Introduction
Multiphase technology has delivered remarkable improvements in production performance to help the oil and gas industry to extend its operations, address previously insoluble transportation problems and enter progressively more difficult areas. The technology has moved from theory to practical applications in a range of climates, topographical environments and ecological challenges. Business, economic, and technical rewards are there for those who extend the boundaries of the technology but the industry needs access to high quality information to assess the potential benefits and risks. The lessons learnt, modelling techniques developed and practical experiences of users can be of real value to engineers in a range of industries including oil and gas, process, chemicals, mining, water and power industries.

Who should attend?

The conference is designed for everyone engaged in the application, development and research of multiphase technology for the oil and gas industry. It offers particular value to designers, facility and operations engineers, consultants and researchers from operating, contracting, consultancy and technology companies. Applications in oil and gas may also interest engineers from other industries for whom multiphase technology offers novel solutions.

Venue, timing and registration

The Conference is once again being held at the very popular Banff Park Lodge, Banff, Canada. The programme will begin with an early registration breakfast from 8:30 onwards and the Conference will close after a full day on Friday. The technical sessions will start on Wednesday afternoon directly after lunch in the Summit meeting room. The provisional programme will be available shortly. The registration fee includes entrance to all technical sessions proceedings, breakfast, lunch and all refreshment breaks and entrance to both the welcome reception and Conference dinner.

Travel and Getting Around Banff

The major airport is Calgary International. Coaches and vans operate directly to Banff Park Lodge (see www.banffairporter.com or www.calgaryairport.com for details). All major rental car companies are available. The Banff townsite is just 3.94 sq. kilometers, which means it's fairly easy to get around in Banff. Locals often walk and cycle everywhere in town. However, there is all of the transportation amenities available in most cities.

The events are a good way to meet the other delegates and participation is encouraged.

A full page of advertising space in the book and CD version of the proceedings. The cost of each page is 381.88 including VAT. The book is a soft bound volume, produced in Royal Octavo size. Please Read Carefully Payments All payments must be received by BHR Group within 14 days of the invoice being issued, or prior to the event start, whichever is the first date. If payment is not received before the start of the event, you may be refused admission unless you pay by cash or credit card on the first day. If you have problems with the payment date, please advise the organiser as soon as possible. Proof of payment will of course enable attendance. On-line transactions can only be accepted in sterling and are processed by a merchant bank in the United Kingdom. Delivery The 8 North American Multiphase Technology Conference will take place on 20 22 June 2012 and event programmes will be issued not later than 1 week prior to the start of the event. Books and CDs will normally be delivered within 3 weeks of the order or within 3 weeks of the event, whichever is the later date. The specifications and delivery schedule of other items will be according to the terms of contract agreed with BHR Group prior to payment. Cancellations. A full refund (minus a 50 administration fee) will be made for cancellations received on or before 21 days prior to the start of the event. No refund will be made for cancellations 21 days or less prior to the event start. However, substitutions can be made at any time.
