HEALTH AROUND THE WORLD
With so many food choices these days, how can we make sure we stay healthy? One
way is to take a look around the world. Japan is a good example because Japanese
people normally live long and healthy lives. The Japanese eat until they are only 80
percent full. They also try to include a lot of different colors in their meals, so their
bodies get everything they need to be healthy. India is known for using lots of different
spices. These have positive effects on the body. If you love vegetables, then you might
want to try Greek food. Greek people eat a lot of salads, often with feta cheese. Too
much cheese is not good, but feta is eaten in very small squares and doesn't have
much fat. This is helpful if you want to lose weight. Another country you may not have
thought of is Ethiopia. The traditional flatbread there is known to have lots of health
benefits. So next time you go food shopping, keep these tips in mind!
