European country: France There are many historical monuments in France, the best known is the Eiffel Tower but there are many more like the Louvre which is a palace with more than 800 years, dOrsay museam which is a temple, the Triomphe Arc and many more. The French capital is the city of Paris, many people treat it as the "city of light" because at night the city lights. The architecture of the French began with the first people who started in France and elsewhere in Europe, the Celts, Romans, Greeks, etc. France is the country with more Nobel prizes in literature. This country belongs to the European Union and its currency is the euro, before was the franc. The official language is French. The flag of France is composed by three colors: red, white and blue, the blue represents freedom, red fraternity and white equality.

European country: Germany Germany, officially the Federal Republic of Germany is a country located in Central Europe. It is bordered to the north by the North Sea, Denmark and the Baltic Sea to the east by Poland and the Czech Republic to the south by Austria and Switzerland and the west by France, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands. The territory of Germany covers 357,021 square kilometers and is influenced by a temperate seasonal climate. With 81.8 million inhabitants in January 2010, the country has the largest population among the member states of the European Union and is also home to the third largest population of international worldwide migrants. Country history: A region named Germania inhabited by several Germanic peoples has been known and documented by the Romans before 100 AD. From the tenth century, German territories formed a central part of the Holy Roman Empire, which lasted until 1806. During the sixteenth century, northern Germany became the center of the Protestant Reformation. As a modern nation-state, the country was first unified as a result of the Franco-Prussian War in 1871. In 1949, after the Second World War, Germany was divided into two states, West Germany, officially "the Federal Republic of Germany", and East Germany officially "German Democratic Republic", along the lines of Allied occupation Germany was reunified in 1990. West Germany was a founding member of the European Community (EC) in 1957, which later became the European Union in 1993. The country is part of the Schengen zone and adopted the European currency, the euro, in 1999. Germany is a federal parliamentary republic of sixteen states. The capital is the city of Berlin. It is a great power with the fourth largest economy by nominal GDP - Gross Domestic Product - and the fifth largest in purchasing power parity. It is the second largest exporter and second largest importer of goods.
