
1. Hướng dẫn phát âm /th/, /sh/ và /dz/.
a. /th/ - 2 kiểu phát âm /θ/ và /ð/:
* Mở video “th”.

every day, which keeps me motivated. Additionally, I have a great team and supportive

that suits my interests and allows me to learn and grow.

b) Giving examples (Đưa ra ví dụ):

Q: What do you dislike about your job?
A: One thing about my job that frustrates me is that it can be time-consuming. It takes a huge
amount of time and effort to be a full-time editor for a big marketing firm. For example, when
the manager wants me to make a new video to upload on YouTube, I have to spend almost four
days completing everything from writing the script to filming and editing. I often find myself
burning the midnight oil to complete the tasks.

c) Compare past and present (So sánh quá khứ và hiện tại):
Q: What do you do after work?
A: In the past, I liked to go out with my colleagues to some interesting restaurants or bars to
relieve stress after work. However, I realized that doing that over a long period of time had a
negative impact on my mental and physical health. So now when I finish my work day, I always
take time to cook dinner at home, relax by watching something interesting on Netflix, or taking
care of my body.

d) It depends (Lựa chọn phụ thuộc vào…):

Q: How do you spend your work day?
A: It depends on the days of the week. I usually start my day with a few meetings with my team
or my boss. Then, my tasks change every day. Basically, from Monday to Wednesday, I’d spend
almost the whole day writing scripts for different kinds of content that my company films in a
week. For the rest of the week, I will create and edit videos.

to have great passion and patience because I need to meet a lot of different students who come
from different backgrounds and have many personalities. That is why, on top of all, social skills
are very important, especially for modern teachers like me.

This job to me is perfect for several reasons. First, I can get to meet many students who always
have a story to tell and I believe we can learn something from them like life experience. Second,
working as an English language teacher would allow me to share my knowledge of the English
language and culture with others while also creating a supportive learning environment. Seeing
my students become more confident and fluent in English to become a citizen of the world would
make this job rewarding for me.
