The extremely mild winter and warm months of February and March made calling in the long beards a challenge. Not to mention the bugs, including ticks were out in full force! With all that being said we really cant complain. We killed 18 birds on camera including an eastern Brad Clay killed in the last week of the season with Clay Forst of the Stuart Ranch as seen in the picture above. Final Descent Outdoors will be airing this last years episodes on the Communicomm Cable Service out of the Lake Texoma area starting in June of 2012. The First Baptist Church Durant, OK channel 13 will be airing the episodes every MondayFriday at 2:30pm and on Saturdays at 9:00am and 1:30pm. PRO STAFFER HIGHLIGHT: JUSTIN JAMES Justin James is the lone pro staer for Final Descent that is not living in the state of Oklahoma. Though Justin is a a native to Oklahoma, barely. Justin grew up in the small town of Texhoma, Oklahoma. Texhoma sits on the Oklahoma and Texas line in the panhandle of Oklahoma. Justin grew up shing and hunting quail and pheasant. Justin became an avid deer hunter in high school and has built a reputation for being a big buck hunter. Justin currently resides in Wheeler, Texas where he is a school teacher. A great asset that Justin brings to the Final Descent Outdoors team is his access to great hunting in Oklahoma and Texas. Yearly Justin has lots of tags to ll between both states. and Oklahoma creates a lot of challenges, one being not a lot of trees. Justin has become an expert at hunting on the ground with either his Ross Crave Bow or his favorite rie, a .257 Roberts. Justin is married and enjoys hunting with his wife Jennifer. Justin lmed his wife Jennifer killing a great western Oklahoma buck this year. That kill will air this fall on the Pursuit Channel.
