Dear Supporter
This year marks the 22nd year of the SS Philip and James Golf
Society and, as the new organising committee, we hope that you
will help to make it the most successful one yet by signing up to
participate in this years charity fundraising event. Great thanks
must go to John McManus and his supporters for the fantastic work
that has been done over the past 21 years we hope to build on
that work by continuing to develop the work of the Society.
We are supporting two charities this year, BECHAR and SPORTS
TRAIDER you can find more details on these worthwhile causes
on the websites: prebendcentre.org.uk and sportstraider.org.uk
This year you will have even more chances to win a trophy and were
also introducing Hole-in-One competitions, which should really
whet your appetite.
The fabulous prizes up for grabs are:
A cash prize of 5,000
A 4-day (3-night) golf holiday for two at the 5-star
Le Meridien Penina Hotel & Championship Golf Club
in Portugal (prize includes flights, bed and breakfast
accommodation, car hire and golf fees)
2 days golf with accommodation (dinner, bed and
breakfast) for 4 at The Belfry
A set of Callaway Razr X Irons
We are also running a Team Competition with prizes for all
four team members and no extra charge for entry!
Our prices this year will be:
Round of golf 20 per person/80 per team of 4
Junior golf 7.50 per person
3-course dinner 20 per person Junior dinner 7.50 per
person
Note: handicap maximum allowance men = 24; handicap maximum
allowance women =48.
