Scott Storch In Trouble With The Law Again Super producer Scott Storch seems to still be battling with a cocaine addiction, which has lead to his latest arrest in Las Vegas. TMZ.com has reported that Scott Storch was arrested on February 4th, after hotel security spotted him trying to hide a bag of cocaine in a trash can at The Cosmopolitan Hotel. Hotel security called police after Scott allegedly refused to pay for his room. When police arrived they searched the trash can and found 2.7 grams of cocaine. Scott was immediately arrested and released on $5,000 bail. Scott Storch, once famous for his extrodinary, trend setting beats has recently become equally infamous for his cocaine addiction. It is said that he has wasted tens of millions of dollars on this horrible habit. Nas Seems To Be Having Tax Problems Nas continues to have issues financially, the latest has Nas being hit with new tax liabilities. TMZ.com, reports that now Nas owes the IRS $339,000, stemming from income that Nas earned in 2010. Nas as of yet, has not paid which has made the IRS put a lien on property that he owns. Nas is said to own a few properties, which include an estate in Eagles Landing, Georgia. This is just the latest in the battle between Nas and the IRS. In January of 2011, it was also reported that Nas owed the IRS $6million for numerous years of unpaid taxes. In other Nas news, he is planning to release his memoir "It Ain't Hard To Tell," which is co-written by Toure. Nas' rise to Hip Hop stardom, his

rivalry with Jay-Z, as well as his relationship with Kelis will just be some of the subjects discussed in Nas' memoir. In addition to his memoir, Nas is preparing for the release of a new album "Life Is Good."

Whitney Houston Dead At Just 48 The pop culture was dealt another big blow, as the world found out that they had lost the great Whitney Houston at the young age of 48. Whitney was found in the bath tub, underneath water by members of her staff. Many news outlets have said that Xanex, which Whitney indeed had a prescription for, played a viable part in her tragic death. Although her cause of death is still uncertain, Xanex is used mostly for anxiety and even sometimes for depression. It is also being said that Whitney may have mixed the drug with alcohol. Which when combined can lead to decreased heart rate and breathing, and can also lead to death. MSN.com reported that when Bobby Brown, Whitney's ex-husband found out, he broke down on stage in Mississippi, while touring with his old group New Edition. Whitney's death came in the middle of the Grammy's weekend. As producers of one of the most watched awards ceremonies found out the news, they scrambled to put some kind of tribute together to pay homage to the musical icon. Whitney, who in her 25+ year career has won six of the prestigious awards, was paid tribute by a performance by Jennifer Hudson. Whitney is survived by one child, her daughter Bobbi Kristina, who she had with her ex-husband Bobby Brown.

Men Still Being Held Captive In Africa A team of promoters that were kidnapped in Angola, Africa have been held captive for the past 2 months and are still being held, due to Nas and Jemiah Jah failing to perform at a New Year's Eve concert in Luanda. Patrick Allocco and his son Patrick were interviewed by The New York Post, where the men explained both the events that led up to their capture, as well as the type of conditions they were being subjected to 44 days into their situation. A group of 20 men armed with AK-47's apprehended Patrick and his son as they were attempting to enter the U.S. embassy in the country, once they realized that the show was not going to take place. The group of men associated with local promoter Henrique Miguel's company Casa Blanca Entertainment, smashed Patrick's head into an SUV, from there the father and son team of promoters where taken to a local motel and were being charged a lot of money for food and room. The Allocco's were interrogated by police where they placed the blame on Nas and Jemiah Jah. They claimed that although Nas returned his $300,000 advance, Jemiah Jah refuses to return her advance, even though she never performed. The Allocco's had their passports were taken after the interrogation. "He put us in real harm, in real possible danger," Allocco

said. "This is the closest thing we came to someone up and running with the money." With the U.S. Embassy refusing to interfere in the matter, the men are being held until they are able to pay and additional $75,000 which Henrique Miguel is now demanding. Allhiphop.com is reporting that New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, who has a personal relationship with the President of Angola, is threatening to bring the matter to the attention of President Barack Obama, if the matter cannot be resolved. Lil' Boosie Looking At Life In Prison Rapper Lil' Boosie who has already been in jail serving an eight year sentence for possession of marijuana, as well as attempting to sneak in drugs into two State prisons in Louisiana, will now stand trial in April for murder. If convicted Lil' Boosie could be facing the death penalty. Lil' Boosie released a letter to his fans, thanking them for their support as he faces various legal challenges. Last month I was sentence to 8 years with credit for time served so I will have to do 19 months on that sentence. I go to trial for this murder charge in April so please keep me in your prayers.

Suge Knight In Trouble With The Law Again The former CEO of Death Row Suge Knight was arrested in Las Vegas on February 8th. Suge was riding in his black Bentley, when he made an unsafe lane change, TMZ.com has reported. The police searched the vehicle around 5:30pm and found that he was carrying a small amount of marijuana. He was released from the local jail where he was processed. This latest arrest could lead to more jail time for Suge, who is currently on three years unsupervised probation, after he was caught driving with a suspended license in December of 2010.

Chris Brown & Rihanna Reconcile? The rumor mill is stirring crazy this month. Now I am hearing that Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together. Lol, I hope I am hearing this right. Some sources have reported that party goers saw the two together at Rihanna's 24th birthday party and the two were intimate, sitting next to each other, talking and holding hands all night. Her birthday bash was at the Hearst Mansion in Beverly Hills. I also heard that Chris Brown's Reps tried to force party goers into signing confidentiality agreements. That's crazy, I am hearing that a lot of people declined and that someone was so upset about it that they decided to put their business on front street about the events that took place at the party. They even went ahead and leaked a picture of Rihanna's birthday cake which was a giant blunt with a small figurine of herself riding the blunt like a horse. Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Chris Martin were all in attendance as well. We will keep you posted on what continues to develop with these two. Kobe And Vanessa Working Things Out After Drake got on Rick Ross' "Stay Scheming" song and gave a shout out to Kobe for losing $150 million, along with three of his houses if the divorce goes through. However, I am hearing that the two might be working things out. Vanessa was spotted sitting right behind the Lakers bench, as she attended her first Lakers home game of the season, which just happened to be on Valentine's Day. After the game, pictures that show the estranged couple kissing on lips. Even though the two have filed the necessary paper work for the divorce, it doesn't become final until sometime in June. Chris Brown And Rihanna Back In The Studio Together As most of us already knew once the word was out that the two were together, is it really a surprise that the two are back in the studio together recording new music? Well for those of you out there that didn't fathom the reunion, its happening. Rihanna and Chris were both seen entering the same West Hollywood recording studio some time in February. The two didn't arrive together, but i am being told they were there to perform a duet about friendship and forgiveness, which Rihanna will be releasing later on this year. Christina Milian Dating Someone On Young Money The sexy songstress that is well known both for her sultry voice as well as the amount of celebrities she has been linked to dating. Nick Cannon, Dre (From Cool & Dre), The Dream to now some on in Young Money have all had a chance with the sexy singer. During the Young Money pre-grammy party Lil' Wayne announced that Young Money had just singed Christina to the label. Christina also tweeted, "Life is great... YMCMB." Ozone Magazine founder Julia Beverly has revealed via Twitter that Christina is "involved with someone from the Young Money camp." Here are her tweets "C Milian was "involved" w somebody in YM camp so her signing is not surprising...not gonna put em on blast... but not wayne" people think it's random that she got signed. I'm just it's not. You'd be surprised who knows who & who's involved w who." Julia made sure to mention that it wasn't Lil' Wayne, so I wonder who could it be. Do you guys have any idea? Lil' Wayne Taking Shots At The Throne At The YMCMB pre-grammy party in L.A. last month, Lil' Wayne took yet another shot at Jay-Z. While showing off his new sales plaque and talking to the crowd as well as asking for a moment of silence for Whitney Houston, Lil' Wayne rapped a line where throws a rock at the throne. "I met a bad red bone/I took the bitch home/I asked her what she want to watch/She said surely not, The Throne." Now I don't know why Lil' Wayne is still trying to bait Jay into a lyrical warfare. Gucci Mane Making Big Moves Now their have been rumors for a while now that Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has been looking to expand his 1017 Brick Squad record label. Sitting down for an interview recently with Hot 107.9 in Atlanta Gucci Mane was asked if the rumors were true that he indeed signed both Yung Joc and Gorilla Zoe to 1017 Brick Squad. Gucci didn't fully confirm nor did he deny the rumors. We will keep you posted on this.

Could It Be That Nate Dogg's Friends Abandoned Him Before His Tragic Death? TMZ.com is reporting that Nate Dogg's estate as well as his business partner David Michery have lost a $300 thousand lawsuit filed by CareMeridian, the medical facility where Nate Lived from 2008 to 2010 after suffering a massive stroke. According to David Michery, "none of Nate's so called rapper friends" are stepping up to the plate to help. "I was the only person who would come forward because I didn't want him to die. Me and Nate have 20 years of history together and I did what everyone should have done and tried to save his life... not let him get kicked out in the streets and die." David intends to pay the costs by releasing several never before heard Nate Dogg tracks that he claims to have in his possession. Warren G, who recorded "Regulate" with Nate Dogg, told TMZ.com "I rode with Nate 'til the end... I did what I could do for him with other things financially." "If I was able to pay for his hospital bill, I would have. I made several calls to numerous people for help. I love Nate... he's my brother." As of press time Snoop Dogg has not has not responded to the rumors. Big Meech Defends T.I. I am sure you guys remember T.I. getting caught with a slew of weapons and ammunition and getting off with a very light sentence. Well ever since then, people have been accusing T.I. with being an informant. Much to the dismay of Black Mafia Family boss Big Meech. In a letter to StraightfromtheA.com, Big Meech writes: "There is no person in the Federal or State system that can say or is saying that 'T.I. Clifford Harris' snitched on them. I'm tired of people spraying his name when his plea deal and sentencing transcripts is 'ONLINE'." You pay $40 to get on 'Pacer' and you have access to all court documents on any person in the 'United States'." Since when have these two been down with one another?

Drake Being Sued By Ex As if Drake didn't have enough drama in his life, AllHipHop.com is reporting, his Ex, Ericka Lee is suing him over her vocals being used on the smash record "Marvin's Room." Ericka is the inspiration for the record and her voice is the one being heard on the voicemail monologues. She was credited as a "vocalist" on the song under "Syren Lyric Muse" but according to Ericka she has never received any compensation for her work. Ericka Lee is claiming that Drake acknowledged her contributions via text messages, which she has saved. Reportedly, he says "U basically made that song" and "It's shit without you." Ericka filed a lawsuit against the rapper on July 11, claiming, "My works and voice are used on this work." Two months later, Cash Money Records made its own claim, saying that the song authored was an "employer for hire." Also in the complaint, Drake later sent a text message to Ericka that offered her 2 percent of "publishing royalties." By November, Ericka claims that Drake agreed to meet up with her in Los Angeles to discuss, but when he didn't keep his word, she hired a lawyer. Upon finding out, Drake allegedly spazzed out and started making threatening phone calls. "What the Fuck is your problem?" he said to her, according to the complaint, then offering her "4-5 percent of publishing monies plus a $50,000 payout to go away." Ericka Lee is demanding that a judge declare her as co-writer of the song. She's also seeking damages and disgorgement of profits on allegations of breach of fiduciary duties and unjust enrichment. Ericka Lee is being represented by Neville Johnson, who previously filed a lawsuit against Drake on behalf of Playboy Enterprises for sampling an unauthorized sound recording it owned on "Best I Ever Had." For the most Part it is Rafael Brimstone Gibbons, but Brim, Raf or Rafael is cool for me JAS: What genera are you representing? R.B.: I am representing Progressive/Power and Good Old Heavy Metal. JAS: How long have you been in the business? R.B.: I've been singing about 20 years give or take, I started out with a few cover bands but evidently I don't sound too much like any one singer and hated covering anyone unless we changed the entire approach..once I started doing original stuff the voice evolved from there and prefer to that alone JAS: What is your main motivation to strike out in this industry? R.B.: I want to share my art with everyone I can. I've been lucky that the original stuff seems to be liked by many people that enjoy different genres JAS: Who would you say are your influences in the world of rock? R.B.: My influences directly and indirectly would be King Diamond as His music allowed me to temper the higher range and keep it strong. Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson, Ronnie James Dio and Michael Kiske and even Pavarotti for power. JAS: If you could work with anyone who would it be? R.B.: That's a tough one because the guys I am playing with in Adamo's Legion are the perfect bunch. When they write I can figure out what to do almost instantly but then again then know my style as well. It's become a well oiled machine.

JAS: So what are plans and what should we be expecting next from you? We are getting ready to finish up what is a bunch of amazing songs. I am really proud of the new material as it will easily contend with the heavy hitters out there. I will go out on a limb and say there is not a single "filler tune on it. I cannot wait for everyone to hear them. After that, the shows come and who know what from there? mwahahahahahah(cough, cough) hahahah!!!

Even after his tragic death 15 years ago, The Notorious B.I.G.'s music is still just as relevant as its always been. What makes him so relevant is the fact that his lyrics are timeless. You could listen to his songs years later and its like he recorded them yesterday. Born in the BedfordStuyvesant section of Brooklyn to a Jamaican, school teacher who worked two jobs to support him, B.I.G. went from selling drugs on the corner to slinging dope lyrics in front of bodegas. In March of 1992, B.I.G. appeared in the Source's Unsigned Hype column, which at that time was a big step in the right direction. It would be because of his friendship with Brooklyn DJ Mister Cee that B.I.G. would get his meeting with Sean "Diddy" Combs, who at the time was serving as the A&R at Uptown Records. Immediately after meeting Sean Combs, B.I.G. was signed to Uptown Records and made his first appearance on wax, which happened to be on his labelmate, Heavy D & The Boyz' "Buncha Niggas" in 1992. However, before B.I.G. could enjoy the fruits of his labor Puff was fired from Uptown and he took B.I.G. and up and coming rapper Craig Mack with him and started his own label. Bad Boy Entertainment was formed soon after that. With a new label behind him, B.I.G. went back to work perfecting his craft and making a lane in the Hip Hop game for his new sound. With a slew of guest appearances on remixes from Mary J. Blige's "What's The 411? (Remix)" To Craig Mack's "Flava In Your Ear (Rmx)," B.I.G. was steadily building anticipation to his debut. "Party And Bullshit" off of the Who's The Man soundtrack served both as B.I.G.'s first solo song as well as a driving force to fans wanting the debut album from The Notorious B.I.G. In September of 1994, fans got their wish and Ready To Die was released. A critically acclaimed album which spawned classic singles like "Juicy", "Big Poppa" and "Unbelievable". Ready To Die went on to sell 4 million units. Despite his new claimed fame, B.I.G. never forgot his promise and formed the group Junior M.A.F.I.A. (Junior Masters At Finding Intelligent Attitudes) which consisted of childhood friends and fellow rappers Lil' Kim and Lil' Cease. With B.I.G.'s help and mentoring, Junior

M.A.F.I.A. released their debut Conspiracy, which spawned hits like "Player's Anthem" and "Get Money" which further proved B.I.G.'s strong hold on Hip Hop at that time. Fresh off the success of his debut as well as the debut of the Junior M.A.F.I.A., B.I.G. started recording his follow up in 1995, recording in New York, Trinidad and Los Angeles. The album took 18 months to complete due to injury (B.I.G. was involved in a car accident that shattered his left leg and confined him to a wheelchair. The injury forced him to use a cane from that point on.), legal wranglings and the East Coast Vs. West Coast beef (which started in 1994 when Tupac Shakur was shot 5 times and robbed of thousands of dollars in jewelry in the lobby of The Quad Studios in New York, while B.I.G. was upstairs recording). On March 9, 1997 Hip Hop was dealt a huge blow when The Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down coming out of a party in Los Angeles. Two weeks after his untimely death B.I.G. released his final album recorded while he was alive, Life After Death. Life After Death debuted at number 176 on the billboard charts and in just one week mad the largest jump to number 1 in billboards history. The album sold 690,000 units in its first week and two years later went on to sell over ten million units and become one of the select few Hip Hop albums to ever do so. Since then, two albums have been released after B.I.G.'s passing '99s Born Again and '05s Duets. These albums made using unreleased music from before B.I.G.'s death as well as remixed music previously released. All these albums did was solidify the hold that B.I.G. had on the Hip Hop game as well as how much we miss his music. We salute you B.I.G. and still bump your music, 15 years later. Geared more towards the ladies, this mixtape shows him as his alias Young Barry White. As Young Barry, he runs a radio station who's only purpose is to satisfy the female listener, and he does not disappoint. I think a relationship is between two people not three, four and five. When Love Is all you have, and all you hold on to, nothing in the world seems to matter. No fear nor pain, is greater than the healing of one's heart. The comfort in knowing that someone is living for you, is worth dying for. Coming from being broken, my bitterness began to eat me alive. My heart turned cold, my eyes black, and I had a hole in my soul. I had false hope for being saved from what I believed, was the end for me. But when I met you, all of those feelings of loneliness, bitterness and hate, became non-existent.

Gods and Goddess Central...

Athena-Athena was the daughter of Zeus and Metis. But there was a problem, Zeus checked
up on Metis and found out that if he had a son by her this son would be mightier than him (you know, the same way he was greater than his daddy and his daddy was greater than his grandpa). So he tricked Metis and ended up swallowing her when she turned into a fly and figured she was no longer a threat. However, Metis was pregnant with Athena and when Athena was born, this turned into quite a problem. Soon Zeus was plagued with killer headaches and he ran to Hephaestus (Smith God) and begged him to open his head. Hephaestus did as he was told, and out popped Athena, full grown and ready for battle! Other versions peg her father as Pallas (who later attempted to ravage her and she killed him without hesitation and took his name and skin). Some say her daddy was Itonus, a King of Iton. Some say her biological father was Poseidon, but that she begged to be adopted by Zeus. No matter what the story is, she never has a real mother. Athena's birth "is a desperate theological expedient to rid her of matriarchal conditions" says J. E. Harrison. She was the Goddess of Wisdom, and the daughter of the Titaness who basically personified it. By having her born only from Zeus, it gave males authority and power over something that had previously only been a female realm. Zeus swallowed Metis, and so was able to assimilate her crafty wisdom. Athena did not have any loyalty to a mother figure, which probably played a major role in her self-description as misogynist.

In general, Athena was a really nice goddess. She was very modest, like Artemis, but much more generous. Athena, like Artemis, was surprised by an enraptured onlooker while bathing, but she didn't kill him or transform him or rip him to shreds or anything. She laid her hands over his eyes and blinded him, but gave him inward sight and the ability to understand the birds' signs to tell the future. As a result, Teiresias (that was his name) was highly respected and revered from then on. So that wasn't bad at all. Athena was, as I said, generally cool. But every once in a while she got all pissy (as gods tend to get) and lashed out. Once, was a rather minor incident when she invented this double stemmed flute. She was really excited about it, and went around playing it everywhere. That is, until someone happened to mention that she looked absolutely ridiculous with her cheeks puffed out like that to play. She was furious and threw the flute onto the ground where it was picked up by Marsyas, but that's another story. The one time Athena really lost it for something petty was in the story of Arachne, and that story isn't even really Greek. Arachne was this Lydian princess who was a fabulous weaver. She was so good that people said she was better than Athena. Athena heard and was all like, "Excuuuuuuse me? Please girl, I was weaving before humans existed," and challenged Arachne to a weave-off. They both made beautiful tapestries, and both were completely flawless, except Arachne's made fun of the Gods. Athena was bitter and very pissed and ripped Arachne's work to shreds in a cold, vengeful rage. Arachne totally didn't mean to upset her heroine and hung herself, but Athena remembered herself, and saved the girl by turning her into a spider and giving her the ability to weave forever. In a variation on the same theme, Servius reports that Athena loved this Attic chick, but the girl (Myrmex) went out and betrayed Athena's trust by claiming to have invented the plow herself, when it was really Athena. See, if they were both mortal, there would have been all this drama, someone would have gone home crying ... but Athena just turned the girl into an ant for being so presumptuous and that was the end of that.

HadesHADES (Aides, Aidoneus, or Hades) was the King of the Underworld, the god of death and the dead. He presided over funeral rites and defended the right of the dead to due burial. Hades was also the god of the hidden wealth of the earth, from the fertile soil with nourished the seed-grain, to the mined wealth of gold, silver and other metals. Hades was devoured by Kronos as soon as he was born, along with four of his siblings. Zeus later caused the Titan to disgorge them, and together they drove the Titan gods from heaven and locked them away in the pit of Tartaros. When the three victorious brothers then drew lots for the division of the cosmos, Hades received the third portion, the dark dismal realm of the underworld, as his domain. Hades desired a bride and petitioned his brother Zeus to grant him one of his daughters. The god offered him Persephone, the daughter of Demeter. However, knowing that the goddess would resist the marriage, he assented to the forceful abduction of the girl. When Demeter learned of this, she was furious and caused a great dearth to fall upon the earth until her daughter was returned. Zeus was forced to concede lest mankind perish, and the girl was fetched forth from the underworld. However, since she had tasted of the pomegranate seed, she was forced to return to him for a portion of each year. Hades was depicted as a dark-bearded, regal god. He was depicted as either Aidoneus, enthroned in the underworld, holding a bird-tipped sceptre, or as Plouton, the giver of wealth, pouring fertility from a cornucopia. The Romans named him Dis, or Pluto, the Latin form of his Greek title Plouton, "the Lord of Riches."
