Chapter 1: Knowing Our Numbers
Key Concepts:
Natural Numbers: Counting numbers starting from 1 (1, 2, 3, ...).

Formation of Numbers: Arranging digits to form the largest and smallest numbers.

•Divisibility Tests: Rules to check divisibility by 2, 3, 5, 9, etc.

a) Movie Summary (150–200 words):
Write a brief summary of the story in your own words. Mention the main plot, important events, and
the moral of the story.
b) Character Reflection:
Which character did you like the most and why?
(Answer in about 100–120 words. Support your opinion with examples from the movie.)
c) Role Reversal – “If I were…”
Imagine you are one of the main characters (Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, or Ravan). What would
you have done differently if you were in that character’s place? Why?

d) Letter Writing:
Write a letter as Lord Ram to your brother Bharat, advising him on how to rule the kingdom with
justice, love, and responsibility.
e) Notice Writing:
Prepare a formal notice to be put on the walls of Ayodhya, announcing the grand return of Lord Ram.
Mention the date, time, and preparations.
f) Diary Writing – War Memories:
Write a week-long diary (7 entries, 50–60 words each) from the point of view of any one character
(e.g., Hanuman, Lakshman, Sita, Ravan) during the war period.
Start with “Dear Diary,” and describe daily experiences, thoughts, emotions, and major events.
