Current Synoptic situation:-

❖ The monsoon trough now passes through Bikaner, Kota, Seoni, Durg, Bhawanipatna, Gopalpur
and thence to east-southeastwards to central Bay of Bengal.

Light to moderate rain or Thundershower has occurred at a few places over the districts of Odisha.
The chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms are: Rajgangpur (Sundargarh) 5, Khaira (Balasore) 4, Muruda
(Mayurbhanj) 3, Daspalla (Nayagarh) 3, Betanati (Mayurbhanj) 2, Khajuripada (Kandhamal) 2, Barmul
(Nayagarh) 2, Jenapur (Jajpur) 2, Dhamnagar (Bhadrak) 2, Satyabadi (Puri) 2, Danagadi (Jajpur) 2,
Akhuapada (Bhadrak) 2, Salepur (Cuttack) 2, Joda (Keonjhargarh) 1, Bonth (Bhadrak) 1, Binjharpur (Jajpur)

The highest maximum temperature of 34.4°C was recorded at JHARSUGUDA and the lowest minimum temperature
of 21.0°C was recorded at PHULBANI in the plains of Odisha.
