Repucom to establish local office and operations in Brazil

New York, 16 May 2012 - Repucom (www.repucom.net), an RSMG Insights company, today announced its expansion into the Brazilian market opening a wholly-owned office in Sao Paolo. Operating as Repucom Brazil, the office will launch a comprehensive sports research service by early June. Through our local operation, Brazilian companies will be able to access the same world-class products and services that we currently deliver to leading brands, rights holders, agencies and broadcasters across 18 offices internationally, Paul Smith, CEO of Repucom, said. We feel that the combination of our research products, globally-accepted media methodologies, automated image recognition software and sophisticated online reporting tools will provide the Brazilian sports market with the veracity of commercial data and insights that this fast-growing sector requires. Brazil accounts for about half of the entire Latin American sports research market volume and, with the region set to play a central role in global sports business over the coming years by hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games, Repucom is ideally positioned to increase its activity in this key global market.
