Mr. Taylors story

William Taylor remembers his life in Australia and his workplace very well; he also has a very good memory of his childhood and his early life, his family back home and claims not to have had any major problems in his life neither in Australia nor in Canada, where he now holds a job as a sales manager. After the medical examination, the doctors said that there was nothing apparent that drove him to the point of forgetting who his wife and his 8 year old boy are. Taylor reacted extremely surprised when his wife and his son knocked on his door after coming back from Australia, because he did not recognized or remembered any of them; he thought the woman was crazy and trying to take money out of him. So he called the police, and after a quick investigation, it was made clear that William Taylor was in deed married with Kayla Taylor and had a 8 year-old son called Vincent. When questioned by the officer, Kayla said she had to leave Canada, bringing her kid and leaving her husband because they had a huge fight, where William attempted to kill her after finding out that his wife was having an affair with his best friend, Ken Jones. Taylor also apparently forgot who Jones is, and wasnt even able to recognize his friend among a line of four, made by the police to see if Taylor was familiar with any of the people in the line. Taylor insisted over and over that he had never seen the woman and the child before, and said he did not know how to explain the papers that prove their relationship. To make a long story short, Taylor married his wife 15 years before, in Australia, and they had a perfectly normal life until the 13th year of their marriage, when they started to experience really stressful arguments in a greater and greater frequency. Kayla was clearly unhappy with the situation, but was afraid to ask for the divorce, since she had no income, and Taylors new well paid job would surely be used by him as an argument, he said he would claim that she is only trying to take his money. After living 2 years in what seemed hell, Taylor found his wife in bed with his best friend, and swore he was going to kill her. In a life threatening situation, Kayla made her bags and went back to Australia, to look for shelter in her parents house until the situation calmed down. After 5 months, she goes back to apologize and finds that her husband claim not to know her. When Taylor was questioned by the police, he claimed to be a successful and single sales manager, who had moved to Canada for seeking job opportunities. He could remember his whole life, but was desperate and insisted he didnt have any kind of relation to those three people that were presented to him on that Sunday afternoon.
