Thank you for choosing my crochet pattern!

This pattern contains the detailed description of the toy «Bear in

clothes». The bear is crocheted from plush yarn. The head turns in
various directions with splint attachment. If you don’t have splint
you can sew on the head to the body.

The crochet pattern is for your personal use only. This is an author's
development. Resale, copying, translation into other languages,
posting on the Internet without author`s permission are prohibited!

The difficulty level is easy.

The pattern does not contain crocheting lessons and requires basic
knowledge.

I hope the crocheting process will not make it difficult for you. I
tried to describe in all details each stage of creating this toy and I
think that you will succeed! If you still have any questions, do not

Required materials and tools

1. Yarn:
WOLANS BUNNY BABY (100gr/120mt) – 100-19 brown
HIMALAYA Dolphin Baby (100gr/120mt) – 80302 light lemon
YarnArt JEANS (50gr/160mt) – 70 brown (nose)
Alize Cotton Gold (100gr/330mt) – 129 light green
YarnArt Jeans (50gr/160mt) – 15 light blue
YarnArt Jeans (50gr/160mt) – 01 white
YarnArt Jeans (50gr/160mt) – 53 black
You can use analogues that are suitable in size and color. (YarnArt
DOLCE or Himalaya Dolphin Baby)
2. Sewn-on or safety eyes d-10mm
3. White felt discs d-12mm
4. Filler for the toys – I have fiberfill
5. Hook – I have 3,0 for the bear and 2,5 for clothes
6. Splint 45mm and disc d-30mm
7. Needle and strong thread for sewing the details
8. Scissors
9. Buttons for hoodie 4 pieces.

From the above materials, the size of the toy will be 30cm. I use
mixed crocheting method.
The consumption of the main yarn is 1.5 skein.

I use mixed crocheting method. The thread is caught under the
hook in this method, and the pattern of the canvas reminds
crosses. The canvas turns out to be tighter and the offset of the loops
is less considerable.

Cut off the thread, secure and hide the thread ends. Next, I
place the marker thread exactly in the center in front of the leg.
Count 6 stitches to the left and 6 stitches to the right from the
marker thread, accordingly, for the right and for the left leg. You
will crochet the legs in the 6th row of the body in these stitches.

In the 6th row crochet the legs in the marked stitches. Put the
legs to the body so that the marker threads of the legs look at each
other and are pointed at the belly.

Measure the resulting hole and prepare the disc with a splint of
a suitable diameter. Insert it into the body and continue to close
the hole. If you don’t use the splint, then at this point you can finish,
and then sew on the body to the head.

Put the head on the body, the splint is going through the center
of the head, insert the disc and twist the tendrils of the splint, fill
the head. If you don’t use the splint, continue crocheting, and then
sew on the head to the body. At this stage, you can insert the eyes
(if you use safety eyes) between the 10th and 11th rows, the distance
between the eyes is 6 stitches.

Muzzle

Crochet with light lemon yarn.

Assembly and decoration

Insert the long needle to the leg and connect them as close as
possible to each other. Next, take the strong thread suitable in
color to the toy and with small stitches pull the legs together with
the body in the place marked in red in the photo. Give the legs the
shape which you need.

For convenience and symmetrical arrangement of all the details

on the head, I placed the marker thread exactly in the center in
front.
Count 11 rows from the top of the head and pin the muzzle.
Step back 5 rows from the center of the head and pin the ears on
the sides of the head. Be sure that the head is symmetrical on all
sides. Sew on all the details. Sew on the muzzle, previously filling it
a little.

I additionally tighten the muzzle. To do this, insert the needle

in the center of the muzzle, into the lowest point 1, leaving the
thread end, output it to the left in point 2. Lay the thread along the
upper edge of the muzzle and insert the needle on the right into
point 3, output it to the lowest point 1, where you inserted the
needle at first. Tighten the ends of the thread and tie a knot, hide
the thread ends.

Outline the location of the eyes and eyebrows. The eyes are
located between the 10th and 11th rows (counting rows from the top
of the head), at the distance of 6 sc.
Sew on the eyes with white felt circles inserted in advance,
pulling them a little into the head. If you don’t have felt circles,
then you can embroider the whites for the eyes with a white
thread. Embroider the eyebrows. Embroider the nose, the
separating stripe and the smile line on the muzzle with dark brown
thread, as shown in the photo.

With thread attachment fasten the arms to the body in the 5th
row (counting from the head) exactly on the sides of the body. Sew
on the tail from behind.

Hoodie

Crochet with light green yarn, don’t tighten the stitches. I

recommend 3mm hook for the cotton yarn to dress the hoodie freely
on the bear. During the crocheting try on the details to the bear. The
hoodie should be free to dress on it. The detail is crocheted in turning
rows with 1 turning chain at the beginning of each row.

Attach the thread to the second free edge of the hoodie and
crochet sc on it. Next, go to the neck and crochet 24sc, again you need
to reach the center of the front. Crochet the second part of the hood
in the same way. Don`t cut off the thread. Put two parts of the hood
together and connect them on the upper side. Cut off the thread,
secure and hide the thread ends.

Attach the thread to the edge of the hood from behind and
crochet sc a little more than half of the hood by both edges. I
crocheted 11 rows on the hood. Next, go to one edge of the hood and
continue to crochet sc on it until the beginning of the main part of the
hoodie. From this place crochet the buttonholes: (5ch – skip 1sc, 5sc)

Attach the thread to the base of the hood in front and crochet
sc on it`s contour. Crochet the second row along the hood (1sc, 1ch –
skip 1 stitch) – crochet along the contour of the hood. Crochet 130ch
with white yarn and insert it to the skipped stitches of the hood edge.

Put white base of the applique to the hoodie and sew it on. Sew
on the ears and black spots under the eyes. Embroider the nose.

Pants

Crochet with light blue yarn, don’t tighten the stitches.

1. 70ch - to the circle with sl st
2-6. 70sc (5 rows)
7. 60sc, 10ch – skip 10 stitches (70)
8-18. 70sc (11 rows)
19. 65sc, fold the detail in half, skip 32 stitches and crochet
3sl st for both edges.
20. Crochet 32sc on each pant leg.
