STP ABOVEGROUND R.C.C TANK
Description of item Unit
Excavation in all types of soil viz. sand, clay,blackcotton,slushy and marshy soil,
& soft & hard murum etc. by manual/mechanical means (excluding soft/hard
rock) for footings, steps, plinth beams,masonary & equipment foundations, pile
caps, drains,trenches, manholes, underground tanks,etc. including shoring, cum
strutting, dewatering where required (until foundation work is complete). Item
also includes carting,stacking if required by Owner, spreading, leveling and
compacting /consolidating surplus materials within 1 Km. lead within Owner's
premises. From average ground level to including 3m depth.
Providing and laying dry trap rubble stone soling 23 cm thk. (compacted
thickness), including hand packing, ramming, compacting etc. complete. Voids &
inters to be filled with approved filler material like Stone Chips/ stone grit etc.
The voids should not to exceed 20% .(The rate shall be for compacated cum
thickness). including royalties as applicable all complete as per specfication.
Contractor shall pay all royalties and other payments or compensation (if any)
for getting stone sand gravel clay or other materials required for the Works or
Temporary Works or any of them. Submit roytalities challan to client
Providing and laying cement concrete using specified graded coarse aggregate of
approved quality at various locations etc. machine mixing, consolidating with
rammer/ vibrators,finishing, curing, providing scaffolding, staging etc. as per cum
specification complete,as directed and instructed by Engineer. (Form work shall

foundations, walls, plinth beams, flooring, ramps etc.
Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete using specified graded coarse
aggregate of approved quality at various locations etc. machine mixing,
consolidating with rammer/ vibrators,finishing, curing, providing scaffolding,
staging etc. as .for footings, foundations, pile caps, rafts, pedestals, columns,
beams, walls, staircases, trenches, manhole pit, culverts, drains, sumps, pits, cum
equipment foundations, grade slabs etc. including making of expansion,
construction, control, isolation joints, encasing of pipes etc. incuding the cost of
centering, shuttering .
Transporting and placing in position in RCC & pavements works steel
reinforcements bars (TMT) of Grade Fe 500 conforming to IS : 1786 (including
fixing binding wire) as per drawing and specifications including supply of all types kg
of materials excluding Structure Steel required for all heights and depths
including carting, cleaning, cutting stacking, bending, tying, etc. complete as
specified and directed
Disposal/carting away surplus excavated earth/debris etc. outside the Owner's
premises as directed and instructed by Engineer/Owner. Disposal shall not be
measured in terms of truck loads but measured in terms of cubic meters of
excavation and dismantling carried out and measured under relevant items cum
minus actual back fill quantities as measured. (Contractor shall absolve owner
from all liabilities that could arise due to disposal of material outside Owner's
premises.)
Water Proofing For Sump Tank/STP /water retaining Tank, Providing and applying
water swellable-basic polymer-hydrophilic waterstops Supercast SW20 at all sqm
construction joints, providing Internal side protective coating as per Tender
specifications.
