The water activated adhesives in Gummed paper Tape penetrate into the fibres of the carton, creating a total bond. As the tapes has become an integral part of the carton this adds considerable strength to the closure as opposed to just a top surface bond of standard packaging tape adhesive.
Tamper Evidence
Gummed Paper Tape cannot be removed from the carton without leaving traces of damage unlike standard packaging tapes which can be removed with out a visible trace. Hence Gummed paper Tape offers clearly visible proof if a packages seal has been tampered with. Specialist tamper evident reinforced tape is also available for increased security protection.
100% Recyclability
Gummed paper Tape is made from renewable natural resources which makes recycling easier. Packaging research associations have all accredited Gummed Paper Tape recyclable, making the environmentally friendly choice for the packaging professional.
Temperature Tolerant

The Combo 55 Shrink Wrapper is the first complete shrink wrapping machine. It seals and shrinks in one operation using centre-fold shrink films with very low energy consumption and comes with some of the most advanced features possible with electronic controls. The film is kept open around the product loading tray. The operator then easily inserts the product and moves it along with the film to the sealing position and brings down the hood to initiate the sealing process. This is followed by the magnetic hood maintaining the sealing position. Hot air is circulated inside the transparent chamber in the hood down position for excellent sealing around the edge of the package.

Industrial Heat Sealing Machines
The Optiseal Sealer can be used close by hand or mounted on a stand which comes complete with a film holder to allow the film to be dispensed on demand. The foot pedal connects to the sealer to provide a hand free sealing operation. In addition to the work stand there is a work table and bag support available that holds the product whilst the film is being sealed. the adjustable bag support enables the operator to make uniform sized bags.

Due to the film being pre-stretched, the film does not neck-down. 8 micron pre-stretched film performs more efficiently than 12-20 micron standard film. Saves operator fatigue as they simply walk around the pallet with the film taut. As most of the stretch has been taken out of the film, the load will remain stable during transit. Up to 50% less film used resulting in up to a 50% cost saving and packaging waste.

SHOCK WATCH
A self adhesive label measuring 100mm x 100mm incorporating a glass tube which activates by turning red when the article to which it has been attached is dropped form above to a pre-determined height. There are five colour coded sensitivities designed to activate at certain drop heights. The Shockwatch sensitivity should be based on product fragility, container cushioning type and design. Protective Sleeving provides a practical, efficient and cost-effective solution to the problems of surface damage to components during manufacture, storage and transit.Available in a range of colour coded sizes, the mesh is flexible enough to mould around irregular shaped items protecting them from knocks and scratches and unlike traditional materials such as wax paper, it can be used again and again. The BXT is the latest generation of battery powered strapping tools. The balanced lightweight design is exceptionally comfortable to use - yet withstands heavy usage in the most demanding applications. Incorporating many advanced features including automatic and semi automatic functions, a new direct drive motor offering an increased tension range and a light setting for polyprop strapping, all controlled via the new digital Touch-Pad controller. These improved operating features result in a tool that is faster and easier to operate, has better process control, more cycles per battery charge and has low maintenance costs. The new BXT models are also powered by an improved lithium ion battery pack that can be charged when convenient to the operator rather than waiting until the battery is fully drained. The new battery also offers an improved 15-30 minute recharging time, up to 50% more cycles compared to NiCad batteries and is more environmentally friendly due to it containing no Cadmium. The new BXT models can also be adapted to use main power with the optional power kit.
