Agreement with Too/So and
Either/Neither
Có hai loại đồng tình trong Tiếng Anh : Đồng tình khẳng định và đồng tình
phủ định
Đồng tình khẳng định là việc bày tỏ sự đồng tình , đồng ý về một lời khẳng
định được đưa ra trước đó. Ta sử dụng với "So hoặc Too".
Đồng tình phủ định là việc bày tỏ sự đồng tình, đồng ý với một lời phủ định
được đưa ra trước đó. Ta sử dụng với "Either hoặc Neither".
1. Đồng tình khẳng định với "So"
Cấu trúc:
So + trợ động từ + S (Chủ ngữ ). (Nếu câu khẳng định cho trước
sử dụng động từ thường )
So + tobe + S . (Nếu câu khẳng định cho trước sử dụng động từ to
be)
So + modal verb + S . (Nếu câu khẳng định cho trước sử dụng động
từ khuyết thiếu)
Ví dụ:
A: I am a student. A: I like Pop music.
B: So am I. B. So do I.
A: I can speak English
B: So can I
2. Đồng tình khẳng định với "Too"
Cấu trúc:
S + trợ động từ, too. (Nếu cấu khẳng định cho trước sử dụng động từ
thường)
S + tobe , too. (Nếu câu khẳng định cho trước sử dụng động từ tobe)
S + modal verb , too. (Nếu câu khẳng định cho trước sử dụng động
từ khuyết thiếu)
Ví dụ:
She is beautiful. Her sister is, too.
He forgot the manager's phone number. His wife did, too.
She could play soccer. Her friend could, too
3. Đồng tình phủ định với "Either"
Cấu trúc:
S + trợ động từ + not , either (Nếu câu phủ định cho trước sử dụng
động từ thường )
S + tobe + not, either. (Nếu câu phủ định cho trước sử dụng động từ
tobe )
S + modal verb + not, either. (Nếu câu phủ định cho trước sử dụng
động từ khuyết thiếu)
Ví dụ:
My mom isn't at home. My mother isn't, either.
I didn't bring umbrella. She didn't, either.
He can’t sing. I can’t, either
4. Đồng tình phủ định với "Neither"
Cấu trúc:
Neither + trợ động từ + S. (Nếu câu phủ định cho trước sử dụng
động từ thường )
Neither + to be + S. (Nếu câu phủ định cho trước sử dụng động từ
to be )
Neither + modal verb + S. (Nếu câu phủ định cho trước sử dụng
động từ khuyết thiếu)
Ví dụ:
I am not a doctor. Neither are they.
He doesn't know the answer. Neither does she.
She could not swim. Neither could he.
