The Speech of Introduction

John C. Maxwell

Harold McAlindon once said Do not follow where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and you can leave a trail. Being supportive to the idea, John C. Maxwell truly understands the importance of leadership in today business context. He emphasizes that everything rises and falls on leadership. Therefore, today John C. Maxwell will share with us what he has done to grow leaders through his core principle the 5 levels of leadership Lets take look at what makes John C. Maxwell a worlds top leader. Being born and raised in a Christian family, he was granted the passion to pursue Master degree of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry. For 14 years, he has led churches in Indiana, Ohio and California which has also given him the opportunity to lead people into goodness and success. However, from his standpoint, that was just not enough. In another word, teaching about leadership or publishing more than 19million copies of his book is not enough. Thats why he also created 2 non-profit organizations that successfully train more than 5 million leaders worldwide. If leadership was a hot piece of iron, John C. Maxwell would be an experienced blacksmith. Additionally, because leadership is visual, leaders cannot set people where they have never been themselves. So you, as a good leader, want to help people from where they are, not from where you are. If you succeed in doing so (you grow them to higher level of leadership), they will give you more Dao 1

respect, more of their effort and more willingness to work for you. Then they can start helping others by duplication. Thats John C. Maxwells core principle of leadership. People dont care how much you know until they know how much you care (Theodore Roosevelt). True leadership comes from knowledge, thoughtfulness and sympathy. If you want to grow your business, you want to follow John C. Maxwells 5 levels of leadership. I hope you all enjoy the speech!
