household chores.

When his mother and grandmother died he went

on to continue the traditions and documented
these epics which are referred to as the Labaw
Dunggon and Humadapnon epics with researchers.
Nong Pedring
He is considered as a bantugan (the one who makes
history) due to his positive influence extending beyond
his community.

He encouraged the elders in the community to learn

how to read and write so that they can document and
preserve their indigenous traditions and beliefs. He
sought help from the Bureau of Non-formal Education
as he traveled to different barangays in this endeavor.
