POSSESSIVE CASE
● It is used to identify possession.
● There is something that belongs to somebody.
Eg:
This is Penelope. This is Penelope`s car.
Rules:
● Add `s
Eg: Tina`s house.
The dog`s tail.
● Names ending in “s” only add `.
Eg: Carlos` bike.
● More than one owner. Add `s on the last name only.
Eg: Lia, Bia and Maria`s house.
● We use of with two objects.
Eg: The door of the house is brown. (Not the house`s door)
Exception:
● Names from the Bible. Use the … of.
Eg: The power of God. (Not God`s power)
The law of Moses. (Not Moses` law)

Wh-Question
Whose – It identifies the owner of something.
Eg: Whose ball is this? (Pedro)
This is Pedro`s ball.
Note: The noun can be omitted.
Eg: Whose ball is this? (Pedro)
