However, researches on them are still very limited. In order to resolve these problems, the high resolution seismic method have been applied. Based on using seismic stratigraphy and sequence stratigraphy, the high resolution seismic data were interpreted. In this paper, the author present some new results of seismic stratigraphy analysis of the high resolution seismic data, in order to define the sequence boundaries, characteristics and distrisbution of Quaternary sediments within the continental shelf of Vietnam.

SUMARY Effects of wellbore deviation on cuttings bed formation in cuttings transport and cuttings bed anti-sliding velocity Pham Duc Thien, University of Mining and Geology Cuttings transport is important work and always accompany in drilling oil and gas wells. With the purpose increase wells useful and togerther with modern technology, the high angle and horizontal wells more and more are wide used. When the wellbore angle is changed, the cutting transport mechanism is also changed cause by forming cutting bed in the wellbore. The results of studying and detail review, the author proposed three segments wellbore deviation with different properties are as follows: a vertical segment, all the cuttings be suspended; a transit segment, forming a moving cutting bed, and a horizontal segment, forming a moving cutting bed and a stationary cutting bed. At once, by using continuity equations and force balance equations wich acting on the cutting bed, since then propose anti-sliding down condition of cutting bed and minimum anti-sliding velocity of dispersed suspension layer in transit segment.

SUMMARY Study and Synthesis of Catalysts for Treatment of CO in exhaust gases Pham Trung Kien, Pham Xuan Nui University Mining and Geology In this paper, 10%CuO/TiO2, 10%CuO/-Al2O3 materials were synthesized for treatment of CO in exhaust gases. Physico-chemical properties of catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET Adsorption and SEM. The catalyst activity and the effects of temperature (in the range of 100-300oC) on the conversion were investigated. 10%CuO/TiO2 has been shown to be the best for complete conversion of CO to CO2. It can completely convert CO to CO2 at 2000C.

SUMMARY Le Thi Hoai Nam, Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Tran Quang Vinh, Nguyen Thi Thanh Loan, Nguyen Thi Nhiem, Tran Thi Ngoc Dung Ag/TiO2 nano-antibacterial material was prepared using sodium citrate as a reducing agent. The size and shape of the nano-materials were characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results showed that the average particle size of TiO2 among these nano-materials was around 80120 nm, and the average particle size of nano-silver was around 10 nm. Formation of Ag nano-particles on the surface of TiO2 was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy, and the antibacterial activity was also investigated. By the antibacterial activity study, it is noted that the role of Ag on the growth inhibition rates against E. coli was evident when compare Ag/TiO2 nanocomposite with commercial TiO2 under UV irradiation and in the absence of UV. The study results showed that antimicrobial effect was 100 % as the initial concentration of E. coli was 1.1 x 106 cfu/ml and contact time was 10 minutes with the content of nanosized materials being more than 0.5 wt%.
