Graduation Lilas update

First 10 alumni to register get free hotel room contact Bruce Delaney when you get the email announcement. Paper invites to be mailed next week Complete agenda for session thru graduation being developed now. Dinner at Lilas on Thursday for class & alumni. Burl will likely be at activities Friday cocktail party starts at 5:30 pm at the Paramount Hotel Yearling reserved for noon but may get bumped hour earlier for meeting time

Public-Private partnerships for conservation (Field trip to Plum Creek site) - Deb/Greg
Field trip starting at 8 am from hotel parking lot. Carpool to the site on Saturday morning. Then drive the loop road and stop at different points to discuss highlights. 10 Commitments of Board MembershipSuggestions:

Need some kind of overview of what time & responsibilities are expected. Beware of stating time expected for volunteering often the stated minimum becomes a maximum in peoples mind. September session should include addressing the class so they have a better idea what goes on and what they will be asked to participate in. Emphasize networking opportunities and ability to stay involved in NRLI activities with graduating class. Develop a mission statement to share with folks. Bob Tietz will send a draft and send out. BOD members are to add to this. Then Ask current class what they would do or what they want to see the NRLI alumni do. Then Synthesize these together to build the best new vision for the NRLI alumni BOD
