Garden Centre Sales - This position involves selling trees, shrubs, evergreens and roses to customers as well as
stocking, watering, pruning plant material and keeping the garden centre clean and tidy. Providing plant selection, advice on care and planting and providing landscaping ideas to customers is also involved in this position. Key requirements for the position are a thorough knowledge of hardy trees, shrubs and evergreens as well as strong customer service skills and physical strength.

Perennial Sales - This position involves selling perennials, stocking, watering, pruning plant material and keeping the
perennial area clean and tidy. Providing plant selection, advice on care/planting and landscaping are also involved in this position. Key requirements for the position are a thorough knowledge of perennials as well as strong customer service skills and physical strength.

Annual Sales - This position involves selling annuals to customers. Stocking, watering, cleaning plant material and
keeping the annual area clean and tidy are also required. Providing plant selection, advice on care and planting and container gardening ideas to customers are also involved in this position. Key requirements for the position are a thorough knowledge of annuals as well as strong customer service skills and physical strength.

Cashier - This position involves processing customer sales at the cash register as well as keeping the front end of the
store neat and tidy. Cashiers must have cash and/or computer experience preferably in a retail environment with exceptional customer skills.

Customer Service Assistant/Garden Centre Assistant - These positions involve providing any assistance required
to customers and sales staff including packing and carrying purchases, stocking and pricing product, etc. Excellent customer service skills and physical strength are key requirements.

Cappuccino Bar - This position involves providing service to customers requiring hot and cold beverages and
snacks. It also involves keeping the cappuccino bar clean at all times, organized and well stocked. Excellent people skills are required for this position and food industry experience (especially coffee house) would be an asset.

Water Gardening - This position involves customer sales and service for the watergardening area. This includes
ponds, fountains, water plants, birdbaths, statuary & hard goods. Knowledge or strong interest in watergardening is required as well as physical strength.

Outside Operations - This position involves general labour and construction as well as customer loading of bulk
landscape products using a Bobcat. Responsibilities could also include being part of the delivery and planting crew. Physical strength and customer service skills are key requirements.
