It was Leonardo da Vinci who is quoted as saying, When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to be. The Psalmist David wrote show me the path where I should go, O Lord; point out the right road for me to walk (correct Flight Path)for you are the God who gives me salvation. I have no hope except in you. Ps. 25:4-5. (ChapCap)

Attached to this News Letter is a Staff Application Form for this years MMR. Your application and the $20.00 event fee are due at the next meeting, as announced in a previous Email sent to all Squadron Members. Please note that the date for the event on the application form is now 20-21 February. This is one of the Banner Events on our annual calendar of activities, so do not miss it. This is your chance to go supersonic with the tip of a bull whip, score a bulls eye with a black powder rifle and arrow the same day, embarrass yourself trying to hit anything with a Cave Man era atlatl dart, enter a caber (log) toss competition, compete in trap setting, partner in a log sawing contest, learn to pan for gold, and do many other things you have never done outside a Mountain Man Rendezvous. You can also get credit for community service as part of the Security Staff. If you cannot make it to the last meeting this year, be sure to bring your Staff Application and event fee to the first meeting in 09. SEE BELOW
