Purpose. MCT course 35.15b, Automotive Brake System, has been published as a part of the ‘Marine Corps continuing education program to provide instruction on automotive brake systems for all motor transport mechanics . 2. Scope. MCI course 35.15b, Automotive Brake System, is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to repair and maintain an automotive brake system. This course covers the proper procedures to be followed when performing maintenance on hydraulic, air, power, and auxiliary brake systems. This course also provides diagnostic/troubleshooting techniques for these brake systems. 3. Applicability. This course is intended for instructional purposes only. It is designed for use by Marines in the ranks of private first class - sergeant in MOS 3521. 4. Recommendations. Comments and recommendations on the contents of the course are invited and will aid in subsequent course revisions.
