track every minute of
every day!

Teacher Instructions
• Record data in 20 minute intervals.
(Example 8:40-9:00)
• Circle the letter that corresponds with the
behaviors.
• Count the number of total recorded
behaviors for in seat (S) and divide by
number of S’s circled. (Example 25
opportunities divided by 17 circled S’s equals 68% of
opportunities tracked exhibiting in seat behavior. )
• Do the same thing for “On Task”.
This will allow you to track baseline behavior
in order to write an IEP goal.
Example IEP Goal: By (date), _______will
exhibit in seat behavior ( sitting in chair,
asking permission to leave seat) in 80% of
opportunities tracked measured weekly by
teacher made data sheet.
(P.S) Always write goal from the positive
(what you want the students to be able to do!
