II. RATIONALE:
Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 942, the Nutrition Act of the Philippines the
National Nutrition Council (NNC) leads the observe of Nutrition Month.

With the theme"Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain,


Karapatan Natin!". This theme emphasizes the importance of healthy diets and access to
nutritrious food as fundamental rights.

III. OBJECTIVES:

1. To increase awareness on the importance of nutrition and food security.


2. To encourage learners and families to adopt healthy eating habits.
3. To involve the school and community in activities that promote the right to sufficient and
nutritious food.
4. To integrate nutrition education across subjects through various contests and interactive
events.
