How many Bravais lattices are there in two dimensions? The face-centered cubic cell may be referred to the rhombohedral cell. Using a sketch show the relationship between the two cells. Write each translation vectors of facecentered lattices. Draw a 2-D virtual crystal that is square lattice with two different particles. Two particles are located at (0,0) and (1/2, 1/2), respectively.
