Tutorial: How to make a pleated skirt

Hello everyone, well here again hehe I was encouraged to make this tutorial because it is useful and basic.
for all cosplay, especially school uniforms, I hope it helps a lot ^^

Materials

1 meter of fabric (my favorite is linen milano but it can be any depending on what
they need
A 15 cm zipper
3 Pins and threads
(to see the images bigger, click on them)

Step 1
First we take measurements of the waist and the length of the skirt you want, to proceed to
cut the fabric calculate the width of your waist plus how many pleats your skirt will have
add 9 cm for each board and a separation of 3 cm between each board and this way you will have the
total to cut the rectangle with which the tables will be made.

Do not forget
For each person, the amount of fabric varies according to their measurements, also when cutting the fabric.
they must surf so that it doesn't run.
Add 3 cm to make the hem of the skirt.

Step 2
I am assembling the tables, in my case I chose the 'found' tables because I believe they
they look better but they can also do the simple tabling, don't forget that between each
There should be a table my case uses 3 cm but if you want more gaps it is recommended.
2cm. Once finished with the table, iron it so it looks like the image of the
right.
Step 3
To cut the waistband that will be attached to the skirt, use your waist measurement and add.
7 cm which will be used to place the clips.
Once the waistband is cut, start sewing it to the top of the skirt where it is.
the seams of the panels as shown in the picture.
Step 4
Our skirt would almost be ready once the waistband is put on, then add the zipper, and add the
brooch, now don't forget to make the hem with the 3 cm added to the length.
The hem is the double that the skirt has at the bottom so that seams are not visible.
Once this is done, iron again to flatten the hem and this will be the final result.

Tutorial on pleated skirt and panel skirt

I have done the tutorial with a piece of cutting paper so you can see well how to do it.

PLEATED SKIRT
1. It is measured in a rectangle 3 and 6 cm alternating: 3-6-3-6-3-6-3-6-3... (the rectangle if it is
for a skirt it should be three times the width of the waist and the length should be whatever you choose for it
the skirts, but if you want more volume you can add three times the hip and apart from making
tables then gather to fit the size of the waist). The measurement of the tables
It can vary depending on how wide you want them, that measurement is the first one I provided 3
cm (which can be 4, 5, 6... however many you want) but the second measurement always has to
be twice as much as the first (so that there is enough fabric and the boards fit well). I have
marked the measurements on the paper with a pencil, on the fabric you would put a pin

In the following photo, I will show you in which direction to make the tables, it doesn't matter which way.
right than to the left, but pay attention to where the arrows are.

You have to take brand A to the next brand A

Remaining like this (to keep it in place, put a pin at the top) On the skirts
Lolita only holds the board at the top, but for the schoolgirl skirts, you need to
Close the table down to the bottom and then iron it with steam to shape it.

Doing the whole strip would look something like this.

PLEATED SKIRT

The principle is similar to that of a pleated skirt, but we will start by marking the middle of the
rectangle
Then 3 cm will be marked on each side of that mark (4, 5, 6 ... the width of the board that
you would choose). From there you will measure the other measurement twice but marking it, and
twice the width of the table, placing the corresponding marks, like this

And to finish, the only thing you have to do is assemble the tables as in the skirt of
tables, but one to one side and the other to the other (one table on the left and one table
to the right, or vice versa)
Good afternoon!!

... guys welcome, as one of my first jobs to publish and that I consider
the most important thing in the world of female cosplay is THE SKIRT ^_^... all of them
we suffer and do not know how to make the typical skirt of uniforms or different ones
characters xD... so here I leave you the first type of basic skirt....

MATERIALS:
scissors
-thread (will depend on the color of the fabric)
-gabardine fabric in the desired color 1m (for a size S. this will depend on our
body)

now to make *--*...

1.- we take our fabric and fold it in half, we cut it to the length we want, in
In this case, I cut it to 60 cm long... remember that you should always cut a little.
but to make the hems at the bottom. e.g. if we want a length of 54, cut the fabric to 60
for the hems XD

2.-Now to make the tables we must measure the width of each one, leaving the
table/background/table and with that measurement we will fold and iron very well to later
sew them *--*... here I leave you a model but later I will show you on fabric
3.- Once the pleated tables of the entire skirt are done, we proceed to sew each one of them.
they are not even a quarter of them because then the effect of it would not be seen
tabled

4.-now to make the waistband of the skirt, we will take the length of the skirt and cut,
we will fold and cover the top of the skirt

5.- Lastly, we will place a button or a zipper depending on everyone's preference.
