Hinata?! Three stars that baffles Anna In the clubroom, Chikai comments that it is quite unexpected that they have a mangaka high schooler. Anna exclaims that it is indeed an interesting theme for their photography but when they asked him if he wants to, he refused. Nanoka explains thatHinata is a gloomy person who hates attracting attention. Putting her head on the table, Anna laments about the possibility of Hinata changing his mind. Nanoka asks Anna why does she feel that Hinata is really a good theme and could it be that she has fallen for him. Anna quickly exclaims it isnt so for she is only thinking of really want to take his picture and thats all there is to it. Nanoka doesnt seem too convinced by Annas reason. Chikai sheepishly smiles to stop the argument and tells them that tomorrow, there will be a Kyugi Taikai [ball game contest/ like sports day but only ball related games] and it is the photography club is in charge to recording it. So, how about taking some pictures of that first? The girls are puzzled about this that Chikai tells them that the pictures will be put in the graduation album and there might be other times/ocassions when they will be asked to take pictures. Anna becomes sad and mutters that it is already Kyugi Taikai tomorrow. Suddenly, Aya opens the door and calls out to the other two girls. She tells them the good news that Hinata has agreed to model for them. Anna exclaims in surprise if its true. Nanoka cannot believe it since she thought that Hinata would absolutely not agree to it. Holding up her arms, Anna happily says that its great and says her thanks to Hinata. Aya tells her to wait for there is a condition. Anna froze and becomes surprise when Aya tells her that Hinata wants Anna to be his model for his manga. Anna puts down her arms and goes, Eh? Aya explains that Hinata is drawing a last minute draft [of his manga] but he doesnt quite understand a girls feelings that he had a writers block so he wants to ask Anna about it. Though, of course, it is no problem if you refuse. So, what do you think? Aya is shock as she thinks, What? Huh? Im going to be a model?!

At a restaurant, Anna together with Nanoka and friends have all gathered for the interview. Hinata looks somewhat dumbfound when Anna tells him her biodata-type of introduction. Im Koshiro Anna. (15) Birthday is on March 10. Pisces. My family consists of my parents and a squirrel named Coco. My height is 158 cm. Regarding my weight, Ill just leave it to your imagination. My eye vision is 1.5 on both eyes. My friends would always say and scold me for making people very irritable!! Standing up with her arm raised, sparkling Anna says, Ill be under your care. Aya just smiles at Anna while Nanoka comments that Anna is quite highly spirited. Blushing, Anna says that it is because she is really happy to be a model for a manga for the girls in shounen manga are very cute, have a very nice body figure and are very popular. I unexpectedly can become that kind of girl-- Hinata nervously says that it isnt definite that he can fully satisfy her expectations. Nanoka comments that Hinata is quite strange for he is planning to also use the name Anna for his character. Hinata starts sketching and says that this is how the character looks like. Hinata draws a character that looks like Anna. Anna loves it and comments that Hinata drew it so cutely. Aya asks about the lead characters. Hinata tells her that it is on the other page, one page before that page. Hinata says that the right one, light haired guy is the lead character while the left one, dark haired guy is the love rival. The lead character is Kyouto [ which can also be Kanato/Kanata but the Japanese words are too small to confirm which is which ^^;], a young boy who is only enthusiastic yet an expert in soccer. The rival is Namikaze [ or Hafu] who seems to be able to do everything, the soccer clubs trump card and popular among the girls. Anna is amused upon seeing the two characters because the two are very much like Sou and Hinata.

Anna is surprised when Hinata tells her that just like the model character, they are all childhood friends, too. Its because the character is very much like Koshiro-chan that I want to hear out your train of thoughts. Anna happily says that theres no problem at all and what kind of story is it. Hinata tells her that generally it is about two guys who dream of going out together to become famous in the whole country. Anna happily encourages them to gambatte/do their best. The three are childhood friends

who grew up together but because someone [Namikaze] suddenly confessed [to Anna], from then on, the threes relationship has begun to change. Then, to Annas horror, Kyouto punches Namikaze and calls him stupid [for destroying everything?]. Kyouto declares that he will go to Tokyo for he wants his own playing technique to become more amazing. It is a youth story of the times when there is also quarrelling and also chasing ones dream. Anna seems to become gloomy and thinks that it is that kind of story. Hinata closes his sketchbook and says that he doesnt want to dillydally so hell start to ask the questions. Koshiro-chan, you like Nagase-kun, right? Why did you dump him? What are you thinking [/feeling] when he confessed to you? Could it be that you dont feel a little bit happy about it? From today on, what kind of relationship do you plan on dealing with him? Anna is gloomy and shock by the barrage of questions. While Hinata continues to ask if for instance, Nagase-kun.., Aya quickly shouts for Hinata to stop, then she asks if Anna is alright. Looking somewhat ill, Anna says that shes fine and it is only that she cannot cope up with Hinata being a tsukkomi* who continuously asked her things while shes taking it all in. [*tsukkomi is the straight man in a manzai play. I think Anna is saying that Hinata is being a tsukkomi who reprimands her as boke, the stupid one, for her mistakes.]Hinata starts to flip through his sketchbook and asks if there is anywhere where it seems that there is a tsukkomi and is there a contradiction in the story. Anna exclaims that she isnt referring about a tsukkomi in the story but rather, what he told her is totally the same with her experience. And, it seems that there is some misunderstanding. The one I like is Hinata. Hinata blushes and goes !?. Nanoka looks dubious at Anna and says that in the end, Anna does like Hinata and whats good about him.

Flustered, Anna corrects it by saying that it isnt Hinata-kun but her childhood friend, Hinata, and she feels that she had enough with this misunderstanding. Hinata comments that it is really the same for Anna has another childhood friend. Anna says that is right, Hinata went to high school in Tokyo so Hinata only sees her and Sou. Even if Sou is also important and also my childhood friend, but, because I like Hinata, so Hinata is comparatively more

important and it isnt just a simple thing.. Anna is surprised when Hinata says, So thats it. Hinata starts to mutter to himself that is why there is a dispute because the leading girl, as a childhood friend, views the two guys as very important [to her]. Even if a goddess-type of heroine likes an inconspicuous kingly [/happy type not easily depressed type] protagonist, a kingly person has his own kingly reasons and no matter what era, one also needs..this and that, that and this.. Nanoka looks aghast as she mutters that otaku/nerd guy is quite scary. Aya tells the others that they should leave since Hinata has gone into his creative mode. While walking together in the streets, Aya says that regarding their photo shoot, it is better for them to do it after Hinata finishes his last minute draft because he looks better in that picture during the original draft. While Aya is telling Nanoka about the other stages of drawing the manga like the drawing and inking, Anna is busy wondering why Hinata would think that she likes Sou and is it because he doesnt know of Hinatas existence. Then, Nanoka sighs in relief that Anna fundamentally likes Hinata for she thought that the one Anna likes is Sou. Anna couldnt believe that Nanoka also thinks that way, too. Pointing at Anna, Nanoka tells her to recall over what she has been doing lately. Everyday you are saying Sou and you would also be angry, happy or cry over Sou. Like that, Hinata-kun himself would also misunderstand. Anna recalls what she has been doing: 1. takes a picture of herself and Sou then sends it to Hinata, 2. after being told by Sou of wanting to keep a distance, she would go sobbing to Hinata, and 3. she snubs Hinatas birthday but would be overly excited over Sous birthday to the point of calling Hinata and telling him that she wants to make Sou happy. Anna looks horrified as she wonders, Wha..what [air]plane am I on? I couldnt believe that is how I treated the person I like. [It is a bit small but it seems Aya is also telling Nanoka to reflect on what she has also been doing lately.] Anna thinks, Ah, but why would Hinata lately contact me quite eagerly.. During spring break, the times when he would contact me is pretty much zero.. I dont understand. Geez, I totally do not understand what Hinata is thinking!!!

In school, during the Kyugi Taikai for the first year, some students are playing volleyball. Scowling Anna is looking at her cellphone. She wonders what to do and

regarding this, she ought to ask Hinata himself. But how am I going to ask it. Anna imagines herself shyly saying, What do you think, regarding me? but thinks that it impossible since she finds it very disgusting [to say it that way]. Then, some girls call out to Anna and ask if she is the one who is going to record the event and how about taking their picture. Anna says okay and takes their picture. Anna laughs over the pose they made. The girls thank her and ask her what she is doing in that corner when she should be taking pictures of the guys who are currently competing. This somewhat made Anna become tense. She looks at the side to see that Sou has scored a goal. The other girls comment that Sou is amazing and hes in the volleyball club. Still looking at Sou who is congratulated by his teammates, Anna thinks that during the inter-class competition, she can only stay at the corner because the center of attraction in class is Sou. Anna then unconsciously takes Sous picture [but she doesnt seem to be looking in the viewfinder]. Anna freaks out as to what picture she is taking. The three girls exclaim if Anna just took Sous picture. They want a copy for each of them after it is developed. Anna is totally shock as they left. She becomes gloomy and wonders what she should do if Sou learns about this and how is he going to scold her. Suddenly, her cellphone is ringing. She wonders if it is text. Anna perks up for it turns out to be a phone call from Hinata. She answers the phone and exclaims, Hinata! Standing on the balcony, Hinata greets her a good job [for knowing it is him or lasting out another day of school?] Hearing the noise, Hinata asks if she is still in school. Looking for a place to hide, Anna goes into the equipment room and sits down on the floor. She tells him that yes, for there is a Kyugi Taikai in the afternoon and their class is always winning. While Anna looks dreamily, Hinata says is that so, and being in the same class as Sou, they can always get ahead. Anna suddenly imagines Nanoka snorting with contempt that Hinata will also misunderstand. A chibi Nanoka exclaims that she didnt say it that way. Anna asks Sou why he would bring up Sou. Please explain yourself clearly, ah, its also okay even if you dont!!

While Hinata seems to tries to ask if this is about integrity, Anna says, It seems that you misunderstood so Ill clearly and plainly tell you.. Right now and also some time before, the one I like is you!! Hinata looks surprised. Anna freaks out over

conveniently confessing to Hinata again and it pains her to hear his silence. When Hinata calls her name, Anna quickly exclaims, No, Im not thinking of wanting to hear your answer. I should say that it is enough that you keep what I said in your heart. Hinata pauses a bit and says, Anna, during third year junior high, you also said, I already know your answer so there is no need to reply. *looking serious* Right now, you still wont let me say it, right? This surprises Anna. She asks him what he is going to say. Hinata says, Fufu- Because youve said, dont say it then I wont be saying it. Anna is aghast as she exclaims that she didnt say dont say it. Hinata says that it means the same about not wanting to change anything. Anna is speechless for she couldnt answer back. Hinata laughs and tells her to calm down. Ill tell you the next time we meet. Anna asks, Next time? Hinata tells her that it is the next time he comes back during summer break. Anna thinks that it is too far away because it is still May now. While Anna is wondering how many months before theyll see each other, someone says on the other line, Actually, it is also okay to see each other this coming weekend, right? And, it has also become a relaxing distance wherein one can go back and forth within one day - Anna looks surprised as she wonders whose voice it is. Then, she exclaims, Mashiro-kun?! While Hinata is looking speechless since Mashiro has grabbed his cellphone and is now talking with Anna, Mashiro happily says, Thats- right Right now, Hinata is at my house. *Mashiro just came home from buying something* Ah, right now, Im going to cook dinner- please wait a moment. Hinata says that compared to that, how about returning his cellphone to him. Mashiro ignores him and tells Anna that it is better to talk face to face rather than on the phone. So, how about leaving it up to me the responsibility of taking and bringing you back? Anna happily asks, Really?! Mashiro says that hes serious and she can stay at his house. Anna happily exclaims if she can and she would want to go. Mashiro sheepishly says that Hinata has to also agree to it. He gives the cellphone back to Hinata. Annas eyes widen in surprise when Hinata says, You can. Then, lets go on a date. Ill contact you again. You are still in the Kyugi Taikai, right. Sorry about that. Anna is thinking, Im going on a date with Hinata.. After hanging up, Anna is still stunned over what happened that it took her time to react to Nanoka who is looking for her. Anna then crawls out of her hiding place and calls out to Nanoka. Anna frantically tells her to listen to what she has to say. Nanoka is surprised over it while Anna looks quite excited. They didnt notice that while everyone are busy chatting and having fun, Sou is sadly looking at Annas direction.

I really love the surprises that come out in every chapter of this series. Wow, out of the blue, Hinata is finally going to tell Anna his answer and they are going on a date. Ah, Mashiro is really their cupid. =P For Mashiro to do all this for Anna, he must know something that Anna doesnt..hehe. As for Sou, Im conflicted whether to feel sorry for him or not because he did gave up so.. It also does seem to show that even if Sou left Anna, Anna can still move on with her life. Hm..I wonder if Sou heard what they are talking about. I think Anna can be loud especially if she is excited. It is nice to see how Anna is somehow adopted into Nanokas childhood friend group since she is apart from hers. Also, its nice to see how Nanoka who used to be quite detestable can actually be Annas good friend. ^^Hinata is really amusing that he manages to create a story which is pretty much spot on Annas experience. I think he is a very keen observer of people which is also the same for Nanoka. Hm..it seems that both of them also has a tendency to be brutally blunt with others. ^^;; I wonder if the author is giving us hints regarding this series as to who the lead male character is based on Hinatas manga. Oh well, I try not to expect anything especially since this author loves to surprise her readers and hope that the next chapter will be an exceptionally good one. ^^

I found another short side story which is somewhat like a continuation to the side story in volume 2 wherein Hinatas mother tends to make cute bento boxes for Hinata and in the end, she bought a cute cat outfit for him which Hinata doesnt quite like.

The author also made a mistake about Hinatas mothers age. It is suppose to be 39. Anyway, the author explains that there are a lot of readers asking about how Hinata chooses his clothes and this is a side story that the author thought of. Hinatas mother is usually the one who buys Hinatas clothes and she likes cat, cute type of stuff until the time in volume 2, Hinata decides to be the one wholl buy his own clothes. He would ask his mother for some money and, his mother is somewhat unhappy about it. Since Hinata is the type of guy who isnt that into clothes, he casually went to the store where Sou usually buys his clothes. While busily chatting with the store manager, Sou didnt notice that Hinata is buying some clothes. Sou is a guy who likes shopping and is into fashion. Since they are both buying clothes at the same store, this incident happened. Sou is horrified that he and Hinata are wearing the same outfit but its in different colors. Sous is black while Hinata seems to be light blue. Sou exclaims for Hinata to take off that t-shirt but Hinata doesnt want to since it is a hassle. Hinata tells him that it also doesnt matter since they wont be out together the whole day anyway. Aghast, Sou exclaims that isnt the issue, but its just gross. When Hinata suggests that Sou be the one to change his t-shirt, Sou stubbornly refuses to do so. Hinata tells him that hell just go ahead and leave first. Sou angrily shouts for Hinata not to snub him. While brushing her teeth, Anna thinks that those two are quite noisy so early in the morning. So, in the end, that day, they ended up wearing the same outfit. =P Im still waiting to find a Chinese scan of Mashiros side story. There is also a shorter one regarding Beni and Sou's same cellphone strap. StardustWink [Chapter 27] Thursday, March 31, 2011 Cover page: Unable to look away! Finally! Finally? Anna and Hinata are going to date!? Sitting cross-legged on a chair, Prince Hinata says, Anna, when we were in third year junior high, you said, 'I already know the answer so there's no need for you to answer', right. Right now, you still won't let me say it? *This might have some discrepancies from reality* [ since he is a prince here] Someone says, What, then doesnt it mean that Anna and Hinata-kun like each other mutually!! While dressing up at the lockers, Nanoka tells Anna, It means that the 'not wanting me to answer the confession' = 'I want to answer it' = 'I also like you'!! While she is wearing her coat, Anna happily says that she's jumping into conclusion. Anna sheepishly smiles when

Nanoka says that it is obvious that Anna is also thinking that way since she is obviously really delighted about it. Anna suddenly looks surprised for she feels that this is some sort of deja vu. Nanoka sighs and tells Anna that she thinks that Hinata has some apprehensions towards Sou. Before, the two of you like each other but Hinata has no way of betraying Nagase-kun-- But right now, finally, 'Anna!! In reality, I also like you-!!! Anna gloomily holds up her hand and tells Nanoka to please stop this. Nanoka froze and asks her why she suddenly became cold like that. Anna says that it is nothing, it isn't sudden but rather she just calmed down and realized something. Just now, I've remembered it.. I've already thought that Hinata likes me that I was super delighted over it but in the end, it totally wasn't like that. Nanoka didn't say anything more. At home, while eating, Anna thinks, That's right. I should calm down first. I'm really happy about the date!! Because of what Hinata said, I'm pretty much excited!! But what Nanoka said about, 'mutually like each other' is absolutely impossible. The one whom Hinata likes during junior high is--.. *remembers Mari-sensei; Anna feels ill* [Ugh,] I've remembered something unpleasant.. Ultimately, regarding that phone call, I also totally have no inkling as to what Hinata is thinking. 'Next time we meet, I'll tell you' What will Hinata tell me--..

At school, while Anna is taking her shoes at the shoe lockers, she overhears some girls saying that it is from the photography club and it is a picture of Nagase who looks so handsome. She looks at the poster and sees a huge picture of Sou along with a couple of other pictures. Anna goes into shock for it is the picture she accidentally took of Sou. Freaking out, Anna takes the poster to her club adviser and asks her what this poster is all about. Flashing a v-sign, Chikai asks her if she has seen it and it looks good, right. She tells Anna that she chose a picture from the Kyugi Taikai [/balls competition] by each of the members and put it up in one poster for she wants the others to see it. Anna shouts that it isn't good at all and what's to report. Just sticking this up without even some discussion, please change the picture I took, with something else!! Right now, immediately!! Anna is stunned when Chikai tells her that from the ones Anna took, there are no other good pictures. Chikai reprimands her that she wasn't seriously taking pictures during the competition. Anna tensely denies

it. Chikai tells her that it is useless to cover it up for one would know just by looking at her pictures. Chikai reminds her of 'the intuition of wanting to put importance on the pictures taken' is very important. One has to have a feeling of 'want to take a picture of' and it is also when one's inner being is moved. A picture which manifests this kind of feeling will also stir up the feelings of the person looking at it. How can you take pictures if your heart [/mind] is preoccupied? Anna gloomily apologizes. Chikai tensely tells her that she didn't say that all of her pictures aren't good. I think that this picture is really good so I used it for the poster! A bit flustered, Anna asks, That picture? Giving her an okay-sign, Chikai tells Anna, Yes, I really felt your feelings of liking Nagase-kun. *Anna is gloomily speechless.* But, he's really popular- Nagase-kun. Wasn't it said that he has a lot of fans within the school? Annachan, are you also a fan? Or is it [more] serious?! Anna is aghast and angry.

While angrily walking at the hallway, Anna thinks, So, I've said that we are purely childhood friends--. I feel tired from having to deny it until now. What fan!! You are the fan!! ( note says that it seems quite unexpected) Hm..it would be good if because of the poster, one would think that it is taken by a fan of Sou.. if it is like that, then it will be quite fortunate. But compared to this being something funny, if Sou sees it, and it is exposed that I'm the one who took that picture. Anna imagines Sou angrily shouting, Didn't I say that we 'separate [/cool off] for a while', what is the meaning of this picture! You are really such an insensitive girl!! Do not stick it out [in public], are you an idiot?! Anna gloomily thinks that before it is exposed, before Sou gets to see it.. At the stairwell, aghast Sou looks at his picture on the bulletin board. His friend laughs that it is really amazing for Sou made it into a super big feature article. Standing at the corner, Anna is really scared and thinks that she is too late. Ah ah, from this side, I cannot see Sous reaction to know what he is thinking. In the end, hes angry, right?! Isnt he? This is the result of this and that reasons!! Sous friend continues to laugh and says that the one who took the picture is definitely a girl. Could it be Sous fan? Shouldnt we ask someone from the photography club? Anna freaks out over this. She wonders what that guy is saying. Its fine if its just Sous fan!! There will be no problem if it is a fan, dont make Sou do that!! If Sou learns

that Im the one who took it--.. Sou sighs and says not to mind it for he isnt interested to know. Anna is surprised to hear that. As Sou and friend head upstairs, his friend comments that Sou is quite calm about it. After they left, Anna goes up and looks at the poster. She goes into an eh expression and mutters, not interested, huh. She thinks, Is that- so. That is also true. Hahaha.. haha.. Im the only one whos flustered at this side that I couldnt sit still, that I couldnt even calm down in class. Im really such a fool.

At home, Anna is lying on her bed and holding her cellphone. She looks for Hinatas number and calls him. She closes her eyes as she listens to the other phone ringing. Moshi-moshi.. Anna? Anna opens her eyes and smile. Then, she giggles. Sitting at his study table, Hinata asks her what it is. Anna says that it is nothing but she just thought that Hinatas voice can send away negative ions. Hinata sweatdrops and asks what is that. Anna just happily smiles. Hinata asks her if she thought of a place where she would want to go on the weekend. Anna quickly sits up and exclaims that she thought of it. Anywhere is okay!! Anna is shock when he says that answer can make things difficult. Anna asks him what about him. Hinata says, Ah, me? *long pause* anywhere is okay.. Im sorry, I will completely [be] enthusiastic in thinking about it. Anna tells him that she has always thought that the words completely enthusiastic is not a part [/connected] to Hinatas vocabulary. Hinata replies, What are you saying. Im super completely enthusiastic. Completely enthusiastic in planning this date trip to make you, Anna, cheer up. *Anna looks surprised* Then, please anticipate it. Anna thinks, Geez, how did [he] know.. Hinata, he.. Anna happily says, Okay!! Finally, it is the day. Carrying her bags, Anna calls out to her mother that she is going out. Her mother reminds her to properly thank Mashiro and remember to give that [thank you/visiting] gift to him. Anna says okay to all of that. Her mother also reminds her to if she is going to be home soon, she should send a text [/sms]. Anna heads down to the parking lot to see Mashiro. He greets Anna and tells her that he has come to pick her up. Anna happily greets him. Mashiro comments that she dressed up really cute and it has a powerful presence. This made Anna happy that she says that she is after all, going on a date. She then gives him a package and tells him that her

mother wants to give that to him. Mashiro says okay. He tells her to first sit in the car for it takes three hours to get to Tokyo.

When she opened the door, she is surprised to see Hinata sleeping soundly at the backseat. She exclaims that its Hinata. Mashiro says that is right, for Hinata told him that he would also want to fetch her. Even if he said that, he promptly fell asleep. This kid. Mashiro tries to wake up Hinata by calling him but Anna says that it is alright, there is no need to wake Hinata up. She asks Mashiro what time he left from home. Mashiro tells her that they left at six oclock. Anna sweatdrops and apologizes to him for the trouble, as well as thanks him for taking the trouble. Mashiro assures her that it is fine since he is an idler. Okay, lets go. Anna tells him that shell be under his care. [<- being polite]. At the backseat, Anna feels a bit tense as she sits at the other side of sleeping Hinata. She glances at Hinata and thinks that Hinata isnt really much of an early riser so it must be quite an inconvenience for him to go on this long-distance date. Then, Mashiro notices that he should have made a right turn a while ago so now, he has to make a u-turn. He swiftly turns around that because of the centrifugal force, they all lean to the left. Mashiro apologizes and reminds them to wear their seatbelt. Anna notices something on her. She blushes really red and freaks out that Hinata is now sleeping on her lap. While wondering if this is for real, Anna tensely calls Hinata. [Im not sure if it is Mashiro or] Anna apologizes that this happened while he is sleeping. She nudges him a bit. This wakes Hinata up. He turns sideways and finds Anna looking down on him. He sits up and rubs his eyes. He says, Ah.. Anna? Are we already at the apartment? Anna blushes really red and thinks that Hinata is acting as if nothing happened. Hinata is puzzled that he asks why Annas face is really reddish. Mashiro says, okay, okay, dont flirt around at the back or could it be that they are already going steady. Hinata is surprised when flustered Anna exclaims, We are not!! What are you saying, Mashiro..

Anna freezes and thinks that the way she said it just now isnt appropriate. Simply, it should be said in a way that it wont be misunderstood. *Chibi Anna flashes a v-sign and winks, I hope that we can go steady- Is saying it that way much better?! Or, what should I say?! I dont know.. While she is thinking over that, Hinata says, Wait a minute, Mashiro-kun. Because of you, Ive been dumped before the date. What do you want me to do then? Mashiro replies, Ah ha..sorry- Just make it up during the date- Anna turns to Hinata and asks what did they just say. Noticing her looking at him, Hinata tells her that he has already decided where they will go. Anna perks up and asks, where. Hinata says that hell tell her if she guessed it right. While Hinata quietly looks/observes her, Anna looks surprised then she looks aghast while wondering what kind of place that is. In the end, what does that mean? Is that a place where one will go for a date!? Is it a nightclub type of place? If we are going to a place where there are a lot of cute kids, what am I to do.. Anna glances at Hinata then notices that he is giggling. She asks him if he is laughing. Trying to suppress his laughter, Hinata apologizes and says that he never thought that she will take it so seriously. Anna is shock and gloomy over it. She asks him if he is just kidding. Somewhat whispering to her, Hinata says, Its alright. I think that there are no kids cuter than you, Anna. While Anna is stunned-blushing, Hinata tells Mashiro to drop them off at Ueno. Mashiro says, understood. While Hinata feels sleepy again, flustered and tense Anna tells herself that she obviously decided not to anticipate [the date]. But it seems that it is still a date that I cannot help but to anticipate. Starting right now

Haha..the author has also successfully made me feel what Anna is feeling. What will happen next feels me with anticipation and dread. ^^; I also eagerly anticipate over this date that Hinata planned for Anna. Im kind of guessing that it will be Ueno zoo. =P I dread of a possible outcome based on what others in Chinese sites are saying that Hinata is just going to make Anna realize her true feelings for Sou. Based on what Chikai mentioned, could it be possible that Anna actually likes Sou unconsciously? But then, that like could be a like as friends or romantic like. Anna is also really bothered about Sou and that he supposedly didnt care who took that picture. It got me wondering if it is purely because she feels sad that a childhood friend is right there..someone who is part of her past, yet acting like a stranger towards her. Or, is it because she actually likes him romantically? Well, it could be she is disappointed over his reaction. I actually do not like the idea of liking unconsciously someone which is different from one consciously likes. It is just confusing and gives me a headache if I try to analyze it especially since it makes me think that I cannot really believe what the character, in this case, Anna is really thinking that she is feeling. With all the building up the author has been doing since the time when Sou temporarily cut his relationship with Anna, I will be disappointed if nothing much happens between Anna and Hinata. Too bad that we dont know if Anna felt the same way with Hinata before because of the time skip and shes probably too busy trying to graduate. There is really a thin line between lovers and friends, at times. How Anna felt and acts towards Hinata seems to be like that, too. Hehe, well, the same goes with Hinata, too. Hinata is really going out of his way to do all this for Anna. Is it as a friend or is it something more? Haha, I guess the author just wants to keep us guessing until she reveals it..hopefully, in the next chapter. Well, whichever it is, they are really close with each other and I do like how Hinata is always able to cheer her up. Now, Im still curious as to why Mashiro is really going out of his way to arrange all this. He seems to be a pro-Hinata x Anna and he was the one who put in Annas mind that she actually likes Hinata..since from the very start. I dont think Mashiro is that heartless to put false hopes in Anna especially since he does seem to cherish her more than his own sister. I believe that Mashiro knows something. The two felt at peace as Anna muses that this place is heaven. Narration: Sitting in the car as it rock about at the highway after several hours, it turns out that the place where there are a lot of cute kids and where Hinata chose to go on a date is actually the zoo. Hinata asks Anna, What about it? Are there any kids cuter than you, Anna? Anna laughs it off and says, What are you saying!! Of course, these kids are cuter than me. Ah- If compared with animals, Anna-chan cannot compare to them- Hinata asks whats up with her [that kind of reaction]. Anna thinks that she has been agonizing at the car regarding what Hinata will tell her regarding his answer to her confession. And the end of that worrying, No matter how much I think of it, only Hinata knows about it, right!? Isnt it a waste to think of it for such a long time!? And that is the conclusion that I came up with. *holding up fist* Since it is like that, I might as well just simply not think of anything and enjoy this date with Hinata. Isnt this more sensible!? *freezing* If I said it this way, perhaps someone would say that Im just running away from reality.. Looking at a brochure, Hinata cannot help control his joy for the next one they are going to see are pandas. Anna looks at him in surprise for Hinata can actually get excited over some other animals, other than squirrels. Happily smiling at him, she thinks, But, right now, I do not want to waste the time Im with Hinata. And, for a while, is it okay for me to just forget everything and have fun as much as I like..?

At the Giant Panda exhibit, there is an announcement that the park is currently very crowded so the visitors, who are going to view the panda, shouldnt stop walking and just keep on moving forward. Thank you for your cooperation. Anna exclaims that it is very popular. Hinata comments that even if he had predicted it to be, he didnt expect it to be this crowded. Hinata asks if they should give it up. Anna asks what he is talking about. Its rare for us to come here, so lets go together and see it!! Hinata says that shes right. Lets go!! Because of the vast number of people pushing each other to see the pandas, the two got separated. Anna thinks that it is really very crowded that she couldnt see the pandas. Hinata calls out to her and asks if she is alright and he has already seen the pandas. Anna exclaims if that is true. Hinata tells her that it is at this side, this side. Just then, someone is holding Annas hand tightly.

This made Anna blush really red as she thinks, Wait, Hinata!! Its quite hard to just totally abandon those evil thoughts and decided to have fun as much as I like. If this keeps up, Ill quickly [start] anticipating. *holding her hand tightly* And, to be pulled so forcefully like this, sorry but I cannot help but become really happy over this-!! Then, Anna is pulled out from the crowd..by a young boy. Anna looks at the boy and asks to herself, Who..[is this].. Hinata goes out from the crowd and asks Anna what happened. Anna looks at Hinata who is approaching them, and tells him that her hand got pulled out by this boy whom she doesnt recognize. The boy looks at Anna and says, Not..ma..ma.. Anna looks tense as she and Hinata think, Ha? The boy becomes teary-eyed then cries, Wah..I got kidnapped!! Waaaaahh (cry) =P Anna tensely exclaims for him not to say things that will make other people misunderstand.

As Anna and the boy are sitting on a bench, they learn from the crying boy that he got lost from his parents and thought that the hand he is got hold of is his mothers. Anna looks away aghast for her [overly imaginative] girl brain switched the reality of a child holding her hand with an absurd idea of someone older = Hinata, is the one holding her. Hinata tells the boy that it seems that his parents arent nearby so theyll bring him to a lost child center. The boy whines that he doesnt want to go to the lost child center for it is so lousy. Hinata muses that kids at his age already knows how to be ashamed. The boy tells him that it feels strange to be in that place. Thinking that it is dangerous to just leave him alone, Hinata suggests that they go together in looking for the boys mother since the boy hates the lost child center. Anna reluctantly agrees with him. Anna thinks that because of this situation, it has become not quite like a date but then, this also gives her an opportunity to become cool-headed. As they start walking around, Hinata asks the boy what his parents are like. The boy says that his father likes beer while her mother is very scary. =P The boy suddenly shouts, Ah!! Its Zebstrika--!! then starts running off. Anna shouts for the boy to wait up. Soon, Anna is breathing hard as she manages to catch up with the boy. She tells the boy that he is like that, so no wonder he got lost. Holding the bars, the boy happily exclaims, Zebstrika, Zebstrika!! Its for real!! Anna asks if the Zebstrika, he is talking about is actually a zebra or is Zebstrika.. Hinata tells her that what the boy is saying should be

from Pokemon wherein it looks very much like a zebra. The boy happily asks if Hinata knows about Pokemon. With a twinkle in his eye, Hinata says that he knows really well and doesnt a Blitzle [/Shimama in Jap] evolves into a Zebstrika [/Zebraika in Jap; It is a fast and powerful electrical zebra-like Pokemon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. Anna is a bit speechless and tells Hinata really knows about it. Hinata sighs and tells her that it is because lately, the topic that Sou talks about with him is Pokemon. Yesterday, at the telephone, he kept on talking about it on and on.. I-- I always have to use Pokemon- [<- ah, I think it made him knowledgeable about Pokemon or Hinata is the only one whom Sou can talk about it.] Thanks to him, I wasnt able to get enough sleep-- Anna thinks Hinata and Sous relationship is still very good just like in the past. Originally, I was worried that they would be awkward and dont know what to do because of me. Then, the boy blurts out, By the way, are oniisan and oneesan, lovers? The two freeze. Anna is shock at how fast the topic has been changed. But then again, it is this question again.. Just when aghast Anna tries to say what he is talking about, Hinata pats the boys head and says, Even if we are not lovers, but our feelings for each other [/relationship] is much better than lovers. Then, someone is calling out to Yuuto. The boy exclaims that is her mothers voice. Yuuto quickly runs to the direction of the voice to where his mother is. Hinata says that its great that they found the mother. He notices that Anna is lost in thought that he asks if she is listening. Anna snaps out of it and says, ah, yes..thats right. Then, Anna looks somewhat tense. As they continue on walking together, Anna tries to quickly think of something to say or else--. Then, Hinata calls out her name. Anna immediately shouts where else does he want to go. This surprises Hinata. Anna continues to say that elephant, giraffe and also penguins.. Even if the panda wasnt seen much but we saw the red panda quite clearly. Ah, thats right, do you want to see a lion!? Coming to the zoo, we should see the king of the beasts. Want to go see it!? *pause and tensely says* What..do you think? Hinata tells her ya, he also wants to see the lion. Anna says, okay, it has been decided, lets go!

Anna thinks over what Hinata said that even if they arent lovers, their relationship is much better than lovers. What Hinata said just now, how should I understand it? Should I be happy about this? Or, should I be broken-hearted about this? I couldnt distinguish it clearly. *remembers Hinata telling her on the phone, Next time we meet, Ill tell you.* What Hinata said a while ago, if I were to link it up with what he said before, I will.. At the souvenir store, Anna is holding up a panda [puppet?] on her hand and happily tells Hinata to look, its a panda doll. Blushing a bit, Hinata says that it is really nice. Anna tells Hinata that she would want to buy it for Mashiro. Would he want it? I personally would want one!! Hinata tells her that didnt she already gave a gift to Mashiro this morning. Anna says that she did give him one but she would want to also give Mashiro something on the return trip. Since, Mashirokun cannot go back to Tokyo today.. Hinata tells her that he thinks that Mashiro doesnt mind that he cannot go back because it seems that he has a girlfriend at the other side. He said that he wont come home [to Tokyo to sleep] tonight. Anna goes into shock and exclaims if that is so. Anna thinks that Mashiros girlfriend is definitely a cute girl. Hinata looks at her then becomes thoughtful. He then says, Anna, can I say something for a while? *Anna freezes and becomes tense* Regarding that Next time we meet, Ill tell you., that I told you on the phone, perhaps, you might not agree.. *using the panda doll to talk* But in the end, it is quite hard to talk while at the zoo, so is it okay if we talk [about this] again next time? Lets choose a new place again. *Anna looks surprised at Hinata as he wiggles the panda doll* Sorry-- While Hinata looks at the panda and mutters about being reluctant to leave, somewhat flustered Anna knits her eyebrows and thinks, ..there it is again. It seems that no matter when, Hinata can read through my heart.. No matter when..

At the Ueno JR Station, when it seems to be sunset soon, the couple meets up with Mashiro. Holding up the panda, Hinata says, Mashiro-kun, thank you for coming to fetch us, accept our Mama. After a pause, Mashiro asks what that is and is mama a suffix. [<-Sorry, I dont know the exact term used but Im guessing that Hinata is playing around with words of kuma which means bear.] Is that something that a male high schooler would buy? While Anna just quietly stands at his side, Hinata tells him that he [/they] already bought it. Mashiro tells him that it would be cuter if a girl bought it. Anna is thinking, What am I doing? Always being pampered by Hinata, always running away.. when obviously, if I dont ask, then nothing would also start [/happen]. Anna suddenly grabs Hinatas arm and exclaims, Hinata, say it! Im sorry. It is alright, whatever it is that you are going to tell me. Even if I cannot be your lover, but then, Im also the only girl whom you are childhood friends with. *tearyeyed yet somewhat smiling* When I seriously think about it, that is also an amazing thing, right..? Hinata looks really surprised. Anna looks at him as she waits for him to say something. Hinata says, I.. Flashback 1: The one I like is Anna, do you know that? [<-Sou said that at the end of the first chapter and it seems that Hinata overheard it based on chapter 2.] Flashback 2: Anna happily holds up her little finger over their pinkie promise and says, Hinata. [<- chapter 2; Anna will do her best if Hinata stands by her side when she and Sou quarreled] Hinata continues to say, I..[towards]..Anna.. [<-this sentence is usually used for confession] Flashback 3: Tokura-kun, feeling down? Do you know that there is a magic that can cheer you up? [<- I think you already know who said that.] Then, Annas eyes widen in surprise when she hears someone says, Hinata-kun? Someone is approaching from behind Anna. Anna thinks, ..ah, this voice.. And yes, it is smiling Mari-sensei coming towards them.

I lol over the kill and thrash emoticons that the uploader used on that last page. Hehe, Mari is indeed hated and probably because we are going to finally know what Hinata thinks of Anna..and Mari appears. Ive browsed through the past chapters while trying to figure out some things and I realized that this is the second time that Mari interrupted them over a confession. Before, Anna is going to confess to Hinata but Mari came and now..it seems like Mari is some sort of curse for this two. ^^; So, hopefully, they can exorcist her soon in order for their relationship not to ruined again. Based on those flashbacks which I think are Hinatas, I would jump into conclusion that Hinata indeed likes Anna but didnt pursue her because Sou confessed first. Hehe, but Im not going to put my hopes up because I dont want to be really disappointed later on. ^^; Im beginning to wonder if Hinata really did like Mari or everyone else just thought/assume/misunderstand the things between them. After rebrowsing over the past chapters, it is possible or Im just deluding myself just like Anna. =P Im starting to wishful think that Hinata pulled his hand away from Mari before when Anna is going to tell him who she likes is because Mari has a bad habit of setting people up = meddlesome. Maybe, Hinata deliberately did all those things and moved away because he wants to give Sou a chance with Anna. Hinata did start to make his move when Sou called it quits in trying to win Annas heart. Maybe, Sou knew this that is why it is his turn to separate from Anna for a while. If Hinata used art before to occupy himself, Sou is using a part-time job. Anyway, I think both guys know they both like Anna but it is really nice that they are still very good friends no matter what. I commend Hinata for listening to Sous pokemon rambling even up to late at night especially since Hinata isnt really into pokemon. I do hope that Sou didnt deliberately made Hinata stay up late at night so that he will be sleepy during the date..if Sou does know about the date. Well, I think Anna and Hinata would make a nice couple since they have the same interests and Hinata really knows her very well. Hm..the author is getting really good with her cliffhangers and twists/surprises in every chapter. I totally couldnt guess whats going to happen next. The babysit kid during date is quite common but I find this one amusing because of the boys reactions and answers to their questions. =P And also, the panda doll scene is quite cute. ^^

Narration: Now that I think of it, during junior high, it is also like this. Case 1: Anna tensely thought, Could it be that I and Hinata mutually think of the same thing!? [<share much in common/mutually like each other] That I only have to confess!! Then, holding Hinatas hand, Anna exclaimed, Hinata!! I.. Da-dum..interrupted when Mari came along. Case 2: While running, Anna thought, In the end, I do not want it to be like this wherein well graduate while quarreling. Im going to apologize to Hinata!! Just when Anna is going to call Hinata who is standing far from her.. Dadum, Mari appeared and talked with Hinata. Narration: I dont know why but whenever I and Hinata consider things to be, This is it!!, she always appears. Compared with me, that person has more intensely snatched away Hinatas heart. Mari giggles and says that it turns out that it is indeed Hinata for she thought that it is just someone who looks like him. Ah? The one at that side, could it be Koshirochan? With a disbelief expression, Anna turns to look at the back then she backs away a bit. Anna thinks, She appears again-- Mari exclaims that it is indeed Anna and what is she doing here. Anna looks aghast as she wonders what kind of script Mari is saying. With a smiling face, Mari says that the two of them had properly reconciled. But it is really great. I was really worried for it seems that the origin of your quarrel is [little] me.. Anna gloomily thinks, Ah..how nostalgic. In this situation, I feel powerless to say anything and [I] feel apprehensive.. Mari asks if Anna is staying there for today. Anna tells her no, she is going back. Mari is surprised that Anna is heading back today. Mari apologizes for interrupting them and if there is

time, she would want to chat some more with Anna. While Anna is wondering why this woman is here, Mari tells her that shell just ask Hinata about the rest at school. This surprises Anna when Mari mentioned school. Mari asks Hinata isnt that right. She is puzzled since Hinata is just looking away and isnt reacting to her. Mari approaches him and asks, What is it? Hinata looks surprised when Mari is about to touch him while saying, Tokura-kun. Before Mari can touch Hinata, Mashiro stops her by putting his hand in front to stop her finger. Mari looks surprised while surprised Hinata is looking down at Mashiros hand. Smiling Mashiro says, Okay, this will stop here for now- Theres not enough time--

Puzzled Mari asks who he is. Pushing up his glasses, Mashiro says that he is a type of guardian for Hinata and Anna. And, just like the rumor, you are very beautiful, sensei. Mari thanks him. Pointing to the car, Mashiro exclaims okay, Anna get in the car and Hinata go back home on his own from here. Gloomy Anna tries to protest. She thinks that she knows that she has to go but in the end, she still wasnt able to ask Hinata [/hear Hinatas answer]. And whats really important is if I just go and leave Hinata behind with that person.. Suddenly, Hinata grabs Annas arm. Anna looks surprised and Hinata looks somewhat tense. Hinata didnt say anything but to Annas surprise, Hinata holds her tighter. Anna wonders what this is. What could this mean!? Are you telling me not to go!? Why- I cant properly interpret it!! I better calm down. Hinata tells her to go ride the car. Flustered Anna says ya, yes, she will, if she can. Anna looks at him then at his hand that is holding her. Then, Hinata lets her go. Mashiro calls out to Anna [to get in else hell leave her]. Anna exclaims yes. Goodbye Hinata, see you next time!! Hinata looks somewhat surprised then sadly waves her goodbye with the panda doll. After the car left, Mari happily calls out to Hinata by saying what is that panda, and it is so cute. Hinata didnt seem to reply back. He just looks thoughtful-sad. Soon, it is night. Anna and Mashiro stop over a restaurant and ate some ramen for dinner. While eating, Anna thinks, A lot of things happened today. I went on a date and saw a lot of cute animals. In the end, I wasnt able to ask Hinata when I obviously have a pile of things that Im thinking of [/want to ask]. And at the end of all of it.. A chibi Mari said that shell ask Hinata about the

rest in school. While chewing, Mashiro comments to Anna that he always felt that it is quite unexpected. Anna asks, huh. Mashiro tells her that in his mind, his impression of Mari-sensei is that kind of person who is quite sexy as she seduces the students. Then, there is a picture of what Mashiro thinks Mari would be like a sexy seductress of a teacher. Aghast, Anna stands up and exclaims at Mashiro as to what kind of topics has he and Hinata been talking about. Mashiro says that it is because they are guys and his polite talk is quite amazing. [<- casual talking yet he can dig up a lot of stuff from the other person?] Somewhat flustered Anna looks at him in disbelief.

Mashiro tries to tell Anna that Kobayashi-sensei is.. Anna gloomily asks if she is Hinatas high school teacher. Mashiro says she is. Freaking out, Anna exclaims, Why!? Why!? Kobayashi-sensei obviously went on a marriage leave from our junior high school! Mashiro sweatdrops and says that Mari isnt pregnant so even if she has married, she can still work though he doesnt know the details about it. Anna gloomily thinks, Even if-- I can just say things, [<- say things yet nothing will change] then, right now, Hinata is still meeting sensei at school. This kind of thing.. this kind of thing.. This kind of thing.. Aghast and trembling, Anna mutters out loud, Could it be that Hinata has not yet forgotten that thing about sensei.. Having an unrequited love with someones wife..!! Mashiro looks surprised at her then he asks her if that is what she thinks. Anna is puzzled and asks, huh. Mashiro asks, Today, when you see the two of them, do you feel that Hinata likes that teacher? Anna looks surprised then she thinks, Todays Hinata is.. Flashback: After Mari is deterred by Mashiro from touching Hinata and Mashiro is introducing himself, Anna is surprised when Hinatas left hand is holding his upper right arm. Hinata looked serious-sad-tense. End flashback. Anna thinks, How.. how can I say it.. overall, it feels kind of strange..? Mashiro holds Annas chin up with his finger and says, Anna, save Hinata. Anna goes huh? Mashiro exclaims if it is okay for her to just let things unfinished and from that beautiful teachers hand is a womans weapon that anyone can use. Anna is puzzled as to what Mashiro meant. With a sparkle in his eye, Mashiro says, Listen up, Anna. In doing that kind of thing, the more you do it, the more you get too deep into it. Anna imagines Mari leaning down on Hinata and saying, Let me teach you a

way to cheer you up, a lot more. With hands on her head, Anna exclaims out loud, Nnnnooo!! Mashiro tells Anna that she would want to save Hinata from that sting, right. Defeat that Kobayashi-sensei. Gambatte- While walking away, Mashiro muses that things are going to be more interesting. Anna exclaims, Bu..but, Mashirokun.. I..!!

At the parking lot, Mashiro asks Anna what it is for didnt they already finish things up. Anna says no. She tensely tells him that before, she was told by Hinata that they are childhood friends who are better compared to lovers. Mashiro asks, So? Anna tensely says, Ah.. so.. for me to have this kind of jealous feelings towards sensei, wont Hinata feel that it is kind of quite troublesome.. Mashiro darkly asks, Huh? [<- kind of like Sous reaction when Anna is doing/thinking something stupid.] This made Anna feel tense. Mashiro asks her what about being troublesome for Hinata, and he wont be troubled over that kind of thing. Anna exclaims, But I feel that because I like Hinata, the current Hinata doesnt want to hurt me that he doesnt want to tell me his feelings!! *crying* for me, to be the only one, to be Hinatas female childhood friend.. I already felt that it is such an amazing thing.. But, is it okay to ask about that, but I totally feel its no good.. and I also wont want trouble the current Hinata. Regarding sensei, I would think of you idiot-- but.. [<- I think the last part meant, she might call him an idiot or hell call her an idiot which might cause them to quarrel just like before.] Mashiro looks tense and tells her that yes, sorry, its his fault. While comforting Anna who is wiping her tears, Mashiro asks what, does Anna think that Hinatas answer is no. He tells Anna that he feels that Hinata wont say it, isnt because its a pity if I dump Anna. Anna asks him why Hinata wont say it. Mashiro tells her that it is because it isnt enough, opening the key to Hinatas heart. Anna asks him what he just said. Mashiro tells her that he saw it a while ago. If you want to know Hinatas feelings, untying that chain is a necessity. [There is an image of Mari.] Fight on, Anna. The winner has not yet been decided. *grabbing Anna by the neck and gesturing forward* Defeat Kobayashi-sensei!! Anna sweatdrops and thinks that in the end, it is back to that topic.

As they ride the car, Anna thinks that even if he said it, she obviously knew that they cannot return to being ordinary childhood friends, she still.. She looks up the window and sees the full moon. She mutters, moon.. and Mashiro says that is right, its very beautiful. She perks up and exclaims, That is it!! This surprises Mashiro that he asks, what. [<- it turns out to be a Chinese slang. ^^;] if she is talking about shinme [<- sacred horse; I think it is a pun and he misunderstood her.] Anna happily tells him that a high school teacher told her some stuff about when you are moved [by something], you should press down the shutter of the camera. Mashiro asks which teacher it is. Anna tells him that she entered a photography club in high school. After testing it a bit, it became quite interesting!! And also, this time around, theres a Photo Koshien kind of thing, that club members will join in-- If we can stay up to the final competition, we can go to Hokkaido, hence-- *looking at Mashiro* Mashiro-kun, are you listening? Anna goes scared-shock when Mashiro, who is looking like he has an idea [<- up to some mischief type], says that he is listening. Mashiro is happily laughing as he exclaims that it turns out that Anna has joined a photography club. Photo Koshien!! You should absolutely stay until the final competition, gambatte-!! Anna sweatdrops and says, ya, shell do her best. To Annas surprise, Mashiro tells her that speaking of that, lately, Hinata has become quite interested in photography. Anna exclaims is that so, this is the first time she heard of it. Mashiro suggests that Anna takes a picture of the moon and give it to Hinata. Hell definitely be very happy. Taking her cellphone, Anna says okay and can he open the window. Anna is really happy even if it is a coincidence that Hinata is also interested in photography. She takes a picture of the moon and checks her cellphone if it looks okay. She thinks, Undeniably, there are a lot of things that I do not know about Hinata. What can I do to help.. its not at all that kind of amazing thing.. [<- she cannot do much] *looking sad* if it is to understand more of Hinatas feelings then.. Message sent.

In front of their apartment, Anna thanks Mashiro for today. Mashiro says that it is nothing and he just like observing the youthfulness of youngsters. [<- acting cupid? A busybody? =P] Mashiro asks Anna if she already got Hinatas reply. Anna says that she didnt. Mashiro sighs and asks could it be that hes already sleeping, after all, he woke up early today. Anna[/Mashiro] muses that normally, Hinata answers quickly. While Mashiro[/Anna] is saying that is how Hinatas mother trained him, Anna suddenly hides behind Mashiros car. This surprises Mashiro. Anna whispers to him her apology and asks him to treat her as if she isnt there. While Mashiro is puzzled, someone behind him, calls out to him. It is Sou. Sou comments that it turns out to be him for he thought it is some bum [/idler]. Mashiro asks what he is doing so late at this time. Are you night gaming--? Sou says he isnt and he just got home from work. At the back of the car, Anna begins to wonder what she is doing but then, right now, she is to keep distance from Sou. While thinking that Mashiro has read the mood, she freaks out when Mashiro asks Sou to guess what he just finished doing before coming back home. Mashiro is giggling while Sou mutters that hes so annoying. Sou darkly asks whats up with him. Before leaving, Sou says that it is nothing and he has already heard about it from Hinata that is why he called Mashiro a bum [<- has too much free time]. Mashiro looks somewhat surprised. Anna is surprised that Hinata has told Sou about it up to that point. Mashiro somewhat smiles [<- like someone who got caught] and says, In the end, it isnt only one [and the same] that is binding Hinata, right? Anna looks thoughtful as she is somewhat sitting out the car. [Im not sure if she heard what Mashiro said. Not only one and the same. The moon is partly covering the sky. While pulling the curtains to the side, Hinata is looking at it from the window. Hinata is holding his cellphone that has a picture and a message from Anna, probably about the moon. [It wasnt translated.] Hinata looks somewhat sad-thoughtful. Narration: The key to opening Hinatas feelings.

And..Im tempted to add to that last sentence, the answer which is it is another Hinata. =P Hehe, so based on what Mashiro thinks, there seems to be two things that is stopping Hinata from going with Anna. They are whatever it is between Hinata and Mari, and the other is Sou. Things are at a stalemate and something needs to get them moving. This time, it is Mashiro. Hinata is indeed such a puzzle and the author isnt revealing much so that we would remind clueless just like Anna as to what he is really thinking. Does he really like her or not? It seems he is..yet at times.. I feel that it seems that everyone else knows something but Anna, so I kind of feel bad for her. From whats happening, I can also pretty much jump into conclusions just like Anna. ^^; Okay, so Mari followed Hinata to high school. Geez, I wonder if that made Hinata regret transferring to Tokyo unless, he knew about it. Its one thing to fall for a teacher who is seducing/playing around with him but I think it is another thing to keep on loving a married woman. Is Hinata the type of person who would cross that line? I dont think Hinata is that much of a fool especially based on what he told Anna which started their long quarrel. Based on Hinatas reaction when Mari almost touched him, it seems like something happened between him and Mari. It does seem like how Mashiro hinted/teased Anna. It seems like the body language of Im violated or nervousness. I have to theories on this. One, I wonder if something almost happened/had happened which scared the daylights out of Hinata then, he realizes his feelings for Anna but is hesitant to tell Anna because he feels Im no longer worthy of you. During his calls and interactions with Anna, Hinata seems to be his normal self and he did somewhat tease her in a way to make her think that he likes her. Was he just acting? His reaction and mood totally changed when Mari appeared. From Mashiros question, I dont think that Hinatas reaction is the type of someone in love and maybe he really did wipe that kiss when Mari kissed him. If it isnt that, then the second one is what some readers are saying that there is something wrong with Hinatas hand/arm. Maybe it is Mari related..Im imagining Maris husband caught them and injured his arm. ^^;; Okay, that is very far-fetched but Mashiro did mention that Hinata is starting to become interested in photography. Is it because his arm is injured that he cannot draw or he wants to keep away from Mari? Either of the two theories, it is bad news for Hinata and is that what Mashiro meant by saving

Hinata ^^; I wonder though if they will meet at the photography contest because Im sure Mashiro will suggest it to Hinata. He is their love cupid, after all. I wonder if the competition will be held on summer. Im somewhat imagining Sou using up all that money he earned to join them at Hokkaido. =P I also want to see the two HINATA-s meeting, too. Hopefully, in the next coming chapters, Sou and Anna patch things up to help Hinata whatever it is that is troubling him. Hm..I actually wonder if Sou also knows whatever it is troubling Hinata. ^^; Whatever it is, I think it will take some chapters/months before well get to know for I thought it is in this arc, well finally know whats really up between Hinata and Mari..then, it seems to be something deeper than I imagined and we didnt really get any answers. Anna thinks that it has become that time again when this happened. It is devil-type exam season once again... I wasnt able to answer everything yet, and it has already left me. While Nanoka happily rejoices that it is finally over and she is free, Anna slumps her head on the table and mutters, Its over.. all sorts of meaning [/significance in life or studying?] is over. She then notices a guy calling out to Sou how he did on the exam. Sou says that it is typical. Anna thinks, Even going far as saying, typical. *pop vein* What are you saying, when every time, you would quickly put your head down and sleep when there is extra time! Sou tells his friend that he is hungry that his friend offers him some chewing gum. Sou refuses by saying that he doesnt eat gum. He looks back in the room and probably sees Anna looking at him with a somewhat pleading[?] look. She remembers Sou telling Mashiro that it is nothing and he already heard it from Hinata. Anna thinks, He knows that I went out on a date with Hinata. I wonder what Sou thought of it. *sweatdrop* No matter how I look at it, doesnt his

reaction seem to mean So what?. Then, Aya comes in the room and calls out to both Anna and Nanoka. She greets them a good work regarding the exams. Nanoka says that since it is rare for them to get an early school dismissal so why dont they go hang out for a while before going home. Aya agrees with this idea. Anna happily exclaims that she wants to eat some gelato. Nanoka exclaims that is good and they should go do it. Turning to Hinata, Aya thanks him for his text [/sms] and theyll be troubling him this weekend. After a pause, Hinata just says ya.

At Vita Italian gelato cafe, the three girls are eating their ice cream. Anna exclaims if they are going to take pictures of Hinata this weekend. Aya says that the storyboard is already done so right now, Hinata is going to start drawing the final draft. Aya happily informs Anna that it seems that she has been a great help before. Anna exclaims if that is so, thats great. Then, she asks if it is really okay to pay a visit during the rumored mangakas battlefield. Nanoka asks what she is being so excited about and visualizing it as something heroic. Nanoka says that she thinks that Anna will be disappointed. Anna sweatdrops and says, really. Aya comments that this time around, it seems that Hinatahas plenty of time. She asks Anna if she is free this weekend. Anna says that she is. Aya says that is great for she thought that she is going to have a date with Hinata again since exams are over. Annas smile froze in surprise. Nanoka tells Aya that she is mistaken for there is a problem even before the date because those two are currently at a delicate situation. Aya exclaims is that so. Aya starts to apologize to Anna for once again she had.. Anna tensely tells her that no, not really but rather, it is only because she didnt ask Hinata a question that she should ask so currently, she is suspended in midair. Nanoka says that is why she said delicate. Nanoka obviously told you that it will be okay to just quickly call and ask it clearly. [<- Nanoka addresses herself like that, instead of I.] Aya asks if they didnt talk on the phone since then. To Ayas shock, flustered Anna admits that they still frequently chat on the phone but..they didnt talk about that topic. Aya exclaims why. Nanoka says, See- Even Aya-chan thinks that it is mind-boggling. After a pause, Anna says that it is because.. While remembering what happened during the date, Anna thinks, That day..although I wasnt able to ask about the crucial issue,

but, even if it wasnt said, I also was able to feel some things that Hinata had conveyed. From his expression. From his action. Anna sadly tells her friends that she cannot just depend on the phone to convey this thing and isnt it too much.. Nanoka says, So, to put it bluntly, you are scared of asking him. That is the meaning of your explanation. Anna admits that, too. She thinks that of course, shes afraid but if it is okay for Hinata to say it on the phone, then, he would have already said it. Ive already made myself aware [of this possibility] but then, I cannot do anything about it for the problem doesnt solely lie with me.

At the bedroom, Anna happily tells Hinata about a mangaka in her class. She told him before that mangaka had agreed to be their model for the Photo Koshien. If I took nice pictures, Ill show it to you A professional at work. Hinata says okay, he would really want to see. Anna happily asks Hinata what pictures had he taken of lately. After a pause, Hinata says, all sorts of stuff. Anna looks at the phone and pauses for a while. Then, looking up, she says that Coco has lately been always looking for traces of Hinata. Hinata exclaims is that true, how cute. While she is telling Hinata that Coco has been lonely ever since GW, Anna thinks ever since that day, Hinata seems to have suddenly closed himself up that he wont talk about his matters again. She sighs and thinks that right now, she cannot continue talking about that day. Mashiro-kun had also said that Hinata is interested in photography but like this, asking him about it, his reaction is quite indifferent.. Then, her mother comes in the room and tells her that no one is in the bathroom now. Anna says, okay. Hinata takes the opportunity to say goodbye and says that hell call again. Anna looks at the phone and thinks, ..but, he is quite diligent in keeping in touch with me. (So happy). Hinata is really becoming more and more mysterious. Going to school the next day, Anna sighs when someone taps her back. She turns around and it is Kurumi who greets her a good morning. Anna greets her back and exclaims that it has been a long time since she has seen her since they are in different classrooms. Kurumi says that is true and it doesnt seem like a long time since Hime would always talk about Anna. Anna nervously says that it would definitely be about criticizing her like shes made them worry and she wont sincerely study. Kurumi says that it isnt like that because

based on their talk, she thought that they really like Anna. The everyday situation: Rui sighs and asks why Anna is so stupid that it is really unbelievable. Hime agrees and says that even if it is fun acting as the tsukkomi* on Anna, that kid would be very sad without a tsukkomi. [* refers to straight" or deliberately unfunny partner in a twoman manzai comedy routine. Also, the verbal or physical reprimand he administers to his partner, the boke. (Source: ANN)] End flashback. Kurumi giggles and says that they are easily embarrassed. Aghast Anna thinks that it is amazing what a good kid can strain [/filter out]. Now, I can finally understand.. as to why Mochiduki-chan can have a good relationship with that Mari-chan during junior high.. *light bulb* Thats right, if it is Mochiduki-chan..!! Anna tensely asks Kurumi if she knows that Mari is in the same school as Hinatas. Puzzled Kurumi answers yes, she knows, she heard it from Mari.

Anna rushes towards Kurumi and exclaims if she doesnt find it strange for in reality, it is very strange. During junior high, she quit and wont be a teacher anymore because she is getting married and it seems that her boyfriend stays in Tokyo. Then, after getting married and have settled down in Tokyo, because there is a recession right now, I can understand why both the husband and wife have to work but, why would she particularly go to work at the school where Hinata goes!? Anna thinks that Hinata had become change from that day on and it definitely has something to do with that person, just like before, how sensei treated [/act towards] Hinata during junior high. Kurumi looks at her in surprise and asks could it be that Anna detests the situation of Mari and Hinata being in the same school. Anna covers her mouth in surprise. Looking aghast, Anna tensely denies that she detests it but rather it is quite shocking. Anna thinks that she has forgotten that Kurumi didnt know what Mari did to Hinata behind her back that Ill cheer you up magic. Anna tensely thinks that she couldnt tell Kurumi about it. Kurumi asks if Anna knew about it only recently. Its because Hime-chan said that you entered the photography club that I thought that it is because of Hinatas influence. Anna perks up and saks, Influence? Kurumi tells her, I heard that Tokura-kun had also entered the photography club and the adviser is Mari-chan. After a pause and it sinks in, Anna goes !? Kurumi continues

to say that Mari even praised about Hinata having a photographers touch so hes amazing and she would want to see his work. Looking tense and aghast, Anna mentally tells Kurumi to stop, what did she just said, is that for real, for even if she mentioned about the club, Hinata had also totally not.. Then, Kurumi happily asks Anna if she and the others were the ones who took the pictures on that poster, those were really nice. She also asks if Anna and the others are also aiming for the Photo Koshien. Kurumi happily says that she heard that Hinatas school, because it is an art school, would frequently compete in it. And maybe, you guys will meet at the competition! It will be nice if it is like that! Koshiro-chan, gambatte!! Anna covers her eyes and thinks that its too shiny. Sparkling Kurumi happily waves and bids her goodbye. After Kurumi left, Anna processes what just learned. Hinata entered the photography club and Mari is the adviser. Hinata is in the same school as Mari and Hinata do not want to mention things concerning him. It makes me think more that it concerns Mari.. but why? Is it because right now, he still likes Mari-chan so he doesnt want to talk about his love life? But based on the mood before, this doesnt seem to be the reason. Wrong, maybe it is only me who is hoping for that.. ~~ *holds head* I dont understand. In the end, there are a lot of things that I want to say to Hinata. And also, sensei.. If I can really meet them at the competition, then it will be two birds in one stone.. *putting on her fiery delinquent looking pose* Photo Koshien..I only have to put my all into this fight [/competition]..!

On weekend, Aya happily waves to Anna and tells her to go here. Enthusiastic Anna apologizes for making her wait. Aya comments that she is all fired up. Holding her fist up, Anna exclaims that it is because for a long time, she has been anticipating the day when they can take pictures. Come, lets go!! To Kazami Hinatas house!! At an apartment, Aya tells Anna that Nanoka had sent her a text that she will go first to Hinatas house but then, Anna is carrying a lot of stuff. Holding her bag up, Anna says that it is because she plans to stay overnight at Nanokas place after they took the pictures. It will be like a pajama party. Anna tells her that Nanoka has always been complaining that she also invited Aya but Aya declined. While ringing the door bell, Aya tells her that it is because she has a prior engagement with someone else but next

time, shell definitely join them. The door opens and they are surprised to see haggard looking Hinata, who welcomes them. Aya asks if Hinata didnt sleep. She apologizes for disturbing him while hes drawing the final draft but theyll just take pictures and quickly go home. Nanoka peeks out of the room and says that she thinks that it would be better if they dont go home. Aya looks surprised as Nanoka winks and flashes her a v-sign. Because right now, Hinata is in his most desperate battle of all history [as a mangaka] Aya asks Hinata that didnt he had a lot of time this time around. Hinata tells her that before, there are a lot of time but last night, the editor called and said, I thought of a more interesting progress, re-draw the latter half of the manuscript. Aghast Aya asks when the deadline is. Hinata tells her on Monday. Aya exclaims if there is no extension. Hinata says that the editor said, Hinata-chan draws really fast, so theres no problem... Anna whispers to Nanoka that she doesnt quite understand but it seems that the situation is bad. Nanoka tells her to know aboutHinatas situation, they must start from the midterm exam. Nanoka explains that Hinata obviously reviewed his lessons diligently but when the exams are coming up, the exam topics range are suddenly changed and the exam date wasnt changed. Flashback: Bunny teacher told Hinata that wont it be better to change the exams scope.Hinata went, Wha!? End flashback. The teacher who changed the scope of the exam even irresponsibly said, If its you, youll definitely be able to do it!! I believe in you. Flashback: Bunny teacher told irked Hinata to believe in himself. End flashback. Anna freaks out over it and exclaims thats too much and itll lead to a dead end. [<- About school, that is the probably another reason why Hinata is sleepy aside from the need to do the last minute manga revisions.]

Aya offers to help Hinata. Anna also offers to help him. Hinata asks if that is true but then, the pictures.. They tell him that theyll help him and take pictures at the same time. Hinata asks if they can do that. Nanoka says that just now, she has always been helping him but that table of his can only sit two people so she is going to stay on the bed. Holding a book, Nanoka jumps to Hinatas bed. Speechless Hinata just looks at her [for doing whatever she wants?]. Then, Hinata gives the other two girls some manga pages and tells them that he has already inked the first half of the manuscript

so could they help him erase the draft/pencil lines. Aya takes the papers and says thats great for it is something that she can do. She gives half of it to Anna. Anna blushes a bit upon seeing some of the pages of the manga. Hinata tells them sorry for the trouble and hell be continuing re-drawing the latter half. Anna is surprised at how fast vroom vroom and intense Hinata goes in drawing so if she didnt do her best.. She sees Aya busy erasing the lines so Anna quickly goes to work. They finish and they were given new things to erase. Erase..erase.. Soon, it is night. Nanoka complains to Hinata that she is hungry and it is already 7pm. Hinata goes into shock that it is already 7pm. While Aya immediately looks at her cellphone, Nanoka asks in a singsong manner if Hinatas mother and others arent home today. Call on the phone, that ramen store, and order some delivery food-- Nanoka wants chashu [roasted pork fillet] ramen .

Aya stands up and apologizes for it is almost time for her to go home. Gambatte, Hinata. Im sorry that I wasnt able to help you much. Hinata tells her that she already helped a lot but then, what about the pictures. To Annas shock, Aya tells Hinata that she had already took them. Anna wondered when did Aya took them since she is so busy helping, she [Anna] totally forgot about it. As he walks Aya out, Hinata asks if it is alright for her to go home by herself. Aya tells him that it is okay, because right now, there are still buses. She also tells him that it is okay for him to just walk her to the gate. While holding her camera, Anna asks if it is only Ayachan who doesnt live in this apartment and she thought that she did since they are childhood friends... While on the phone, Nanoka tells her that Aya has moved out from there earlier. Nanoka asks Anna if she also wants chashu ramen and it is very delicious. Anna says ya. Nanoka mutters that Hinata would definitely want vegetable ramen. When Hinata returns, Nanoka exclaims that she ordered some food. Hinata sweats over the assistant deciding things on her own. Anna watchesHinata as he sighs and gets back to work. She seems mesmerized by him. Bent over at his desk while working slavishly, even if I have taken his picture several times, his concentrate wont even decline a bit. It is simply as if he and the one at school are two different persons. Kazami-kun, he... Her thoughts are interrupted by

the door bell.Hinata says that it must be the delivery. Raising up her arm, Anna volunteers to go. She tells Hinata to continue on drawing. The door opens and Anna says, Coming. Delivery boy Sou reads from a paper, Im from Sennin-ya. [Sennin store] Two orders of chasu ramen and one order vegetable ramen.. He stops reading and looks at the customer who turns out to be Anna who looks dumbfound at him. Then, the aghast and surprised childhood friends back away from each other and goes, !?

Hehe, this author really likes to pull surprises in every chapter. I guess with Sous appearance here, those two will be making up pretty soon before the photo competition. My guess it has been a month or so since they had separated. I really wonder what Sous reaction afterwards regarding this. Anna is staying at some other guys house and might possibly stay overnight there or somewhere nearby, courtesy of Nanoka. =P Since it is night, Im imagining Sou would offer to walk her home or something and she will refuse. Okay, Im kind of hoping that there will be a bit of jealousy or something with Sou in order for him to quit being passive or stop his cold war with Anna. So that will be one less problem for Anna. Actually, the other type of reaction would be Sou going wow over Hinata being a mangaka because after all, Sou is into pokemon. =P Wont it be nice if Annas cellphone rings and it is a phone call from Hinata. And, Hinata answered it? =P That will be an interesting scene. I wonder if it is a trend for Anna to have a mesmerized/dreamy look whenever she takes nice pictures. It happened with Sou before and it seemed to have happened with Hinata. Hinata turns out to be quite likeable and because he has a tendency to be timid or a pushover, he does seem to be a less stressful guy than the two leading guys. =P Im amused over Annas comment that it seems Hinata has a dual personality because that is what I thought of Hinata before. Also, it is indeed a surprise that Nanoka is also turning out to be such a likeable character, too. She really knows how to get to the core of the problem and say things bluntly. =P Anyway, I think Annas problem with Sou will be resolved first, before the one with Hinata. Maybe Sou can give Anna more hints about whats the real issue between Mari and Hinata. The issue between those two is really strange that just like Anna, it does seem something like

love and yet, it isnt really. Its nice that Anna can just stop overly thinking about this thing for a while and focus on something that is attainable towards her goal. Hopefully, theres more fun in the next chapter and I cannot help but wonder if what Hinatas editor did here happened in real life that the author wasnt able to make a colored page. ^^; I actually missed it. Narration: My and Sous relationship is currently in.. *Sou said: In order for us to return to becoming good childhood friends, lets keep some distance between us for a while.* kind of situation. That means, we are not to contact nor talk with each other. So it is like that, and when I opened the door in order to pay for the take-out food, the one who appeared before me is.. *Aghast Sou and Anna look surprise and speechless at each other* Why is Sou standing there and he smells of ramen.. Glancing at the address plate which had the surname Kazami, Sou says that he got the address right. Anna asks him what he is doing. After a pause, Sou tells her that he is working on his part-time job. Sou kneels down and put the bowls of ramen on the floor. He tells her that it is two chasu ramen and one vegetable ramen, and all three, costs 1800 yen. Anna looks at him and thinks that before Sou said that he is going to work on a part-time job and it turns out to be at a ramen store. Could it be that this store is somewhere nearby? Speaking of that, Sou seems to like ramen ever since before, though it is more on cup ramen [<- instant ramen]. Her thoughts are interrupted when Sou repeats, Miss, are you listening? It all costs 1800 yen. Anna smiles at him but she is obviously irritated. She says, Ah, sorry about that. I dont have loose change so can I give you 2000 yen? Holding up his hand to take the money, Sou says, Okay, I receive your 2000 y.. Sou is surprises when Anna immediately holds the money up high. Sou sweatdrops and asks her why she is treating a part-timer like that. With a somewhat crazed look, Anna says, Wait-a minute, isnt it a bit rude to treat the customer this way? A person like that, wont be paid. *waving the money* If you want the miss to pay you, then give the miss, a smile. Isnt that fundamental in treating customers? Sou says that the miss is quite troublesome. Anna shouts, Look, look, the noodles are starting to become soggy so quickly give the miss a smile!! Sou tells her not to hinder his work [/the business] and she better be careful, or else hell report her. Hearing the ruckus, Hinata goes out and asks Anna if there is any problems in paying. He is surprise to see Anna angrily pinching angry Sous face to make him smile. =P Nanoka also comes out and asks whats holding up Anna, shes already hungry. Upon seeing Sou, Nanoka exclaims, Ha!? Why is poop Sou here.. Aghast Sou thinks, Poop?, then he says that hes working on a part-time job. Thinking that Sou is working part-time, Hinata asks Anna about the payment. Anna nervously says that she hasnt pay yet.

Hinata says that hell pay it and she can go bring the food in the living room. After a pause, Sou says that he received the payment in whole. Anna apologizes to Hinata for in the end, he was the one who paid. She offers to pay him later on. Hinata tells her that there is no need and just treat it as returning the favor. While Anna tries to protest, Sou looks at them. Nanoka asks Sou if he is curious as to why Anna is in Hinatas house. This surprises Sou [/snaps out of thought]. Nanoka says, Then, let me tell you. The two of them are going steady Carrying the two bowls of ramen, Hinata angrily tells Nanoka not to openly tell a blatant lie. Sou casually says that after they eat, leave the utensils [/bowls] outside the door and hell just come back to get them. Nanoka angrily tells Sou to at least show some reaction. She scolds him for being boring. Without missing a beat, Sou thanks them for their patronage. Nanoka continues to shout for him to wait. While Nanoka helps him in bringing the bowls in, Hinata tells her that wasnt that grudge regarding Ayane, already resolved and if she does want to quarrel, she shouldnt do it over the top. Nanoka says that for Sou to play around with Aya-chan, it is a crime that she wont forgive throughout her life. Irritated Anna still looks out towards Sou who had already left. She wonders whats up with that I dont care attitude. He is always acting quite relaxed by himself and treating me like an outsider. Is it really for us to become good childhood friends again? I actually feel that, on contrary, it has become bad--!? Soon, Nanoka is sound asleep on the bed. Aghast Hinata says that after eating, she just sleep. Geez.. what did this girl come here to do.. *turns to Anna* Koshiro-chan, you are going to sleep overnight at Nanokas place today, right? When this girl is sleeping, she wont move at all so today, are you also going to sleep in my house.. He then notices Anna looking depressed. He calls out her name again before Anna snaps out of it and exclaims, What!? Were you saying something!? Hinata sweatdrops and says that this is quite unexpected and she seems to be depressed. Anna brightly smiles and laughs it off that it isnt so. Hinata asks if she quarreled with Sou. Looking aghast, Anna keeps on denying it. Hinata suggests that she rest for the day. Anna tries to protest. Hinata tells her that the pages that they are going to help him with, are already finished, and she can take the picture of the original manuscript tomorrow. He smiles and says, Thank you for today and good work.

At a different room, Nanoka is sound asleep on a futon. Beside her, Anna is sitting on her futon. She sighs for making Hinata worried about her. Really.. if it is only a quarrel, it will be okay if I go and apologize.. Whats more, what is with that temporarily keep some distance and up to when is that temporarily!! How many months, days or weeks?! A note says: childish. Anna angrily lies down and pulls up the blanket on her. She thinks that she also cannot be relaxed with just waiting. Sou..you idiot--.. The next day, Anna wakes up and looks at her cellphone. She thinks that it isnt 7am yet and she is already awake so maybe she cannot sleep very soundly in other peoples houses, even if Nanoka slept like a pig. Anna goes out of the room with her camera. She thinks that today, shell definitely take pictures. She wonders if Hinata is still sleeping. Anna peeks into the room and sees Hinata working. She wonders if he is already drawing or could it be that he didnt sleep at all. She starts to wonder if Hinata will be alright since he obviously didnt seem to have slept yesterday. Then, Hinata puts down his pen. Anna watches him intently when Hinata looks at the drawing. He puts the paper near him then far away from him. Then, he smiles and sighs in relief. With a smile, Hinata stretches his arms. Then, he freezes to find Anna taking his picture. As Hinatagoes into !!?, Anna exclaims that his concentration is really amazing for he totally didnt notice that she has already entered the room. Hinata nervously wonders when Anna came in and was he thinking aloud [/talking to himself] then. Anna asks him if he had properly slept for it isnt 7am yet. Hinata is surprised and says that speaking of that, he hasnt slept at all. Anna exclaims if that is something can be forgotten, hes like a berserker. Hinata says that he got too excited. Holding the manuscript, Hinata happily says that it is good that he isnt that tired anyway, and he is already finished tracing [/scanning] it. Whats left is drawing the background. I dont use much screentones so I can quickly finish it up. Blushing Anna looks at him and thinks that he really looks happy.

Putting the papers back on the table, Hinata tells her about eating breakfast and is bread okay since that is what they have. Anna tells him that it is totally fine for she belongs to those who eat bread during morni.. She didnt finish for she sees Hinata looking really dizzy. Then, he falls down on her. This made Anna scream. Rubbing her eyes, Nanoka goes in the room and asks what that noise is, that woke her up. Her eyes widen in surprise to see Hinatalying on top of aghast Anna, who is lying on the bed. Anna tells her, Wait.. Nanoka.. get me.. Kazami-kun, he.. Nanoka angrily shouts, Hinata, what are you doing! You, filthy guy!! Anna exclaims, Huh!? No..it isnt like that!! Soon, it is already Monday. Walking together with Hinata at the hallway, Nanoka angrily says that it is really unreasonable, she obviously helped him to finish the manuscript quickly and yet, while she is sleeping, he would secretly attack Anna. Hinata says that didnt he tell her already that it is because of anemia from not sleeping two nights straight and speaking of that, she actually didnt help much. While Hinata is saying that even if he wanted to start as the tsukkomi [/straight man in a manzai].., Nanoka exclaims, Anna doesnt like this kind of Hinata!! Its like some despot wanting to have his own way [<- sexual assault]..its so shameless!! Aghast Hinata exclaims for her to listen to what someone is saying. He asks her why Nanoka is so angry, he doesnt understand it. Walking behind them, Anna sweatdrops and thinks that those two are still quarreling. Anna greets the two. Nanoka exclaims that it is better for Anna not to get close to Hinata and she should be more defensive. Anna just laughs and asksHinata if he managed to give the manuscript this morning. Hinata says yes, and it is thanks to her. While congratulating him, Anna notices a familiar back [of a person], walking in front of her. It is Sou. Flustered Anna thinks that it is.. Looking ill, Nanoka leans on Annas shoulder and says that she always thought that compared toHinata, at that side, Nagase-kun feels more reasonable. How rotten.., is this some sort of grave illness, Hinata. *shouting at Sou* Hey, listen up, Nagase-kun--!! Yesterday, while taking advantage of Nanoka sleeping, towards Anna, Hinata..!!!

This surprises Anna and Sou. Hinata is freaking out that he shouts that Nanoka is the one who is really sick. Angrily pinching Nanokas cheek, Hinata says that it is too late now, he is going to tell Ayane about this. While Hinata pulls her away, Nanoka says that this has nothing to do with Aya-chan. Sou watches them leave. Anna tries to stop them from going ahead and just leaving her with that kind of mood there. There is a silence. Anna is mentally calling out to Nanoka. She is surprised when Sou says, And then..? *turns to Anna* towards Anna, Hinata he.. what? While looking straight at Sou, wide-eyed Anna takes a notebook from her bag and starts to write. She angrily shows him what she has written. Sorry. It is Nagase-kun who told me not to talk with him so Im not going to answer back. While Sou thinks that she is so not cute, Anna turns around and exhales. While walking away, Anna thinks that when he is curious, he would ask her what it is. Yesterday is like that. As well as today. Incomprehensible!! She stops walking and turns to look back. Sou is being called by his friend about bringing a [game?] disc. Anna thinks, but obviously, if Sou is to ask her about it one more time, she would have properly answered him. The me who think like that, is really incomprehensible. At the computer lab, Chiaki happily exclaims to her three students that they took really good pictures. They are looking at the pictures on a computer except for Anna whose imagination is going wild. Anna is thinking that she should have properly told Sou about it and isnt she the one making their relationship bad. Then, she is surprised that Chiaki mentions that she specially likes this picture that Anna took. She comments that it seems that Anna really likes to take pictures of people. Anna says that possibly, it is like that. She explains that even if it is quite moving to see how he finished drawing the manuscript but what catches her attention isHinatas change.. and it seems like he is a different person in school. When drawing the manga, he is very serious that it seems that he is very happy and very cool.. Deadpan Nanoka interrupts by saying that Hinata is just an otaku until death and she also doesnt think hes cool at all. While Aya and Anna are speechless over that, Chiaki tells Nanoka that she is so strict. Anna wonders whats up with Nanoka, who is acting strange since yesterday. Chiaki happily tells them that the pictures are better than she imagined and possibly, they can pass the preliminary and join the final competition. The girls are excited over this. Chiaki apologizes for

making them anticipate it but she really thinks that the pictures are really good. Anna is really happy to hear this.

While walking home, Anna texts [/sms] someone on her cellphone. Commanding officer! Mission is progressing without a hitch! Will continue on () Holding up her cellphone, Anna happily says, Send There is a chibi Mashiro laughing and saluting. To her surprise, Hinata is calling. Anna happily and loudly answers it, Moshi moshi!! Hinata says that shes quite lively. Anna tells him that her feelings [and mental state] are on a high after going home from the photography club. Standing outside the balcony of their classroom, Hinata says, Ah.ah.. Photography club.. Anna looks sideways at her phone in silence. She thinks that Hinata will always become silent when they talk about photography. Could it be because he doesnt want to mention about the issue with Mari-chan but I.. *Chibi imaginary Anna telling Hinata that she heard from Mochiduki-chan that he and Mari-chan sensei are in the same high school and also in the photography club, so why didnt he tell her..* Even if it is me, I also clearly know the reason, that is making the air feel heavy but.. Anna tells Hinata, ..today, while we were choosing the pictures for the preliminaries of the Photo Koshien, the teacher said that those pictures can get us pass through the preliminaries. Ill absolutely go into the finals so *shouts* You and the others in the photography club should also go into the finals!! Together with Adviser Mari-chan!! Hinata looks surprised over that but he didnt reply back. Anna thinks that the air has really become heavy. So what! Ive already anticipated this kind of silence!! Because I already know.. *closes eyes* If I were to keep pretending not to know, then nothing will also.. Anna blushes when Hinata says that at times, she is really amazing. Im sorry for not telling you much. With you, Ive always.. wasnt able to say it.. Anna asks why, is it because she said some cruel things before. There is a flashback during the summer festival. Hehe, okay so from the horses mouth, Hinata doesnt like Mari. It did seem that Anna is just jumping to that conclusion based on Hinatas actions and Mari being so flirty. As some people are joking, Hinata might actually like Sou. That will be an interesting twist but I honestly cannot imagine how things will go from there if it is really like that. If it is really Anna whom he likes, I hope that Hinata better have a very good and convincing reason for all the things that Anna has gone through because of all that..hm..misunderstanding. About the silence whenever photography is mentioned, Im beginning to think that something did happen to Hinatas arm that he couldnt draw anymore and that is why he is feeling depressed..silent whenever it is mentioned. It seems that for Anna to shout and confront it like that, has finally snapped Hinata out of whatever it is he is in. I hope that she also does that too, with Sou, soon so that they can be friends again. It does seem that Anna missed a chance to talk and the possibility of being friends with Sou again but I guess she wants him to call off that truce first before acting friendly. Hehe..well Sou is really curious whats up with Anna and Hinata. Hm..since Sou is close with Hinata, I wonder if he ever or will mention it to Hinata later on. Good thing that things are moving else Im really thinking that Hinata is not bad at all for Anna. ^^; It also seems like Nanoka likes Hinata. =P I do wonder if the lies that Nanoka is telling, will spread, or if it will have some result afterwards. Well, nevertheless, for this chapter, it served as something for Sou to ask Anna about. It made me feel kind of happy to see Sou and Anna are fighting like that. It has really been such a long time. StardustWink [Chapter 32] Wednesday, August 10, 2011 Cover page: This years summer is summers duel [/decisive Battle] In the clubroom, Chiaki has chosen 8 pictures for the competition. Aya asks if it is okay that theyll use black and white pictures. Chiaki happily says that either colored, or black and white pictures are allowed. Nanoka tells Aya that black and white pictures have a feel of being professional. Anna blankly asks if there is really no problem for them to use these pictures. Are there no other improvements need to be made? Using these pictures, can we really get in the Photo Koshiens finals? *hyper* Please do not have this right now, you are still kids so this is already the limit type of thinking! Because the limit on the other side is infinitely huge!! Theres no need to have too much misgivings!! Please, strictly guide me!! Chiaki asks whats up with her. Aya asks if Anna doesnt like the picture/s. Nanoka says that it isnt so, since reason for Annas cerebral hemorrage is that guy. Anna nervously thinks that she had promised to meet up with Hinata during the finals and this time, he said that he is going to tell her everything. But, now that I think of it properly, I totally dont have any guarantee that I can get in the finals, right? Nanoka mutters that it is good that she finally notice that. Understanding the situation, Chiaki points at Anna and shouts for her that since it is like that, she should properly think of the pictures theme. She tells Anna to think of the theme for all 8 pictures. The theme is very important!! Embodied by a theme, it can be considered as one work. Nanoka says that even if she say that but isnt the pictures the most important part. Waving her finger, Chiaki tells her not to belittle it. She takes one picture and says that they use that as an example. It is a picture of an ink bottle. She ask them if one is to use a theme [/title], wont one simply use, ink bottle. The three girls say that is true. Chiaki says, But what if the title is It starts from here. Using this ink bottle to draw something, how to go about in drawing [something], dont you think that the person who looks at the picture will think of its back story? The feeling that you had when you took the picture, try to recall what you wanted to convey. Then, pass to me this assignment on the day after tomorrow The girls are shock and exclaim that it is too early. Chiaki asks what they are talking about, the registration deadline is already very near.

In the classroom, Anna looks at sleepy Hinata and wonders what she felt then, when she took his picture. I simply felt that hes really amazing- How cool-- And.. I, why do I have that kind of feeling.. Then, Anna whispers toHinata that there is a piece of screentone sticking on his wrist. This wakes Hinata up. While thanking her, Hinataimmediately remove the screentone. Then, Anna asks him when will the manga he drew before, be published. With twinkles in her eyes, Anna says that shell absolutely go buy it. So tell me Hinata looks at her and asks if she wants to see it. Later on, at the stairs, Anna reads Hinatas manga wherein Namikaze, black haired protagonist, manages to break the defense of the opposing team during the soccer match. Kyouto, light haired protagonist, exclaims to leave the rest to him. Female lead is praying that they score a goal. Anna praises the script is very engaging. Really amazing~ It turns out that Kazami-kun can really draw!! Hinata tells her that it is messy. Anna exclaims over the part of the manga where she helped him. Holding the pages that has been stapled, Anna asks why only Hinatas manga are in there, did he cut it out from the magazine. Hinata tells her no, it is a separate print since he can get several copies of his own manga. You were my model and you also helped me with the manuscript so you should want to see it.. Thats why I brought it.. Anna exclaims is that so, he specially brought it for her. Sorry for the trouble~~ Hinata nervously says ya, but dont say it too loud. Anna happily tells him that she still wants to buy the magazine. Its really amazing!! The thing that Kazami-kun wrote at home can be conveyed to the people throughout the whole country!! Hinata says that is true and honestly, he feels that it is a miracle. Since she is puzzled, Hinata tells her that he draws a manga which he thinks is interesting and somewhere in Japan, someone will read it. There are also those who give their responses to me if they find it interesting. Its a miracle, right. The people whom I dont know their voice or appearance, yet truly, there is a moment when the feeling/s is connected. [<- Hes drawing and people reading it].

Anna looks touched by what he said. To Hinatas surprise, Anna suddenly holds his arm and says, Kazami-kun, isnt that--.. They were interrupted when someone says, What are you two doing? Its trembling Nanoka looking really aghast as she looks up to where they are. To the twos surprise, Nanoka gloomily says, I cant believe it.. Taking advantage of the time when Nanoka goes to wash her hands, youve used manga as an alibi again to get close to Anna.. *angrily shouts; Anna lets go of Hinata* Youre such a beast! Hinata nervously says that it is that again, enough already. While Hinata is walking away, Nanoka angrily tells Hinata that the model thing is already over so do not be too familiar with Anna. Scratching his head, Hinata just says, ya, ya, Im really sorry. Anna is watching them from behind. She giggles and thinks, Nanoka.. That kid, could it be that she.. If I can, I would want to once again, talk with him, some more.. *Nanoka calls Anna* But.. *looks happy* ..Ive seen it. Later on, Chiaki says, Entrusting ones thoughts through ink. She happily thinks that it is a good proposal from Anna so theyre going to use it. Anna happily asks if that is true. Aya praises Anna that shes amazing and she hasnt thought of that. Chiaki compliments Aya that hers is also quite interesting. Then, Chiaki says that Nanokas is a bit deplorable. Nanoka wrote, Die [hard] Otaku High School Student as her suggested title. Nanoka just snorts without a care. Flashing a vsign, Chiaki happily tells them that their preparation is complete so shell go and register them for the preliminaries. If the results come out, Ill inform you guys immediately, so look forward to that!! *Aya seems happy while Anna is tense* The results will be published on the middle third of June. Anna thinks, Ive done what I can do, and whats left is to say ones prayers. God, Buddha, [Shining] Star, let me advance in the Photo Koshiens finals--

At her apartment, Anna wipes her perspiration and thinks that it is late because after the club, she went on a detour to visit a shrine. Then, to her shock, she sees a notice on the elevators door. The sign says that the elevator is on its regular inspection so hope everyone would cooperate [and understand the situation]. Anna thinks that it cannot be helped that she has to climb the stairs. At the stairs, she looks up to see Sou trying to pick up some instant ramen bowls that had fallen down. Thinking that Sous plastic bag has broken, Anna asks if he is okay. To her irritation, Sou just turns around and keeps on walking with a high pile of instant ramen bowls which he had already picked up. Anna angrily thinks, What.. At times, hell ignore me.. At times, hell start a conversation.. Even if Im also like that, but.. Then, Sous pile of ramen bowls had fallen all over the place again. Sou quietly picks them up. Holding one of the bowls, Anna holds up her cellphone to Sou which says, Buying so many all of a sudden, that is why you are now in this difficult situation! Carrying four ramen bowls, Sou writes back on his cellphone, After the notebook, you are now using a cellphone. You really have brains-- Carrying three ramen bowls, Anna is irked by that. Anna writes, Is that the kind of attitude you should have, towards someone who is helping you!!! Sou writes back, Even if you ignore me, it is also okay. Anna writes, Hey, how can I just ignore it!! Sou writes back, Its no problem for me to carry it all by myself. Anna writes, You obviously couldnt carry [them all]!! Then, she tosses the bowls and exclaims that it is too much of a hassle [to talk using the cellphone]. Sou sweatdrops and thinks that she is the one who started it. Anna shouts, Sou! Before, Ive always wanted to ask you so let me take this opportunity to ask you clearly. Sou, even if you said before that temporarily lets keep some distance from each other but, that temporarily, is too vague!! So clearly tell me the specifics!! Sou goes, Huh? After picking up the bowls again, Anna tells him that it isnt about how many months but like what is the longest time or shortest time for it. Aghast Sou tells her that she totally doesnt comprehend that kind of question and hes scared of her being short circuit [<-simple-minded]. Anna is puzzled by what he meant by short circuit. Sou shouts that she obviously doesnt understand so she shouldnt get herself entangled in something strange. Just dont mind me, and it is okay to just let me live a normal life. because I cannot do it, that is why I came to ask you? Anna thinks that she is a bit surprised by herself. Obviously, so near but I still cannot talk with Sou, I..

Sou looks at her and sighs. Aghast, Anna apologizes to him and tells him to forget what she just said. Shell also go look at the dictionary as to what short circuit means. Sou sweatdrops and says that it is too late to say that now. Then, let me tell you--.. The shortest time limit is when Hinata believes me. *Anna looks surprised* I also do not know why that guy started to not believe what Ive said before. What is that tactic. Sou asks her that werent she and Hinata going to appear in that Koshiensomething competition. Walking behind him, Anna asks how come he knows.. Sou tells him that Hinata told him and his relationship with Hinata is really good. Irritated Anna tells him that hes saying childish things again, her relationship with Hinata is better than his and Hinatas relationship. Sou asks her if she wants to compare. Anna insists that her relationship with Hinata is better. Sou tells her not to talk about that. If you are going to see Hinata, help me tell [/persuade] him, There is also a time when you should believe the thing that Sou said. Stupid. Idiot. That type of stuff. *looks thoughtful* Generally, that is the quickest way. Surprised Anna asks if it is okay if she just to say those things to Hinata. Just tell [/persuade] him then, theres no need to keep this distance!? Sou didnt answer. Sou is surprised when Anna happily climbs up the stairs faster than him. She says, If thats it, then its too simple Sou asks her how come she knows. To his surprise, Anna exclaims, I know!! *turns to Sou* Because how is it possible for Hinata not to believe you [Sou]! *points at Sou* But!! You already cannot take back what youve said!! Mie- hahahaha Anna happily whistles while going up stairs. Sou looks up at her then sighs. He mutters, Totally doesnt understand. Narration: Riding on with everyones thoughts, summer starts. In order to reach the goal, I[/we] should absolutely get in the finals!! At the clubroom, Chiaki tells the girls that the preliminary results are out. She apologizes to them for not thinking since she had said some things that made them anticipate.. The three girls braces themselves for the news.

So, did they get in or not? Is the author just teasing with a cliffhanger or they really didnt get in. It reminds me of the time when we thought that Hinata likes Anna and she is going to confess when Mari appears. Is the author a killjoy? =P Two major things are on the line for Anna to finally resolve things with her childhood friends. So, will the author resolve these things soon or drag it? Ugh..and this is a series that I cannot easily predict. Maybe it is too much of a lucky chance for them to get in the finals and well, maybe Hinata didnt get in either so the trio can at least spend more time with each other during the summer. It seems that Sou wont be joining them to Hokkaido if they do win. Anyway, it seems that something is up between Hinata and Sou, too. What could be the thing that Sou is referring to that Hinata should believe him? Is it about Hinata not believing that Sou has given up on Anna or is it something about Mari? Interestingly, it seems that Sou is a bit insecure or belittles his relationship with his childhood friends. Before, Hinata has to reassure him that Anna cannot hate him because of their quarrel before his last, last birthday. This time around, Anna is confident that Hinata believes Sou at all times, contrary to what he thinks. It makes me re-think about whether Sou or Anna is closer to Hinata. Before, I would say that it is Sou because Hinata tells him almost everything that he hasnt told Anna but from this chapter, I got the impression that it isnt only about how much things being told to the other. Closeness can also be how much one believes and understands the other..ah, something that isnt only about how much one knows of the other, but more of the feelings and other intangible things. Well, its great that Anna is being proactive especially since it get things moving ^^ And obviously, Nanoka likes Hinata which I think Anna also noticed. =P Scans by allwink. In the clubroom, Chiaki tells the girls that the preliminary results are out. ..Sorry, everyone, I said some things without thinking that made you guys anticipate.. Anna is already crying ala waterfalls. This utterly shocks Chiaki. Nanoka exclaims that shes already crying and that is too quick. Aya nervously tells Anna that is right, and the teacher hasnt finished telling them the results. Anna tearfully says that it is because from that opening statement, she knows already that they werent chosen. Aghast Chiaki nervously tells Anna not to cry, its her fault for she only wants to put them in suspense. Crying Anna asks, Suspense? Chiaki says right. Flashing a v-sign, Chiaki exclaims that they smoothly pass through the preliminaries. Congratulations, you got into the finals!! While the other two girls exclaim if it is true, Nanoka sighs in relief and tells Chiaki not to recklessly make them nervous. Scratching her head, Chiaki sheepishly apologizes for maybe she went over the top. Teary-eyed Anna is utterly relieved and delighted that she manages to get in the finals, and shell be able to see Hinata. Thinking that she can see Hinata, Anna feels a bit fidgety and Aya notices this. Aya winks at Anna and tells her that today, they can already go home, and she thinks that Hinata would also want to learn early about the news. Anna is touched by what Aya-sama said. To the others surprise, Anna shouts that shes going ahead. Anna runs out and mentally tells Hinata that she managed to get in the finals. While walking on the street, Anna is talking on the phone with Hinata. Anna exclaims out loud after Hinata informed her that he also managed to pass through the preliminaries. This made Hinata ask what happened. She tells him that it is nothing, she just cannot calm herself down. Hinata comments that shes quite lively. Anna asks if they can really see each other at the competition. Hinata smiles and confesses that actually, he heard that Anna and the others are novices so he was a bit uneasy [but you guys are] really amazing. Anna is really happy and says that is true, she didnt expect that theyll smoothly pass through the preliminaries, so could it be that this competition is actually easy. Hinata calls her stupid for what she is saying, for how could it be [easy]. Anna is surprised when Hinata tells her that in this years contest, there are 400 schools that participated in the preliminaries. Only 18 schools can go into the finals. Not only that, every year, the finals are shown on the television. And, I think that a lot of people will go and get news [/interview] about it. This isnt a conveniently created convention by some mangaka. [<- reality check by the author =P] Annas brain has gone blank that she mutters, 400.. Television.. Hinata sweatdrops and tells her that later on, shell know [what he is talking about].

The next day, Anna is surprised to see a huge banner hanging down at their school building. The banner is a congratulations to the school for its winning entry into the finals of the Photo Koshien. Then, at the auditorium, the principal calls out to First year section 1s Aso Ayane, and First year section 5s Koshiro Anna and Saeki Nanoka, to go onstage. While the three girls timidly stand in front of all the students, the principal shouts that this is a congratulations since it is the first time their school got into Photo Koshisen [finals]. Holding up his fist, he shouts, Everyone in school, let us give them a supporting response as we anticipate an even more outstanding performance!! The whole place echoes with the students simultaneous shout of Yo. Anna tensely thinks that they even shout yo that it makes her think that they did something really amazing. At the faculty room, Chiaki asks what is it, is it only now that they realize how heavy this is. Aghast Anna asks if it is really okay for them to compete since they are totally novices. Chiaki asks what she is talking about, there isnt time for them to get cold feet because they will be so busy before the competition begins, but first, shell give them something. Anna asks her what this white t-shirt with a small logo in front, is for. Chiaki tells them that this t-shirt is given to schools that have pass through the preliminaries. Everyone will wear this t-shirt at the competition. Each school can freely decorate it. Using this t-shirt, you can write words on it or perhaps dye it. Its no problem. Since this is a team-type thing, compared to just wearing it, how about you guys re-design it together! While Nanoka tells Aya that is a good idea, Anna asks if they can really change it on their own. Sweatdropping Chiaki says yes, but the principal already put something on it so it might be limited on how they can re-design it. At the back, look at the back. At the back of the t-shirt, there is a huge kanji [which means shout/katsu is a type of shout that is used in Chn and Zen Buddhism to give expression to one's own enlightened state (Japanese: satori) and/or to induce another person to move beyond rationality and logic and, potentially, achieve an initial enlightenment experience. Source: wiki]. While walking at the hallway, the girls look at the t-shirt. Aya asks if that is written by the principal. Anna comments that their principal is very enthusiastic and he was quite amazing in that morning assembly. Nanoka sighs and says that if they are going to re-design it, she would want to make it look cuter.

To Anna and Nanokas surprise, Aya says that she still would like to change it. Anna tensely says that even if she said that, it is something designed by the principal [so how can they change it]. Pointing to the t-shirt, Aya says that they can still write something else at the side of whats written in the middle. Aya suggests that the club members writing some encouraging words which was also an example mentioned by the teacher. Brightening up, Anna says that is a good idea. Aya says that since their members are too few, they can get their classmates to write on it and the result wont be that bad. While Nanoka hugs Aya for her great idea, Anna becomes nervous about getting classmates to write on it. In class, some girls are shouts if it is the Photo Koshien, the one mentioned in todays morning assembly. Another girl asks if it is the one shown on the television, wherein the competition will be held in Hokkaido. While someone is mentioning that katsu is quite amazing, Nanoka tells everyone to write some supporting words on the three t-shirts pinned on the blackboard. Anna timidly tells them that they hope that everyone would give them a part of their strength.. Some students gamely say that they will write something. While they are writing on it, Anna is nervously looking around. Then, the door opens. Sou and his friend come in the room. Sous friend asks what the ruckus is all about. Anna looks tensely surprise at Sou. While Sou also looks at her, Sous fangirl tells them about writing some supporting words on the t-shirts. To the envy of two other fangirls, a fangirl holds out a marker pen to Sou and tells him to use it to write. Sou bluntly tells the girl that theres no need. While the fangirl is aghast by the rejection, Sou tells Tokiwa [his friend] to write. Tokiwa whistles and says that hell be the one to write in place of Sou. While a friend comforts the rejected fangirl, Anna wonders if that girl is alright. She thinks that Sou refused because she is part of the photography club. Scowling, she looks away and thinks that it is fine with her if he doesnt write. Pause. It doesnt matter.. Then, Anna ends up being depressed. Nanoka goes to Hinataand tells him that it is okay if he wants to go write something on the t-shirt. Hinata angrily asks why she is saying it like shes ordering him. That night, Sou with glasses, stops studying and looks at the messages on his cellphone. On June 20, 2011 at 13:02, Hinata wrote to him that he passed the preliminaries- and he doesnt know if Anna also did. *beep* [<- not sure if it is the sound of reading a different message or

deleting the message.] Hinata wrote again that he was planning to write a message to Anna but she already called. Anna and the others had also passed the preliminaries. Sou looks serious. *beep* Sou, what you are saying is the same with Anna. (_`) This isnt a simple competition=3 How about you, Sou, are you also going to Hokkaido? Then, Sou drops his [closed flip] cellphone on the floor. Then, he looks thoughtful.

In her room, Anna wears the t-shirt and tries to look at its back where a sun-like words of encouragement in written around the middle of the word katsu. She happily says that it looks good. While spacing out, she felt really happy for everyone from the classroom wrote on it. Ah..except for one person who didnt. *sigh; looks sad* Forget it, if I put all my effort on the shortest route.. [<- to attain her goals?] Then, someone says, You are wearing at home, the t-shirt that will be used for the contest. What am I to do about that? Hm.. Anna is surprised for it is Sou. Holding a marker pen, Sou is leaning by her door. After removing the pens cap, Sou points the marker to write. He says that hell just do whatever he can. Lend me your back for a while. Aghast Anna shouts that this is too strange. You are just going into someones room at will and isnt this a normal conversation!! Sou tells her to consider it that they are both only, talking to themselves. Anna says that is too forced. Sou tells her not to move and also her hair is quite a hindrance. After gathering her hair and putting it in front of her, Anna says that she didnt think he would give her supporting words but then, why is he so arrogant. Twirling the marker, Sou tells her to relax, he isnt giving her supporting words. Angry and aghast, Anna asks to whom is he giving it. Then, Sou holds her shoulder and starts to write on her back. Looking semi-sad [/probably nostalgic], Anna says that his hand is quite warm. Sou asks if it is so, its very normal. Anna wonders if being like this is something normal. Later on, Sou says that hes finished writing. Trying to look at it, Anna asks what he wrote, she wants to see. Sou sighs and says that even if she doesnt see it, it is okay. Ah, but let Hinata see it because it is supporting words for Hinata. Anna is fuming mad. Hey!! Forget it if you dont want to give me supporting words. But, you better remember that agreement! Sou asks, Agreement? Looking energetic, Anna shouts, Didnt you

say that if I make Hinata believe in you, then theres no need for this maintain distance from each other!! Im definitely going to convince [/talk over] with Hinata, so you just properly wait for it! Then, the door opens and Annas mother comes in. After greeting Sou, she says that he came by, and it has been such a long time. Sou says that hes interrupting. [<- being polite] Annas mother says that he still quite thin, has he been eating well. Anna tearfully shouts at her mother that right now, they are talking about something important. Annas mother pouts and leaves, muttering that it is only for a while.

Anna asks Sou if he has been listening. Sou asks what she is talking about. Surprised, Anna exclaims that she is talking about that agreement. Sou says, ah, yes. Thats right, I heard it. *getting ready to leave the room* Its okay [for me] to nicely wait, while waving my tail. *sighs* As Sou leaves her house, Anna imagines doggie Sou waving his tail while waiting. Then, she remembers to look at what Sou had written. She takes off the t-shirt and reads it. After glaring at it, she sweatdrops and thinks, ?, What is this.. Narration: Preparation is already done. *plane flying* Lets go! Leaving for Photo Koshien!! Then, at some lodging area, Anna shouts, We- AreHere--~~ Hokkaido--!!! Nanako screams, Higashikawa-- While the two are shouting Oh ya-!!, sweatdropping Aya looks at the two and says that they are really in a high mood. Sweatdropping Chiaki calls out to the two that they are leaving them, and didnt they already do that at the airport. While walking, Chiaki says that they are now going to the villa that has been designated as the competitions living quarters. Aya asks if she is going to stay with them. Chiaki says yes, and because eight people can stay at that villa, so some people from another school will use it. While someone is saying ah, other people, huh, Anna spots a familiar figure standing in front of her, together with [what seems to be] two girls. Annas eyes widen. She shouts, Hinata!? While Nanoka peeks from Annas side to look at Hinata, Anna cannot believe that it is really Hinata. Hinata seems surprised to see her. Just when Anna is saying that no way, could it be that we are in the same villa.., someone says, Koshiro-chan? Peeking out from Hinatas back, Mari exclaims, So it is!! Why is Koshiro-chan here? Anna looks aghast. While the two teachers introduce themselves, Anna backs

away and thinks, Already appeared-- That's right.. in Hinatas high school, this person exists. Hinata quietly looks sideways at Mari. With a smile, Mari says that Anna is also in a photo club, its rare for them to see each other and regretfully, they are enemies here. But, its a competition so everyone should be fair and square in doing our utmost best to win the first prize Right, Tokura-kun. Somewhat tense and glum, Hinata just looks at her. Then, Anna remembers Mashiro telling her that to know Hinatas feelings, she has to defeat Mari-sensei. Looking determined, Anna shouts to smiling Mari, That is what I also hope for!!

Yay..they really got in the competition. The author is just teasing us in the last cliffhanger. ^^; To see how Anna and Nanoka getting excited, I also feel excited..yes, this is it..face off with Mari, know more whats up with Hinata and finally, friends with Sou again..soon. Everything is on the line here for Anna so with Mashiros advice, she should stop cowering down from Mari and fight. ^^ Even if she and the others do not win this competition, I sure hope she gets her friends back. ^_^ I think this is a four day competition, and I am kind of hoping that Sou would also go there since it seems such a long time since the three were together. But, I guess he really does seem to have some issues with Hinata. Oh well, maybe Hinata will go back home during the rest of the summer vacation. Aside from what is going on with Hinata and Mari, Im also curious whats going on between Hinata and Sou because they are always communicating yet it seems that there is something wrong..something about Hinata not trusting Sou. Also, what did Sou write on Annas t-shirt? Hehe..a love note? Joke. =P I wonder if it is part of Sous pride of not wanting to write some encouraging words that he just claim it is for Hinata..and well, at least, he did write something on her shirt. =P Like before, Hinata is acting really odd with Mari. With Mari always smiling like that, Im beginning to wonder if she is really like that or it is a fake smile. ^^; The way she always greets Anna seems oddly fake. I had a funny idea. Hinatas teammates seem to be both girls from that scene. If I am right, then, this means, in one villa, there are 7 girls and 1 guy. And, if there are only 4 rooms there, who will sleep with Hinata? =P Fufufu..will that be the first battle between Anna and Mari? Hehe, maybe the other girls just squeeze together and let Hinata have his own

room. =P This chapter made me think that Aya is not such a bad girl..problems will be solved if Sou just falls for her. I mean if Sou doesnt end up with Anna, he still has Aya and Beni..if Hinata doesnt..he has..ah..hehe..Mari or Coco. =P I wonder what the real reason why Sou turned down that girl who is lending him that pen. Is it really because of Anna being in the club? Or, it is because Sou doesnt want any other girls falling for him or acting like that with him, in front of Anna? Maybe, it is both. On a side note, Sou looks quite mature with glasses..Im still hoping that the author would at least draw the two group of childhood friends as to what they would look like when they are adults..I would love to see that. ^^ Anyway, since Nanoka is there and Anna is in a fighting mood, I think Anna will have more success in dealing with Hinata and Mari, unlike before. Narration: Hello, everyone Having an unrequited love towards [my] childhood friend, I, Koshiro Anna, 15 years old, have just arrive in Hokkaido to participate in the finals of the Photo Koshien!! *Anna winks, sticks out tongue and flashes v-sign* Hinata, my childhood friend, told me that this time in the final competition, he will tell me his answer to my confession, but.. *Mari comes in between them and says, A-ra..why is Koshiro-chan here-?* Every time, always, at this point, Kobayashi Mari-sensei will come into the scene. She is obvious a teacher and yet, she would do those kind of things to Hinata, *remembers Mari kissing Hinata and Mari explaining to Anna and Sou before regarding her actions* Ah, those stuff about this person.. Every time I see this person, towards her, I would always feel... Inside the villa, Mari happily exclaims that no wonder it is a place that can be used by 8 people, it is so spacious. Wont it be lucky if there are only four people from one school who can use this small house, Tokura-kun. Hinata tells her that it is no big deal to him. Looking ill, Anna is hiding behind Nanokas back while looking at Hinata and the others. She thinks that it is really bad for she wanted to talk with Hinata but that woman is always nearby. Physiologically[?], I cannot stand being totally close with that person. Speaking of that, senseis body is touching him too much!! Dont always stick around him! While Aya and Nanoka are looking at cowering Anna, Chiaki informs them that the advisers will be staying at the first

floors bedrooms and everyone else will be staying on the second floor. After leaving your things inside, we will quickly be going out again!! At the second floor, Nanoka happily points out to Aya that there is a balcony there. Anna is looking at Hinatas group when she overhears the long dark color haired girl asking Hinata if he will be okay since he is the only boy there. While Hinata goes, Ah.., the short light color haired girl says that it is alright. For it also seems that Tokura-kun is the type who doesnt have sexual desire [/lust]. Aya and Nanoka are nervously surprised over that while Anna is nervously blushing really red over what kind of extreme [/serious] conversation is that. But, thats right, I only purely think that Im very happy to be together with Hinata but.. being the only guy can be comparatively hard..

Dark haired girl exclaims to the other what she is saying. The light haired girl asks if there is [/does Hinata have it]. Gloomy looking Hinata just keeps quiet. The light haired girl sighs and tells him, Im just joking. Dont take it seriously, first year student. The other girl angrily scolds the other. Then, the girl says, But, Im saying the truth. He himself understands [/knows] it the most. Kind of if he is going to mess around with some disastrous thing, it will become very bad. Anna is puzzled by that comment but Chiaki already calls out to them that they dont have time to chat because after eating dinner, they have an icebreaker activity. Anna is surprised for it is already time. Soon, it is night. In the bus, sleepy Hinata is sitting at the near front seat while Anna is sitting at the backmost seat. Aghast, she wonders what to do for it is quite rare for her to be this close to Hinata and yet, she totally cannot talk with him. Speaking of that, will there really be a time when the two of us can be alone together!? Looking at this booklet, the itinerary is also quite intensive.. and I obviously still have an agreement with Sou.. Im starting to feel quite uneasy!! Inside a huge building, wherein everyone is walking around, Anna hears someone calling out to her. She turns around to see Hinata gesturing for her to come to her while also gesturing for her to be quiet. Teary-eyed Anna holds her arms open and calls out to him. Hinata tells her that following up what they had talked about before. Surprised Anna asks if they are going to talk about it there. While telling her to be quiet, Hinata tells her no, for how can they talk in front of, so many people. The itinerary at noon

is already full, that we can only see each other secretly at night. *whispers* So, Ive come to talk it over with you. *Anna freaks out for it is night and secretly* Wont there be an icebreaker activity and opening ceremony tonight and tomorrow night? So, I think that it is better to come out during these two nights before the competition formally starts. *Anna exclaims that today is okay* Even if Ive said at night, but it is only between the time to take a bath and when the lights are out. *Anna exclaims that she will quickly take a bath* About taking a bath, it will at a nearby hotel and walking from the villa [where they are staying], would take around 10 minutes. Then, after taking a bath, Ill wait for you outside the hotel. Anna is tense for finally, she can hear out Hinatas follow-up words. The reply to the confession..

Then, at the side, Mari is asking the two other girls where Hinata is. They answer that they dont know. Seeing them, Hinata says that this is bad for they had noticed [that he is gone]. I should quickly leave. Holding up her hand, Anna exclaims for him to wait. Hinata, I still have something that I wanted to say!! Sou asked me to. This will be quick!! Hinata is surprised that he asks, Huh, Sou? Anna asks, Hinata, you believe in Sou, right!? Hinata comments that is like the line of some church persuading people = Do you believe in God?. Anna continues, Sou said Hinata doesnt believe what Ive said but Hinata, you dont think that way, right!? Hinata says, No..sorry, I really dont understand what you are talking about. *surprise* Speaking of that, Anna, were you talking with Sou lately? Did the two of you reconcile? Flustered Anna tells him that even if they havent reconciled and right now, she cannot talk with Sou, is because they are to temporarily keep distance [from each other]. But, this temporarily is too vague so Ive asked Sou, to concretely tell me when that is and, afterwards.. She is surprised when Hinata holds up his hand and says, Okay, stop. *nervous* ..from what youve just said, youve really talked with Sou, right? *Puzzled Anna says, yes.* Anna directly [talked] with Sou? *Anna says, yes* Like, Up to when is this keep distance from each other? Anna replies, Yes, and afterwards, he kind of said, The fastest way is to make Hinata believe what Ive said--.. Hinata looks totally shocked. Hinata mutters, --can believe. Anna asks, huh? Looking really dark, Hinata looks away and says, Really cannot believe. Anna

looks aghast and tense. After a long pause, Anna says, Hinata.. are you angry? Hinata replies, ..sure enough, I still do not want to talk about the follow-up of that topic. This surprises Anna. To her surprise, Hinata turns away to leave. Anna calls out to him and tells him to wait but she freezes upon seeing Mari calling out to Hinata. Mari touches Hinatas left shoulder and says, Geez- you are at this kind of place. Didnt I tell you that the ice breaker activity is going to start soon--? Hinata hits Maris hand off him and says, Sorry, [but] dont always touch me like this. This made Anna really aghast and tense. Without a doubt, Hinata has blown his top.. And then, even if I know he is angry, but I still do not know as to why he is angry. *sweatdrop* Why--!?

In the villa, the advisers had gathered everyone together to give them a briefing about tomorrows activities. Chiaki asks if everyone had already taken a bath. We will have breakfast at 7am but temporarily, we wont be coming back here so everyone ought to prepare their things. And, afterwards, we are going to ride the bus to the meeting place, and then--.. While everyone is listening and looking at their booklets, Anna sadly looks at Hinatas direction. At night, Anna is lying on a futon along with the rest of the girls [including the ones in Hinatas group, it seems]. Anna cannot sleep. From then on, not even once, did I have eye contact with Hinata. Why do I feel that this is the first time for Hinata to be this angry.. *nervous smile and tearyeyed while holding her blanket tight* And, if I were to ask him I dont know what he is angry about, it seems that I will be thoroughly be more hated by him.. *anxious and closes her eyes* What to do.. I wont want this. When [hes] obviously so near-- Hinata dreams of the past. Flashback: During elementary, the school bell is ringing. Hinata is putting his things and textbook in his bag. Then one of his classmates exclaimed to the others that theyll go play battle [/trading] cards at his house. A couple of the boys shouted that they want to go, too. Someone exclaimed that they also call Yuuta []. Ah, also Hinata, should we call him [to join us]? This made Hinata glance at their direction. One of the boys said, Ah- dont. That guy totally wont talk. Hes boring to death. If its Yuuta then, its okay. The other boy said, okay, then theyll meet up at his house. Hinata looked somewhat sad about that. Then,

there is a sound of footsteps running towards him. A dark haired boy [Sou] suddenly pushed him from behind and called out, Hinata! Hahaha, Im sorry, were you startled? Ah-- although it is deliberate. *Speechless, surprised Hinata looked at him.* Lets quickly go home- Ive borrowed a new game from Mashiro!! *smiled* Hinata, do you want to play it together [with me]? End flashback.

Hinata hears someone calling, ..nata. Hinata opens his eyes to see Anna sadly looking at him and calling his name again. Then, Hinatas eyes open wide. Startled, he quickly backs away. [And, I think he just/almost hit his head on the wall because he is sleeping at the corner of the room.] Anna apologizes to him for noisily waking him up. Still looking surprised, Hinata says, No.. Ah..what is it.. He stops talking upon seeing Anna looking really sad. At the forest area and the moon is peeking out some clouds, Anna says, Im really sorry that at this time.. but, I also cannot stay like that.. Hinata smiles and tells her that going there is quite good. I also want to apologize to you, Anna. Somewhat flustered, Anna slightly bows her head and says, Theres no need to apologize. It is also okay. If you do not to want to talk about that topic, then forget about it. *Hinata looks surprised* But, I would want you to tell me as to why you are angry.. *teary-eyed* Ill completely change the no good areas. If you also do not want to tell me.. Anna is surprised when Hinata suddenly hugs her. He tells her, Do not cry anymore, please. Actually, I fundamentally have no right to be angry. Ive made you perplexed again and made you cry when Ive obviously had come to an awareness [/understanding]. Anna pulls away and looks at him. She asks him, Awareness is..? Hinata looks at her and remembers the time when the younger him was playing a game console with Sou. Flashback: Sou is concentrating in his game. Hinata glanced at him. Sou noticed this. This surprised Hinata and made him slightly nervous. Sou then happily shows a huge smile at him. End flashback. Looking sad, Hinata mutters, Awareness of betrayal. He then holds Annas hand and kisses surprised Anna on the lips. After the kiss, Hinata says, About this, Ive always wanted to say it out, that I also like you, Anna.

Finally, the author confirmed as to what Hinatas feelings for Anna is. This is kind of what Ive expected since after what happened last summer, this is the summer to make it all up though Im surprised that it happened so soon. I thought it will be for a few more chapters..hehe, this author really likes to surprise me. Almost three-fourths of the chapter did make me think that the author is going to drag it because Hinata suddenly chickens out again over his answer to the confession. Im curious as to what Sou wanted him to believe. Could it that it is okay for Hinata to be with Anna or he is giving up on Anna? Even if Hinata claims not to believe it, he seems intent at first to confess to Anna..so thats probably for Annas sake. I guess he is really torn between the two and this would probably explain as to why Hinata would sometimes act like he likes Anna and sometimes not. He doesnt want to feel that he is betraying his good buddy/best friend Sou who, after all, was kind enough to approach and befriend him before when no one else would, and yet, on the other side, he likes Anna and after everything that has happened, she still likes him. I think the reason why Hinata has been reporting to Sou everything because he doesnt want Sou to think that hes betraying him and doing something with Anna behind his back. I believe that Sou already knows about this happening and Hinatas feelings for Anna. This is probably why he looks quite serious before Anna left and it is connected to whatever message that Sou wrote on Annas t-shirt for Hinata. And, I guess for Anna to be fooled and insensitively tried to make him date some other girl is the last straw for him..that Anna doesnt think of him the same way. Sou probably decided to do what Hinata did before, and that is to quarrel/stop seeing Anna and give way to the other guy. Their friendship is really touching. Things regarding Anna can be really complicated because they are really close with each other. I wonder if Sou ever regretted confessing to Anna because things between the three of them started to get all messed up because of it. Now, regarding Mari..we still dont know her connection with Hinata. My theory is that Mari being a busybody and a wannabe cupid type, knows about Hinatas love problems which he is keeping to himself but she probably might not know that it is Anna..ah, maybe. Whether it is that or not, I think that Hinata doesnt want Anna to be involved with Mari and probably do not want Anna to know his secret. That is what Im thinking as the reason why Hinata suddenly pulled his

hand away from Anna when Mari arrived..or he is always acting distant from Anna whenever Mari is there. Im not too sure as to how far Hinata got with Mari who seems to want to comfort him but she is somewhat crossing the line. I was wondering why it took him this long to finally make Mari stop touching him like that. Well, he is totally angry then so he probably no longer cares about being polite. While thinking of this, I suddenly remembered a former classmate of mine in high school wherein the others are joking that the married [male] teacher likes him because the teacher would always put his hands on the classmates shoulder while having a lecture. It made me realize that maybe Hinata isnt protesting much because Mari is an adult, and a teacher..and he does need some comforting since he is going to sacrifice his happiness with Anna for Sou. He does seem to act more uneasy about the touching during the date at the zoo since he is already on a more active role of pursuing Anna. Finally, I like what the author did with this chapter. It is kind of romantic to be plotting about secretly meeting at night even if they arent really a couple yet. For Hinata, his confession does seem bittersweet..he felt betraying Sou and yet he wants to tell Anna that he likes her, too. So, will the two become a couple after this trip? Could it be that after this, it will be Annas turn to patch up those two guys? But I hope that the author will tell us the deal with Mari in the next upcoming chapters. Anna looks surprised after Hinata told her that he always wanted to say it out, that he also likes her. Anna goes, ..eh. is what youre saying true? This surprises Hinata that he asks what that means. Waving her hand, Anna says that it is because she hasnt heard about this. Hinata tells her that it is because this is the first time that he said it. Anna exclaims that he still has that thing with sensei [Mari]. He tells her that he already said that the person I like isnt sensei. Confused Anna shouts, But you and sensei kissed!! Looking dark, Hinata asks is she going to talk about that now. Flustered Anna says that this cannot be, that vague, unclear hoodwink past. I have no way of accepting some cheering up miracle drug type of stuff!! Looking down, Hinata tells her that he doesnt have that kind of special feelings with Mari. Flashback: Anna told surprised Hinata that Sou had confessed to her and they are going steady. Flashback 2: Mari telling Hinata that he looks down, and did he know

that there is a magic that can cheer him up. Hinata says, If I can like someone else other than you, Anna, it doesnt matter whoever the other party is. But, in the end, Im unexpectedly stubborn, no matter what, I still felt that you are better [than the rest]. Anna exclaims, I also like you, Hinata!! As they held hands, Anna tells herself not to mind about that thing with Mari. I like Hinata. Hinata said he also likes me. This is enough. Unexpectedly, I can welcome the day for this to come [true]. In front of the villa, Hinata tells Anna to go in first since it might not be good if they go in together. It is best that there is some time in between, before we go in. Blushing Anna goes in and thinks that it is quite strange, for it is obviously not their first time to hold hands, and yet her heart is beating quite fast. While Hinata looks away, Anna continues to think that she wont be able to sleep tonight. The next day, Chiaki happily exclaims that if they are already prepared, it is time for them to head out. While Nanoka is telling Aya that she felt embarrassed by their t-shirt, Anna thinks that as expected, she didnt get to sleep last night. She wonders if Hinata get to sleep last night and very soon, they will come back. She notices that Hinata and his other members only dyed their t-shirt, and nothing is written on it.

She suddenly remembers something. She calls out to Hinata and shows him her tshirt. Hinata says that it is amazing that her classmates wrote supporting words when the number of t-shirts given, corresponds with the days of the competition. Anna says that the whole class wrote on them as well as Sou. But, Sou said he is writing for you. He said, Show it to Hinata.. Ah, its this one.. this one.. *On the t-shirt, Sou has written, 8/18. Im working.* Hinata, do you know what it means? I totally felt that it isnt some supporting.. *sees Hinata looking really glum and tense* Hinata? Hinata thanks her for showing it to him. He tells her that they are leaving so she better keep her shirt well. Anna is totally puzzled over Hinatas reaction and could it be that Hinata also doesnt know what it meant. At the bus, Anna wonders out loud as to whats with Aug 18th. Her friends help her think. Then, Aya says that this years fireworks display will be on Aug. 18th. Anna suddenly exclaims, Thats it!! Nanoka asks her whats up all of a sudden. Anna explains that it is Sous supporting words, and he will be at work during the fireworks display. She tells them that every year, the

three of them would go there to watch it together. She says that she doesnt quite understand it since Sous parttime job doesnt really matter. Aya giggles and says that is really like Sous style. It might be not too easily understood but it definitely means to say, This year, Hinata-kun and Anna-chan, the two of you, go watch the fireworks display together. *Anna looks surprised by this* Speaking of that, Anna-chan, yesterday, you and Hinata-kun sneaked out. I saw you guys~ Nanoka exclaims is that so. Nanoka happily asks if things went very smoothly. Anna is embarrassed as Aya congratulates her. After the conclusion of the xth Photo Koshiens opening ceremony, Anna calls out to Hinata and tries to say something. She thinks that Hinata definitely understood Sous message about the two of you, go watch the fireworks display together, and she can read Hinatas expression of absolutely not being happy about the two of them [together at the fireworks display?].

To her surprise, Hinata tells Anna that this years fireworks display, the two of them are going to watch them because Sou said that he has work. Anna tries to object but Hinata says that it cannot be helped for she and Sou are currently keeping distance from each other. Anna thinks is that so and no matter what, this year.. She is surprised when Hinata continues to say, Or rather than Anna, I think Sou do not want to see me anymore. Anna asks him if he is serious with what he said. Hinata didnt reply. Anna feels like crying that she suddenly shouts, Hinata, youre such a fool, big idiot!! Natural Perm [curly hair]!! Hinata looks surprised over being called natural perm. Anna is already running off. Hate. I hate this. awareness of betrayal. Does it mean this? Even if my feelings with Hinata are mutual, right now, he cannot totally be happy. It is obvious that Hinata himself has been feeling that way. Why would he say that.. There is a scene of Hinata looking sad. At the street, Chiaki tells the girls that it is finally starting, Photo Koshiens first stage. The topic is Encounter. Has everyone thought properly of what style in photography you are going to use? While Anna is looking glum, Aya says that since the topic is encounter, then she thinks that they should be taking pictures of people. Nanoka happily exclaims that no wonder its Aya [for thinking that]. When they ask her about her opinion, Anna snaps out of it and says, ha. Aghast Chiaki that her response

shouldnt be ha and the competition is already starting. This shocks Anna and made her look aghast. Pointing at Anna, Nanoka tells her to concentrate a bit. Anna apologizes and mutters that it is more correct to say that she is the fool and big idiot. While Aya thinks that Nanoka could actually say that, Nanoka continues to tell Anna that they are already at this stage and why is she suddenly distressed about something. It is starting, understand!? Narration/Aya/Nanoka: Its impossible for all 3 of them to have a happy blissful ending!! In a classroom, some students are happily saying that it is a camera, so take their picture. Long haired senpai is playing with the kids while the short haired senpai is holding up her camera in order for the kids not to grab it. Some kids are looking at Hinata checking his camera. Then, Hinata notices a sadlooking boy, alone by himself, looking at him, before looking at his book. Narration/Aya: Even if both Hinata-kun and Nagase-kun likes Anna, there is only one Anna. Hinata takes a picture of the boy holding his notebook, and the boy reminds him of his younger self.

Later on, it is the start of the public examination meeting and, Hinatas group is first called onstage. As they head in front, some students are muttering that this will be broadcast on the internet. In a dark room, Sou is watching it on his computer. Then, Hinatas senpai gives him the microphone. Hinata starts to speak, The first stages topic is Encounter. We are in this towns childcare center. And I encountered a small boy. Among the other lively kids, who want their pictures taken, there is a child who couldnt blend in with the others, and just watches them from afar. But, one of the children notices this and pulled the hand of the boy to join the others. *Young Sou pulled young Hinatas hand. Then, Sou called on the others that they are joining them.* In the end, this boy showed a smile. Remembering Aya[?] saying that even if both Hinata and Sou likes her, Anna thinks, ..wrong. Right now, I am not in their eyes[sight].. Hinata continues to say, For the boy who pulled the other boys hand, this isnt a big deal *Young Hinata smiling with young Sou* but for the boy who cannot blend in with others, encountering this boy is a very important and very precious thing. Anna thinks, The one that they are looking at, is.. When the announcer is saying that they are now going to look at the work of Hinatas group,

Anna suddenly stands up and holds up her hand to say, I have an objection. *Hinata, and Annas groupmates look at Anna in shock* I think that is a very important thing. I also think that for the boy who pulled the other boys hand, it also, definitely made him happy to see that other boy smiling. The degree of it being precious [for that boy] wont lose to that [other] boy!!! While Chiaki and other faculty are surprised, Nanoka is already pulling Anna to sit down. Anna thinks, Unexpectedly saying that Sou doesnt want to see him [Hinata] again, how can such a thing be possible. Because I clearly knows it. Believe it, Hinata. *Hinata looks at Anna* Believe. Hinata looks very touched by what she said.

That night, on a bench by the forest, Anna is looking aghast and tense. Hinata says that there are times, she is really amazing. Anna timidly apologizes for the inconvenience. Hinata says that it is okay with him but it would be good if they didnt deduct points from Annas [high school] group. Anna gloomily says that is true. Taking out his cellphone, Hinata asks her if he can call Sou. Surprised Anna exclaims ya, yes. The phone rings and Sou answers it. Hinata asks if it is Sou. Sou greets Hinata a good job. I just saw the public broadcast. The era of live broadcast in the internet is really amazing. Hinata comments that he saw it. Sou says that it is super funny, the mood was, with everyone having that dumbfounded look. Hinata says, There is something I want to say that I always wasnt able to tell you, Sou. I like Anna. Anna looks surprised by this. Sou answers, ......Eh- But then, isnt it really late to say it? Saying it only now. Hinata pauses and sweatdrops. He apologizes. Sou says, Ah- I also know that it isnt easy to say it. Sorry about that- Making you feel apprehensive with me. Holding his head, Hinata says, ..no, I only do not want to be hated by you. Flashback: While playing a console game, young Hinata asked Sou if playing with him is boring. Sou replied, Ha? What do you mean by that? I think that playing with you, Hinata, is the most fun of all. End flashback. Still sitting in front of the computer, Sou answers, ..Hinata, Im not blaming you, nor do I feel that you have betrayed me. *A tear falls down Hinatas cheek* It isnt possible for me to hate you. Hinata replies, ..ya, thank you for saying that. Anna looks at Hinata and thinks that she couldnt hear it very clearly what the two are talking about. She

decides to let it go even if she doesnt quite know the twos conversation. While Anna is smiling, a familiar woman silhouette is approaching the two. Anna is surprised when Mari bends down to her ear and says, Koshiro-chan? Hinata looks surprised to see Mari at the corner of his eye. As the moon is peeking out of the clouds, Mari, who isnt smiling like before, asks, What are you doing here? You and Tokura-kun, the two of you.

First of all, I really love this childhood friend-love triangle. ^-^ They really do know each other very well and whenever someone doubts the other, one of them would quickly..or sooner or later, patch things up and tell the doubting one that it isnt true = their friendship is still there; no one is hated. This time around, it is Anna helping the two boys. Hinata is obviously going on a major guilt trip that he starts to doubt Sou and hide something very important from him. Sou knows this already and he even said the things that Hinata really wants to hear hes not betraying him and he wont hate him for this. I think that is pretty amazing and it really touched Hinatas heart especially since he is basically telling Hinata that even if this happened, he is still his best friend for life. ^-^ It is also nice that Sou is watching it on the internet because it seems that he is also there when both Hinata and Anna said those things. ^-^ Still, even if Hinata and Annas relationship might make Sou feel outside of the group, I hope that after some time, they will continue to celebrate the things that they always do together which are Sous birthday, and watching the fireworks display. It is also interesting to note at how well Aya knows Sou. Aside from Hinata, Aya could read the true meaning of Sous message. I would really like her to end up with Sou..of course, Nanoka would probably oppose from the start. =P Now, Anna is accomplishing her goals for this trip = to know Hinatas feelings, and pass Sous message/reconcile the two which would enable her to be in speaking terms with Sou again. Whats left is the Mari problem. At first, I thought that Hinata should say it clearly with Anna about the thing with Mari when she asked about it. On second thought, probably, for Hinata, Mari is really no big deal and he doesnt want Mari to ruin this moment with Anna. He is already struggling with the perceived hatred and betrayal of Sou, so Mari is probably the last thing on his mind. I never thought to see

Mari creepier than this. Hm..it is quite scary that she no longer has that fake-looking smile. The reasons Im thinking as to why she isnt smiling anymore is because Hinata told her to stop touching him, what happened at the discussion meeting, and now, seeing the two together at night. I find it really odd that she is asking the question to Anna, instead of Hinata, her own student. It doesnt seem to be the right reaction for a teacher, who catches her student sneaking out with a girl. Ive notice that Mari would always ask that question, Why is Koshiro-chan here when they are together. I dont think she is stupid to not know the reason why those two are always seen together. Because of how Mari reacted here, Im beginning to think that there is a reason why Hinata would act cold with Anna whenever Mari is around. Is it to pretend that they dont have a very close relationship or else, Mari would cause some major trouble? Could it be that Mari has a thing for Hinata? From before, Mari likes to play cupid to make girls confess to Hinata, fully knowing that they will be dumped. I wonder if it is Maris twisted way of making herself feel important that she has Hinata and no one else does. Im thinking that she knows Anna likes Hinata but unlike the others, she doesnt seem to encourage it. It is also Mari who seems to have suggested for Hinata to transfer school. Was she taking full advantage over Hinatas vulnerability at that time = guilt trip and wanting Sou to be with Anna? Is it to monopolize him? Hm..for Mari to always appear at certain times when they are together and for her to work again in Hinatas school..is she some sort of stalker? Whatever it is, I guess, we will know about it soon enough. Lastly, Im hoping that Sou hasnt hanged up the phone yet because I want him to hear whatever Mari said/will say. =P I want him to be more active again in this series rather than always looking depressed at the side. [*means appearing in unexpected places and at unexpected moments; I dont know if there is really a book/manga called Phantom Sensei, which Anna is referring to.] Hinata tells Mari that they are only chatting and why she is asking Anna about it. Flustered Mari pauses then says that it is because she felt that if she were to ask him, he wont answer her. Tokura-kun, you are angry, right? Mari remembers Hinatas angry glare. Hinata says that it is nothing,

he isnt angry. Yesterday, Im only having a tantrum, and Im really sorry for that. To Annas shock, Mari holds Hinatas arm and exclaims if that is true. It really startled me. Because you suddenly say, please dont touch me.. Holding Maris hand off him, Hinata says, But, please do not do this kind of thing again. *Mari and Anna surprised* I dont want to make Anna unhappy again. Anna is teary-eyed over what Hinata said. Mari is surprised that Hinata mentioned Anna so she asks Hinata, Are the two of you going steady? To Maris shock, Hinata answers, Yes. Looking devastated, Mari says, Is.. that.. so.. It turns out that Tokura-kun also doesnt like me.. Hinata felt guilty. Then, Mari quickly leaves. Anna is at a loss. She tensely wonders what happened just now.. Hinata looks at Anna and apologizes for it. Anna tells him that she totally doesnt mind but Mari is a bit weird just now since she isnt the same as before. Hinata says is that so, because for him, no matter when, that teacher is very weird. Anna agrees with him that Mari is indeed usually quite weird. Hinata suggests that they go back to the villa. Anna wonders if she is thinking too much for she felt that it seems Mari had just taken a huge blow. But if I think of it deeply, sensei is already married. So, no matter how I and Hinata developed.. Then, Anna hears a clicking sound. She quickly turns around. Hinata asks what it is. Anna says that it seems that she heard some strange sound, and maybe she is just mistaken. Behind a tree, someone is taking pictures with a camera. Narration: Wrong. Ive already decided not to mind again, about stuff regarding sensei. Compared to that, I should gather up all my concentration for the Photo Koshien. And speaking of that, the competition continues tomorrow!!

At the city where the participants have gathered together, Anna is totally shock over Maris depressed expression. Anna nervously thinks that is obviously a total dejected look. No, Ive obviously decided not to mind her. But that will definitely make me unconsciously mind it ahhhh!! Aghast Chiaki asks Anna that today she ought to be energetically concentrating, and is she listening to her. While Aya sweatdrops, Nanoka says that Anna isnt listening. Anna overhears Hinatas senpai talking. Senpai A [short hair] is grumbling about whats with that Im sad look of Mari, and Mari is really such an annoying woman. Senpai B [long hair] says that Mari can also naturally

do it, or she should say, Maris nature[/disposition] is really bad. Its because of that revolting behavior that her fiance ran away. Anna screams, Run away?! Irritated senpai A asks what that is about when it is already enough that Anna created a fuss during the public examination meeting. Aghast Anna apologizes about yesterday and she isnt talking about that, but rather about Kobayashis marriage. Senpai A says that apparently before the marriage, it fizzled out. Actually, that guy is two timing. They kind of quarrel after San-chan [guesswork name from ], had a child. Fundamentally, she planned to quit being a teacher after getting married but because it ended in failure, she went to our school to suck up [to him]. *Chiaki looks aghast. Nanoka and Aya also heard it because senpai A is saying it out loud.* Because she came at the midway of the school term, so the rumors spread out quite intensely. Sweatdropping Anna looks nervous and aghast. Senpai B says that the one who spread it is definitely Mari for this isnt something a student can report to the others about. Senpai A calls out to Mari and asks if it is okay. Mari just lamely laughs and says that it is okay, no problem. Hinata just keeps silent about it. Anna looks at him and wonders if it is okay because Hinata is really worried since he is very kind. Later on, while Anna is saying that isnt the side that she is worrying about, Senpai B calls out to Hinata to go to them. Senpai A tells Hinata to quickly hand over the flash card so that they wont be late in the submission. Senpai B asks where Mari is. Hinata asks if Mari didnt go there to them because he didnt see her midway [on the way]. Anna looks surprised and two senpai-s are shock.

The two senpai-s scream their head off at Hinata as to whats going on, and isnt Mari conscious of being an adviser to suddenly just leave the students at one side..even if there is not much difference [that Mari is not there]. The two senpai-s argue about their points being deducted, if the adviser isnt around, and whose points will be deducted. Hinata tries to pacify them by saying that he also took pictures by himself before going there, so there is no problem. Hinata stops talking when he notices Anna scowling at him. He asks her what it is. Anna asks him if he didnt look for Mari, and is it okay not to look for her. Time will be up soon.. Then, quickly go look for her now. Ill also go with you! Hinata tells her that [they] cannot go because that person

is waiting for someone to look for her and she is that kind of person. If I were to go, the same things will just repeatedly happen all over again. Hinata is surprised when Anna tells him that he obviously wavered. Even if you pretend to act calm, but since last night, it is already exposed!! *flustered and [angry] teary-eyed* Say the truth.. that today, this whole day, you have been thinking of sensei!! Even you said that it doesnt matter who that other person is, if I were able to like someone else aside from Anna,. No matter who it is, that is a lie. *Flashback: Smiling Mari asking Hinata if aside from school, he has been painting at home because with just one look of his work, she knows.* Its because you thought, if it is sensei that is why you said that, right!? *Flashback: Mari told Hinata that she really likes the paintings he drew; Hinata looks nostalgic.* I am very happy that you straightforwardly said it to sensei. But, seeing this very distressed and very pained Hinata, I dont like it.. *determined* Lets go look for sensei!! At a park-like area, Mari is sitting on the bench by herself. Flashback 1: Some students are saying that they dont like Mari, and she doesnt have common sense. Flashback 2: Her colleagues are giggling and say, so youre actually there [and overheard them]. Flashback 3: Fiance says, Sorry, Mari. About the marriage, just treat it as if Ive never mentioned it.

Then, breathing hard Hinata calls out to her. Teary-eyed Mari calls out to him and clings on to him. Using her hands to separate them[/get Mari to Mari that this will cause problems. Mari asks why, for didnt he come because he likes her. Hinata tells her it isnt that. Mari exclaims that if it is Anna, she is okay even if Hinata isnt with her because Anna isnt all alone. This surprises Anna. While teary-eyed Mari seems surprised by what she said, Hinata says, ..sensei, I like you, sensei. *Teary-eyed Mari looks at him* You are the one who widen my world. *Flashback: Pointing to a booklet, Mari told Hinata about there being this kind of school.* Before, Ive always didnt like school but right now, I find school to be very interesting, and Im very happy. *Flashback: In art class, Hinata is talking with his classmates while they are drawing on their canvas.* Fortunately, there is you, sensei. Thank you very much. *slight bow* From here on, as your student, Ill trouble you in continuing on teaching [/guiding] me. Sad Mari just cries. Back at the convention center, the announcement

says that the second public examination meeting has ended. Anna, together with Hinata, are talking with Aya and Nanoka. Aya says that it is really great that the two of them got to come back. Anna apologizes. Nanoka tells Anna not to make them flustered[/nervous] to death on the next, last stage of the competition. Then, Mari looks sad at the side, and she felt like crying. Chiaki notices her. Chiaki approaches her and says that she heard from the students that until spring, Mari has been Annas teacher in junior high school. Chiaki asks if shell come back to this side [to their hometown?]. Next time, when we are together, lets go and have a drink!! *happy with clenched fist* I can listen to your complaints, so just pour out all of your feelings! Slightly blushing, Mari looks at Chiaki, and then she looks moved Chiaki is puzzled. Mari happily asks if Chiaki can tell her, her email address. Speechless Hinata and Anna sweatdrop. Anna asks him if that is okay. Hinata says ya. Somewhere else, senpai B asks if the picture is taken well. Senpai A says of course, give it to her. While senpai A is holding the camera, senpai B protests that in the end, Mari and Hinata didnt go steady, so even if this picture is taken, if the people themselves deny it.. With a sly look, senpai A says, Even if the people themselves say it, no one will also believe them because of this kind of picture. On the cameras lcd screen, there is a picture of Mari sobbing on Hinatas chest.

So, the author indeed twisted everything and make Mari a pitiful and misunderstood character. I guess she is going to make all of the antagonists in this series become like that. ^^; Still..I find it strange that the author didnt mention the names of the two senpai-s yet. So, Mari is now being bullied and those senpai-s are really cold-hearted to say it out loud to strangers about Mari being jilted by a fiance..and they did it in front of Mari. It is a bit amazing for Mari to still act like it was nothing, instead of the typical response of quickly running away. I guess the reason why Hinata is reluctant to mention things regarding Mari to Anna is because he doesnt want to be like the other people in his school gossiping about Mari. It is quite embarrassing for Mari that she was left by her fiance so he probably thought that it is better to shut up than contribute to damaging Maris ruined reputation. Just like Sou, Hinata has a feeling of gratitude towards Mari so he let himself be her comforter because she did, in her

own strange way, try to comfort him regarding Anna. He was indeed probably attracted to Mari because she was very nice to him, and at that time, Sou is still going for Anna. From what the senpai-s mentioned, it didnt seem went into romance like theyve expected. I dont think Mari really likes Hinata romantically and she is probably overly clingy on Hinata because he is too nice and she is on the rebound after being jilted by her fiance. From this chapter, she is obviously just lonely. Hinata probably has also seen himself in her, so he is the one who would always be with her in that school..just like what Sou did for him before. Ah..it is sometimes hard to be always nice, and in this case, Hinata wants Anna to be happy by snubbing Mari, Anna would reprimand him about it. Anyway, it is nice that Anna can bluntly tell that to Hinata about being true to himself and Mari because it led the way for Hinata to finally free himself from Mari. ^^ Of course, it is a good that that Anna went with him and it is admirable for Anna to know what is the right thing to do even if given her impression on Mari, she could have just snub Mari, too. =P Even if Anna thinks that Hinata is very kind, she is also very kind. I guess it is because of these kind of things that those two guys had fallen for her. ^^ Hehe, now Mari will be clinging on to Chiaki. =P Of course, the Mari problem will now evolve into something else because those two senpai-s obviously hate her and would try to ruin her to..probably never to teach again, and Hinata will be the collateral damage because his reputation will also be ruined. I think it can be very bad for Hinata since he had already come to like school because of the art school that Mari referred to him, and he can be quite a quiet, unsociable guy as pointed out in the last few chapters. As an adult, Mari can somewhat take what those people are doing, but I wonder if Hinata can handle it. Well, thanks to technology, he can keep in touch with Anna and Sou. It also depends if he has friends in that school. Maybe, if Hinata is forced to leave the school, he can transfer to their school and..hopefully without that rumor, if the senpai-s really did spread those pictures around. I think the reason why they dont like Mari is probably because of Maris love rival since they called that person by the name or maybe they have a grudge on her. Maybe Maris love rival is loved/popular in the school that is why they treated Mari like that. If it is only because of a rumor, the two senpai-s wouldnt have gone out of their way to frame Mari up. They mentioned that a student wouldnt have spread it but then, from Maris reaction, I dont think she would also spread such a rumor about herself just for people to pay attention to her. If she did, obviously, the effect isnt pity but rather, people started talking ill about her. In this kind of failed engagement, people will usually gossip that there is something wrong with the girl that is why she is dumped. It doesnt help that Maris values are different and she is kind of clueless on proper ways of acting as an adult. ^^; Well, maybe Chiaki can help her on that. Hm..so Sou dislikes Mari is because of how she is taking advantage of Hinatas kindness and she has been taking his time from him? Im also curious when and where those senpai-s are going to release those photos. Hopefully, not in that broadcasted meeting because it can be seen internationally. ^^;

Maybe it is just within their school? ^^;; From that angle of the pictures, the identities are protected..unless people know them personally. Anna happily looks on as Hinata and others accept the prize. Narration: After so many things that had happened, the Photo Koshien competition has smoothly ended after three days. At the end, Hinata and others got the runner-ups prize, while we got the dare to fight reward. At the building, where the contestants are taking a break, Chiaki sighs and says that dare to fight reward is basically the same with participation reward. Anna tries to say something about that but Chiaki continues to say that she wished everyone would concentrate in the competition, and even if she has a lot of complaints, but she felt that everyone did their best. Nanoka comments that just as anticipated, Chiaki tends to have a grudge. Hinata lightly knocks Annas head and tells her, Good job. Anna congratulates him for getting the runner-up prize. She exclaims that the pictures of Hinata and others are amazing as if they were taken by professionals. At the side, Chiaki acts like a man when she says that it is amazing to be able to fight in this [competition], and Mari happily says that she is right. Aya and Nanoka look shock by this. Short haired senpai interrupts by saying that he has good insight with photos, and it seems Tokura-kun clearly knows about it [that they are good]. Then, she tells her friend that she doesnt have enough drinks so they should go get some. The long haired senpai sheepishly look at her friend. Anna and Hinata look speechless at the two as they leave. Aghast, Anna points to his senpai-s, and asks Hinata if those senpai are like that in normal days. After a pause, Hinata tells her that last year, his senpai-s also joined the competition last year, and they also won the runner-up prize. Anna says that it is amazing. Hinata says that they planned on bringing back to Tokyo the first prize this

year so, right now, they are extremely unhappy about it. While muttering that it is already amazing to get runner-up prize, Anna says is that so. Hinata says yes.

After a pause, Anna asks him if he is going back to Tokyo. Hinata says yes. Looking disappointed, Anna says is that so. Hinata is somewhat surprised that he asks her whats with that reaction. Anna says that she thought that since it is summer break, he is going to fly back home with her. Hinata tells her that is impossible because unfortunately, this is a club excursion. Anna says that since it is like that, she realized something.. Hinata and I are in a long distance relationship!! It is only now that Ive realized it! After a pause, Hinata says that is right, he also just realized it now. Anna laments that she thought that theyll spend the summer vacation together. Sweatdropping, Hinata tells her no, hell be back around Obon festival, and upon return, he plans to stay at that side until the end of summer vacation. Anna happily asks if that is true. Hinata tells her that as a homework, she would think of the things theyll do [for fun]. Anna happily smiles and thinks that is great. Back in her hometown, Anna, Nanoka and Aya are hanging out together. Aya exclaims that its finally summer vacation, and it must have been lonely for Anna to not be able to see Hinata when theyve started to go steady. Nanoka asks Anna if she has already thought of what to do. Anna exclaims that she had thought of a lot of things. In the end, we have to go see the fireworks. Aside from the fireworks display, I would want to play with some handheld fireworks. And then, well go to the pool or to the beach!! But, I want to slide down to the pool- And if we go to the pool, I wont get tired of it even after sliding down ten times!! But, it is very hard to give up the beachs piled up sand- Let me say that I really like being buried in the sand *Surprised Aya and Nanoka look at her speechlessly* But, we can also play with the inflatable pool at home, that is also so much fun.. Looking shock, Anna denies that she is thinking of that. Nanoka asks why she is getting tongue twisted over it. Anna insists that it is true, and swears by it. Nanoka looks at her in suspicion that Anna finally admits that she did thought that it would be nice if the three of them can be together during the fireworks display, just like before. Hinata said, The two of us will go this year, but I still think that isnt what he truly thinks.. Ah, but I know that it is impossible. First of all, I still have not made up with Sou.. Nanoka says that of course, this isnt about her making up with Sou. Aya says that even if it is Sou who helped them in going steady, she feels that Anna should clearly differentiate that if her feelings with Sou is too good, Hinata would also get jealous. Anna asks about Hinata being jealous..she couldnt imagine it. Aya happily says that of course, since Hinata is the boyfriend, and the times for the two of them to be alone is comparatively more important than anything else, so she ought to properly cherish it. Whats with this loves flower bud!! Even more than being laughed at, this is very scary[/shocking]!! To Annas horror, Nanoka tells her that she had already sent that

message to Hinata-kun. Im sorry =P but couples that started to go steady would send this kind of message, right!?

Nanoka shows it to Aya who just mutters ya, and she really sent the message. Aya sweatdrops as crying Anna hits Nanokas head and shouts, Stupid stupid stupid, Nanoka youre stupid- (cries)!!! If you, Nanoka go steady with Kazami-kun, Ill also make you send a message like that!! Flustered Nanoka exclaims in surprise and asks what kind of analogy is that, for it is impossible for her and Hinata [to become a couple]. Anna cries and asks what she should do now. Nanoka tells her to relax, for Hinata will immediately reply back. Meanwhile, in Hinatas school, Hinata is in his art class. He is talking on the phone. The other party on the line says, Even if it is very good that you are having fun at school but how come you are coming back, only when its Obon Festival. I want to see you earlier~~~~ Hinata says that he told her before that he has to finish his school work, and there are a lot of [art] instruments in school so it is more convenient. The other party says, Poo-- Hinata says that it is useless even if she [says] poo--. Ill go home if I finish earlier than the Obon Festival, and thats how it is. After hanging up, Hinatas classmate asks if it is his girlfriend. Hinata says no, it is his mother. Then, the classmate looks aghast-surprised. Then, the PA [public announcement] system calls out for first year, art section Tokura Hinata, to quickly please go to the faculty room. His classmate says that it is calling for him, what did Hinata do. Puzzled, Hinata wonders whats going on. Later on, Anna is sitting in the living room. She is watching the television on todays horoscopes, and the last one to be mentioned is Pisces. Be careful of a small [text] message for it will develop into a crisis! Anna looks really aghast and speechless. <- [she is] Pisces. It has been three days since she sent that message to Hinata and there has been no answer. And, until now, there is still no reply.. Wah(cries)!!! He has definitely been scared off by that message. *Imagines aghast Hinata saying that message is too much* In the end, I should have immediately sent a message to correct it!! It is now already too late. *takes cellphone* Theres no way for me to keep on waiting for his reply. Even if Im very afraid, but I should straightforwardly call and talk with Hinata. *the other line rings for a long time* No answer. *hangs up phone* What am I to do, should I send another message? But if this time around, he still doesnt reply.. *aghast and tearyeyed* I have no way of surviving [it].. Anna suddenly rushes out of the house. Her mother asks her where she is going. Anna exclaims that she is going to buy chewing gum. Anna thinks that todays lucky item is chewing gum. After buying the chewing gum, Ill hold on to it as a good sign and then, send that text message to Hinata!! At the hallway, Sou is startled when Anna suddenly came out of her apartment. Sou says that she frightened him to death and whats going on that shes so energetic in the morning. To Sous surprise, Anna says, Sou.. *crying* Wah..what am I to do, I had scared off Hinata-!!! Sou sweatdrops and asks her what happened. Anna tells him that she has sent a joke-type of message to Hinata three days ago, but there has been no answer. He also doesnt answer my calls (cries) Sou asks her what message she sent, and let him see it. Flustered Anna exclaims, No way! I absolutely cannot show it to you!! If I were to let you see it, Ill be too embarrassed to death!! Sou takes out his cellphone and tells Anna that it takes a very serious[/grave] thing to scare off[/shock] Hinata, and it ought to be pretty tremendous. While Sou calls Hinata, Anna is surprised that she can talk with Sou normally, and is this okay. Anna blushes a bit. Sou tells Anna that Hinata isnt answering the phone. He sighs and says that since it is early in the morning, maybe Hinata is still sleeping, so sending a message is out of the question. Sou takes out a pack of chewing gum from his pocket, and chews a stick. Anna looks surprised over this that Sou asks what is it. Anna says that it is nothing,[but] about that..

Sou asks her if she wants some chewing gum. Anna says yes. When Sou holds out a stick, Anna thanks him. To her surprise, Sou suddenly holds it up, away from her. While Anna is gloomily irritated by that, mischievous Sou tells her that they have already agreed on it, so dont get angry anymore, hell give it to her. While Sou is smiling over that, Anna holds the chewing gum and thinks, What is this. Why is it that Sou is acting quite normal. *smiles* And it is a bit way too normal. Then, Sou says, By the way.. Yesterday, when I called Hinata, he also wasnt answering it. *Anna looks surprised* Usually, if he didnt answer it, he will call me back later in the day.. Then, it seems that Sou has realized something that he starts calling someone on the phone again. Anna asks him if he is calling Hinata again. Sou says no, he is calling Mashiro. Mashiro answers the phone and asks whats up for the sudden call. Sou asks him if Hinata went to his house. Sou darkly smacks his lips [tsk] when Mashiro says that Hinata didnt come. Sou looks surprised when Mashiro continues to say, I should say, right now is a very disastrous [serious] time, so how could Hinata come and hang out in my house. Sou asks him what he meant by disastrous time. What had happened to Hinata? Anna starts to look worried. Mashiro says, Could it be that you havent heard about it? Anna asks Sou what happened and what did Mashiro say. Mashiro says, Ah, Im also not quite clear on the details of the situation.. [but] it seems that Hinata has quit [expel/drop out of] school. Anna looks nervous when tense Sou repeats, Quit school..!? At Hinatas school, some students ask if they had seen that picture. Another student says that they did. A girl says that she really likes Hinata but this is truly too much. A boy says that before, he thought that Hinatas relationship with that teacher [Mari] is abnormally good, and he didnt think that they had a relationship. Someone says, gross-. At the faculty room, the teachers are looking at the computer of what seems to be 4 pictures of Mari going to Hinata. One picture is that night when she went to see Hinata (and Anna), and the other picture is when Mari cried on Hinata when he (and Anna) looked for her during the Photo Koshien. One teacher says that the pictures seem to be uploaded in the schools computer, and right now, it is quite chaotic. And it seems that the other party is Kobayashi-sensei, right? Poor Hinata..he finally freed himself of Mari who is now attached with Chiaki, and now, he gets drag in a major mess because of her. So, Mari would probably learn an important lesson here on how to treat students, and she would have to make it up to Hinata, big time. That scene on how the students and faculty are talking about Hinata and Mari shows how grave and disastrous this situation is for Hinata. It seems those senpai-s uploaded it for all the school to see. It isnt surprising for Hinata to quit school. Given his personality, he wont even have the face to go to school..and ya, if he even experienced everyone muttering and everything, he might once again hate school and might even become a NEET. ^^; I am curious as to what those senpai-s problem with Mari that they are willing to do this kind of thing and involve someone who didnt do anything to them. Surely, it isnt a case of Hinata not helping them win the first prize, so this is his punishment. ^^; Or maybe, like what Ive mentioned before, Hinata just got caught up with whatever is between Mari and those senpai-s. It is already quite obvious that they dont quite like Hinata, and maybe, part of it is jealousy..like how good he is in art when hes still a freshman? There is really no use to explain the truth/deny it, because people will think otherwise, and those pictures already speak volumes of what their possible relationship is. I did entertain the possibility of Anna speaking as witness but I highly doubt Hinata would still want to go to that school, even if he did seem to find his place in doing what he loves to do which is art. Given how overprotective Hinatas mother is, she would promptly make him come back home. I also think that the author has already served the purpose of making Hinata leave > it is to make Hinata and Anna a couple and Sou be okay with it. As for the phone not being answered, I wonder what the reason is. Maybe Hinata is too busy in dealing with the formalities for quitting school. Given how vicious people can be, from what Ive read in other stories, Im thinking of the possibility that they are harassing Hinata on the phone that Hinata wont answer it anymore. Or, maybe it was confiscated..that seems unlikely. ^^; Also, given his personality, he would probably want to deal with this on his own rather than mention it to Sou or Anna. Just like what Sou hinted, I guess this is something very serious for Hinata that he cant confide it to them, and he does tend to clam up when it is something very serious and very personal, like being in love with Anna. So, it is very, very serious that he didnt

even tell Sou about it. Sou is now experiencing what Anna has been experiencing before of not being told of something important, that is happening. Since these three families are close, Hinatas mother also didnt mention it to the others..maybe she already went to Tokyo. Im a bit puzzled when Mashiro said that Hinata didnt go to his house..for I thought, all along, Hinata is living with him. ^^; And, Mashiro isnt clear about the situation even if he is Hinatas guardian so, maybe his mother is already there. Anyway, Im glad that the author is open to the idea for the three to watch the fireworks display together. It is indeed a tradition for the three to celebrate it together, along with Sous birthday. I think that this is really an amazing love triangle and childhood friend relationship wherein no one is really left out. Anna is really lucky that Im kind of envious of her. =P Whenever there is a problem with one of the guys, the other guy is there for her. Actually, if any of the two has a problem with each other or one is being left out/wavers about their frienship, there is always that one person who holds the friendship between them together. This is probably the secret to their long close friendship unlike the ones Anna had with her female group of friends in junior high. Also just like what Hinata said, even if they have a long quiet/snub period, things will become normal later on. It happened with Hinata, and it now happened with Sou. It is really quite easy for them to pick up where they left off. Aside from the agreement with Anna, I think Sou has already come into terms that Hinata and Anna love each other. I guess for Sou, it seems like a burden is finally lift off so he can act normal again. =P He just needed time and he is such a great friend to even help them out. And being that kind of friend to Hinata, I wonder if Sou would make good his threat to Mari about seducing Hinata. I dont think it was mentioned yet but I wonder if Hinata is also a Pisces because that horoscope reading could also somewhat apply to him. I guess Hinatas fault here is being too close with Mari..and probably being too nice. Unlike Sou who can be quite cold-hearted towards to whoever he doesnt like, Hinata will let others do whatever they want with him until he draws the line. Aside from Mari, Hinata seems to manifest this trait in that side story before, when he turned down that girl who had a crush on him. Since it is summer break, Im imagining that they will all go to Tokyo to support Hinata in this difficult time. This threes relationship will be stronger than before after this. After all, they had surpassed the possible major crisis in a relationship if the two falls in love with Anna. I think it would be easier for them to help out someone who is in trouble rather than a problem between themselves. This time around, maybe Hinata will be more open and communicative to the others, like how the the other two are, rather than dealing with difficult things by himself. Anyway, the good thing that will come out of this is, as Ive mentioned, Hinata going back to their hometown. I cant wait for those three to interact together again. It is quite fun ^^ I think it will be amusing when the two HINATA-s meet..given their same sleepy type of expression. Hinata can still do

Perspiring Sou looks at his cellphone and says, Wait, in the end, that road a while ago, should we have turned right there? Nope, but just looking at the map, it says that the correct way is to go straight.. Looking aghast, Anna says, So, didnt I say that we should have gone to the right.. Sou angrily shouts, Ha?! You fundamentally didnt even say it, okay!! Pointing at Sou, Anna shouts that he is the one in the wrong because he didnt listen. Sou answers back, Who would listen to the words of someone who cant even read a map!! Anyway, you are also just basing it on your feeling to say which one is right!! And, Hinata.. *Anna remembers Hinata telling her and Mari before, that even if before he doesnt always quite like school, but right now, he finds high school to be really fun.* Did he really quit school.. Because it is too sudden that I totally couldnt believe it. Could it be that Mashiro just had some misunderstanding..? Sou tells her that is why they came there today to confirm it. Sou sighs and says that quitting school thing is only Mashiros practical joke, and about Hinata not writing a message back, that is because he got fed up by that message Anna sent. Then, the girl says, It seems that quitting school has already been decided. Sou and Anna are surprised for it was true. Sou asks why. Then, he exclaims that he totally doesnt understand what that meant, why did things turn out that way. Just when the girl is about to explain, someone says, Sou? Ah, Anna is also here. The three look at the side to see that it is Hinata. Hinata says that he heard familiar voice/s. It is quite a shock. Why are you guys here? And, why are you together with Yuki*-senpai.? [*guesswork name from ] While Yuki is explaining that these kids seems to be lost and she walked together with them to.., Hinata is surprised when Sou and Anna suddenly shouts, Hinata!!

Anna exclaims that it is really great that Hinata had thoroughly think things through. Hinata asks think of what. Anna kept on saying that it is really great. Sou shouts at Hinata as to how come he doesnt answer his cellphone. Hinata asks if he called him up. Sou shouts that he has called him a lot of times. You better not tell me stuff like you had left your cellphone at home!? Hinata says, how he can say it, it seems to have ran out of batteries since he is in helter-skelter [/chaotic and disorderly haste]. Sou is angry and aghast over that. Sou asks him what is the meaning of that quitting school and what had happened. Hinata looks surprised and realizes that they came because of that. With folded arms, Hinata says, Is that so.. Where do I start explaining it? Sou angrily asks, Ha. Yuki holds up pictures of Hinata with Mari, and says, It is this. These photos has been spread around the school that people are calling it teacher and student scandal. And because of it, it stirred up a huge disturbance. Hinata says that is right. Looking at the pictures, Sou mutters that he couldnt believe it. He shouts whats with these pictures and no matter how he looked at it, someone maliciously wants to cause trouble. She thinks that based on the clothes that Hinata and Mari are wearing and the background of the photos, the ones who took the pictures are.. Then, they hear a girl shouting, Ive said that it really hurts, Mona*. Dont pull me!! [*guesswork name from ] They look at the side to see the two senpai-s, who were with Hinata in the Photo Koshien. Mona, the long haired girl, has been pulling the arm of the short haired girl. Mona says that she heard that Hinata will be coming to school today, and today could be their last opportunity. Trying to free herself, the short haired girl shouts that she told her that she doesnt intend to apologize. Mona exclaims that fundamentally, their intention is Kobayashi-sensei so they hatched up that plan. But, it caused Tokura-kun to quit school-something when it has nothing to do with him.. The other girl exclaims, Yes, it does!! If Tokura isnt like a fool who would listen whatever that woman says, then things wont turn out this way! The one who made that woman grow[/mature?] is also that guy!! [<- I dont understand the grow thing but maybe, made Mari overconfident.]

While Anna and Sou are surprised by what they are saying, Mona calls out to Shuri* in disbelief over what she is saying. [*guesswork name from ] Shuri starts to say that it is because of that woman, Yuki she.. Then, she and Mona notice that Hinata and everyone else are watching and listening to them. They mutter that it is Yuki and Tokura. Yuki says so, they were the ones who did it, and what they did is over the top. Didnt I say that it is already alright that I wasnt able to go to the Photo Koshien? Even if Im very happy over your [two] feelings, but this kind of thing.. Shuri exclaims that they didnt do it for her. It is because Ive lost my temper. That woman suddenly became an adviser and then changed the members at will. *Mari had put Hinata in the group for the Photo Koshien and took out Yuki.* She didnt even know that the three of us would always work together as a group!! We fundamentally wanted to absolutely get the first prize this year. When this year is obviously the last year.. *pause* Anyway, I wont apologize. Shuri turns around and left. Mona quickly bows and apologizes to Hinata. She also apologizes Shuris part..even if an

apology wont resolve this issue. Turning to Hinata, Yuki says that even if Shuri isnt fundamentally a bad person but she couldnt see it as totally right. Hinata didnt reply. Yuki continues to say, In the meantime, I think that Im also responsible so Ill go talk with the teachers. Hinata says, But.. Flashback: A couple of male teachers told Hinata that as a scholar, he ought to have an impeccable clean and upright record. The school chairman doesnt want to let a student, who had brought shame, to stay in the school. And, the other party is Kobayashi-sensei, the daughter of the school chairman. How pitiful.. End flashback. Hinata says, Its already enough.. And just like what that senpai said, I think I was also at fault. *slight bow to two senpai-s* Sorry, today I have to go to the classroom to get my things so Ill be going ahead. The senpai-s didnt say anything and Annas head is slightly bowed.

In the empty classroom, while putting his things in the bag, Hinata asks Sou if they are going to go back today or are they going to stay for the night at Mashiros place. I still have to prepare things as I move out so, I have no way of quickly going back, and thats it.. While Anna just stands beside him, Sou calls out to ask what was that a while ago. Puzzled Hinata looks at him and asks, huh.. Sou shouts, What do you mean that you are also at fault. You didnt do anything wrong!! Why dont you get a bit angry!! Just now that girl with a vicious look said something like youll listen to whatever that teacher said, why didnt you refute it? It is that teacher who kept on wrapping herself up around you, okay! Its because youre too nice that you got yourself in neutral gear[/in this predicament]!! Why is it that you have to be expelled!! Hinata looks surprised by Sous outburst. Raring to go, Sou shouts, Beat them up badly!! First, Im going to beat up that girl with a vicious look. And then, Im going to beat up that infuriating sensei!! Then, that school chairman will be up next!! Aghast Hinata grabs Sous shirt and exclaims what he is saying for if he really did that, it will cause even more trouble. I beg you to stop. Anna says that she also wants to beat them all up. Tense Hinata says, Wait, even you, Anna, is saying that.. Anna is already crying. She says, I want to use my fists and viciously hit them.. This is too mean.. *the two boys look at her* It wasnt easy for Hinata to strive his best to get qualified and get in this school.. and.. and for Hinata who always do not have

friends and dont like school, to say that school is very fun--!! Waaaahh Surprised, Sou shouts to Anna, Ah, stupid, dont say that Hinata doesnt have friends!! Even if his friends are very few, but it shouldnt be none. *turns to Hinata* Right?! Aghast Hinata just quietly smiles and says, uh.. Holding out a pack of tissues to Anna, Hinata tells her that she cried excessively, so here are some tissues. Anna blows her nose and asks, why. Hinata is puzzled. Teary-eyed Anna asks, Why do you seem quite calm, Hinata? After looking surprised, Hinata smiles and asks if Yuki-senpai also seemed to be quite calm. Puzzled, Anna says that is true, it seems so.

Hinata says, Compared to those other senpai-s, she is more calm and collected... I and Yuki-senpai are generally alike. Even if in ones heart, it is like a thick swamp of rumbling darkness, no matter where one turns, I also do not know how to express out these feelings but I also couldnt just always stare and not move at all. But there are people, who exists, who would get angry and cry over my matters, I always think that this felt much better.. Sou sighs and says that he still thinks Hinata is too easygoing. Hinata asks is that so, but then if it is drawing, whatever it is, he can draw it. Sou sweatdrops and asks if that is the issue. Hinata smiles and says, Anna, Sou, thank you for coming. Soon, it is sunset. While the three head out of the school, Anna exclaims that Sou has work today, and will he be able to reach it on time? Sou says that it would be good if he hurries then he would pretty much be able to catch up and arrive in time- kind of type.. Hinata says that in short, it is wishful thinking. Anna asks how come he never mentioned it. Then, Anna is surprised when someone shouts, Tokura-kun!! It is Mari. Somewhat flustered, Mari says, About that.. I didnt think that things will turn out like this.. *cries* Im sorry.. Hinata says that he heard that Mari had also resigned. Mari says that it isnt good that only she gets to stay in the school. But compared to me, afterwards, what will happen to you, Tokura-kun.. Picking his ear, Sou says, No need to worry, sensei-- Hinata will quickly totally forget about the stuff regarding you, and happily live on afterwards. How can I say this, he currently has this cute girlfriend that he is so happy to the extreme. *the two are surprised by what he said* And, when he returns back to his homes apartment, Im also there. *twinkle in the eye* The one whom Hinata has the best [/closest]

relationship with. Mari says that it is this kind of thing again. A year ago in summer, Nagase-kun and Koshiro-chan had also chase after Tokura-kun and came to Tokyo. Throughout life, the relationship between the three of you wont change. The three look surprised. Then, the three best of childhood friends smile back in agreement.

Such an awesome friendship between these three childhood friends. When someone is in trouble, they drop everything and go to that person. It reminds me of the time when the two boys thought that Anna is missing. As Ive mentioned, it is easier for them to be strong for each other if the problem comes from outside rather than a problem within them. I find it interesting that even if Sou and Anna are very much alike in terms of being very emotional and everything, they tend to bicker and clash..and still, they are best friends with someone who are their opposite. Actually, I think Sou is only like that when he is around these two..he seems calm and cool when he is with other people. I guess, it is the same with Hinata and Anna..though in Annas case, it isnt that obvious for she is always like that =P Annas message isnt mentioned but I wonder if Hinata did got it before his cellphone went dead..or he didnt get to read it because of everything that is happening and then, his cellphone went dead. Well, maybe in the next chapter it will be mentioned..there is still the fireworks display to attend to. It made me realize that given Hinatas personality, it does seem highly doubtful for him to call either two to tell them that he got expelled. He did admitted that he has a problem expressing his feelings so he would unlikely sob and tell them how angry he was over what happened to him. He wont let himself mope around about it either. Thus, in that situation, he did the next best thing, get busy packing and moving on. I guess him being that way is also a reason why he couldnt easily make friends either..and, in this school, it is easier because everyone else is into art. I think Sou was right when he mentioned that Hinata would just forget everything about Mari. This is a person who knows Hinata best..and I think Hinata already forgot/erase the names of those two who caused this incident. He no longer mentions their names, only Yukis. =P That is an awesome way of revenge. But just like Sou and Anna, I cant help but get angry at those people and feel sorry for Hinata. It doesnt help that I learn that he is got into this school through a scholarship. It does seem that Hinata is

used as some sort of scapegoat so it really doesnt matter to the teachers or chairman what is the truth. What Sou said at the end is totally awesome. Even if he didnt get Anna, the author still makes Sou cool ^^ Anyway, I think the author has already established the power of friendship in this series. Aside from the main trio, she also showed it with the friendship of those senpai-s, even if what they did is wrong especially since they already knew that Hinata doesnt have a romantic relationship with Mari. I wonder..or rather hoping that the author will now focus on the love aspect since Hinata is coming back. I cant wait to see more scenes of the trio together, and hopefully some lovey-dovey of the couple..and well..other possible couples. Hehe, since Anna and Sou already have their respective friends in that school, I wonder if theyll help Hinata with the other Hinata. Im still hoping for the two to work together on a manga like Bakuman. ^^ And, I wonder if that is the last well see of Mari..or shell also transfer to their school later on to chase after Chiaki ^^;; Lastly, is it just a coincidence that Hinata always have tissues or he always brings them because Anna tends to cry a lot? =P He also got tissues ready when Anna sobs about Sou wanting some distance between them and it was always mentioned before how Hinata knows Anna inside and out. She calls out to Hinata and asks him what shell do with these books. Is it okay for me to just put them on the bookshelf? Hinata says okay, thank you. While Hinata is carrying a box, Sou asks Hinata about what these stuff [looks like canvas pads/boards]. Narration: Right now, it is summer vacation. And truly- a lot of things had happened. And, Hinata has moved back to this apartments room 303. Afterwards, Sou happily exclaims that it now feels like some sort of luxurious room. Good- going to have a long term stay here. Hinata comments that Sou only goes there to play and it isnt necessary for him to go to his room. Sparkling Sou says that it would be good if Hinata would also play. Hinata says that playing with Sou is like playing to lose. Sou says that not yet. Looking at the two, Anna wonders what this is. Even if Im very happy that Hinata came back, but because the reason for leaving is a bit what the, I also felt heavy. *pouting* But in the end, these two guys are happily having fun... Anna punches Sous back that Sou exclaims that it hurts, and why is she doing that, all of a sudden. Hiyori [Hinatas mother] comes in and happily thanks the two for helping Hinata unpack his luggage.

Are you guys tired? Come have some tea and cake Anna happily thanks her. Hiyori tells them that she made that cake herself and she is very confident in making it. It is a strawberry cake with greetings, Happy Quitting School. Hina-chan, welcome back Anna and Sou are shock by this and gloomily mutters, Happy.. Hinata apologizes to his friends, and tells them that it is alright, he is already gotten used to it so.. Hiyori exclaims that it doesnt exactly mean like congratulations for quitting school. Aghast Sou says no, this is a congratulation, it is absolutely a congratulation. Hiyori starts crying that ever since Hinata left, she has been extremely lonely so she is very happy that they get to live together again. Hinata says yes, thats true. Hiyori continues to say that it is the same for Hinata because even if quitting school is really bad but he also totally doesnt totally hate it, right? And, youre also very happy that youll be able to go to school together with Annachan and Sou-kun, right!?

Anna and Sou exclaim in surprise, Ha, Hinata is going to transfer to our school!? Hiyori is surprised by their reaction and asks if Hinata hasnt told them. Looking at the side, Hinata says that it is because it isnt completely confirmed yet. Sparkling Anna exclaims what he means that it isnt completely confirmed yet. Trying to calm them down, Hinata says that he hasnt taken the entrance exam yet. Sparkling Sou exclaims when the entrance exam is. Hinata tells him that it will be on the 18th. Annas expression freezes. Sou says that it is coming soon, and how many subjects is he going to have a test on. Hinata says, three subjects. Anna thinks that the 18th is the day of the fireworks display so doesnt this mean that they wont have a date on that day. Disappointed Anna thinks that is right since right now, isnt the time for Hinata to go watch the fireworks display. Sou quietly looks at Anna. Then, he tells the others that he is going home for it is almost time for work. Sou asks Hiyori if he wants to eat the cake at home so can he bring some home. Hiyori happily tells him that shell help him put it in a bento box. As they go out, Sou bids Hinata goodbye and wishes him good luck[/gambatte] on the entrance exam. Looking surprised, Anna says that is right, Hinata has to study so she is also going.. Hinata grabs her wrist and asks if on the 18th, they are going to let their loves flower bud blossom. Anna remembers that

Hinata is referring to that love message about their fireworks display date, which Nanoka had sent to Hinata. To Hinatas surprise, aghast Anna exclaims that is not so, that is a message which Nanoka had sent on her own and she [Anna] ABSOLUTELY do not think that way. Hinata says is that so. He laughs and says that is quite regretful then, because it was quite interesting. Anna is speechless. Slightly blushing, she says but Hinata is going to have an entrance exam on the 18th. Hinata tells her that it will be finished before noon. Even if Ill be studying before the 18th, but I can go watch the fireworks display. This delights Anna that she happily says is that so, is that right. Hinata tells her thats right. Anna exclaims for him that before then, he should sincerely stay, and do his real best in the exam. Hinata says, yes. Narration: I never thought that there is now an opportunity to go to the same high school with Hinata!! Even if from the start, it was originally a stormy-like summer vacation, but finally, I can see the light!!

At a karaoke bar, Nanoka says that Hinata will be going to their high school. With a microphone, Anna happily exclaims that is right, and contrary to what she thought that after the end of summer vacation, she wont be able to see him for a period of time. Nanoka happily says that means that Anna and others, the three childhood friends, would also be going to the same high school. Anna exclaims thats right, thats right. Nanoka laughs and says thats great. So, during the fireworks display, you and Hinata-kun, as well as Nagase-kun, the three of you, will watch it together, right? Anna freezes. Nanoka happily tells her to go and invite Sou, and he would happily accept it. Anna asks that didnt Nanoka tell her something like there is no dating if there are three people. Smiling Nanoka asks if she didnt say that the bonds of the three are very important. Aghast Anna exclaims that she didnt. Anna tells her that she is quite stubborn, and that kind of reckless leading her on, she wont be fooled by it, even if she is always been fooled by Nanoka. Nanoka quietly pouts. Anna tells her that if she has something to say, spill it out. Nanoka says that she had invited Aya to go watch the fireworks display together but she told her, Ive already had an appointment on that day so she declined. Starting to cry, Nanoka says that perhaps, Aya already has a boyfriend. Anna exclaims in surprise as to what is that, ever since

before, she hasnt heard anything about Aya having a boyfriend. Nanoka angrily shouts back that she hasnt heard about it yet, and if Anna knew it ahead of her, then she would have been a double shock for her. Anna sweatdrops and says, yes, thats right. Teary-eyed Nanoka says that she has a bad premonition. If what Nanoka is thinking is right, then Aya-chan definitely is.. definitely is.. Anna asks what. To Annas surprise, Nanoka says forget it, for it could just be her assumption and if she says it out loud, she feels that it is going to come true. Anna looks sad for Nanoka. She wonders what had happened with Nanoka, and she [Anna] thought that ever since the movie incident, Aya had started to tell Nanoka about things regarding herself, but apparently, it isnt so.

Wearing a yutaka and waiting for Hinata outside the apartment, Anna wonders if one doesnt easily change. She thinks that Aya would listening attentively to other peoples problems but in things regarding herself, she would totally.. Her thoughts were interrupted by Hinata who calls out to her. He says that she is early, and was she waiting for a long time. Anna happily smiles at him. While riding on the train, Anna asks him how the exams were, was it a success. Hinata says yes. She asks him when the results will be out. He tells her today. When Anna exclaims in surprised that it is today, Hinata tells her that they will call him if he got in but before he left, they havent called yet so his mother is going to take the call and would just text him about it. Anna says that would mean that hell learn about it during the fireworks display, and if that is how it is, this isnt the time to be watching fireworks. Just when Hinata is telling her that even if he is currently nervous, the trains door opens. He tells tense Anna that it is their stop. By the riverside, there are already a lot of people around. Anna laments that she brought a blanket for them to seat on but it seems that this year, they are also going to stand and watch the fireworks. She wonders when the others came to occupy the place. Hinata tells her that he found a space. Anna asks where. Then, Anna says that if that is the space he is referring to, it is only for one person. Hinata tells her to give him the blanket. After Hinata spreads the blanket on the grass ground, Anna points to the side and asks if they are going to watch it separately, then, shell to that side. Hinata sweatdrops and says no, and why would it turn out that way.

Sitting down and gesturing to the space in front of him, Hinata tells her that she will be sitting here. This made Anna blush and she sits. She felt really embarrassed by this sitting position. She apologizes to him if her hair is a hindrance, and can he see the fireworks. Hinata says that it is okay. Touching her hair, Hinata says that she would always have a new hairstyle, and where did she learn it from. Anna tells him that she has been reading magazines. She thinks that she suddenly felt that this is for real. Then, the fireworks are lit. Along with the others, Anna and Hinata watch the fireworks up in the sky. Narration: Hinata and I are no longer childhood friends, but rather, had become lovers..

While walking at a street with lots of food stalls, Hinata comments that he is more at ease when they are sitting down to watch. While stirring her kakigori [/shaved ice dessert], Anna says that is right, it is better to sit. She hasnt calmed down yet. Then, Hinatas cellphone starts to ring. Reading it, Hinata says that it is a message. Anna exclaims if it is his mother and is the results out. Hinata didnt reply that Anna nervously asks what it is. He looks at her and cutely flashes a v-sign. Happy Anna exclaims that is great. Since everyone is looking at them, Hinata tells her not so loud. Anna exclaims, Congratulations Hinata!! No, even if you might not be that happy about it, but Im super happy that youll be going to our high school. Hinata smiles at her. Anna happily tells him to also inform Sou about it and he would absolutely be very happy about it. Hinata says that is right, and Sous work should be over. Hinata starts to call Sous cellphone. While Hinata waits for Sou to answer, Anna turns around to see a familiar long haired girl figure, clad in a yukata. She recognizes her, and it is Ayane-chan. Hinata tells Anna that Sou isnt answering and maybe he isnt finished with work yet. Seeing Anna hiding behind a post, Hinata asks what she is doing. Spying on Aya, Anna thinks that Nanokas hunch is still quite accurate, for apparently, Ayane-chan is together with some guy. Ah, I cant see him clearly. Sorry, but the guy there, please move aside!! Then, Anna looks surprised as Aya happily seems to offer a bottle of tea to a black haired guy, who also looks familiar. Then, Aya says that it seems a phone is ringing. Holding his cellphone, Sou says that it is his cellphone. Anna calls out, Sou? Sou and Aya turn around to look at Anna. With a

scene of Nanoka telling Anna that she thinks Aya has a boyfriend, the foursome look surprise at each other and Sous phone continues to ring.

Depending on which guy, one would like for Anna, Annas surprise to see Sou with Aya can be interpreted in two ways. It is either she is just plainly surprised or now that Sou seems to be going out with Aya, she would realize her feelings for him. I would prefer that Anna wont be that fickle. It does seem that Sou is moving on and accepted a date with Aya. I dont think they are lovers yet but I guess they are going to try to make things work between them again, now that Anna has chosen Hinata. I wonder if it is just for the cliffhanger that the four look that surprised, upon coincidentally seeing each other. ^^; Will they go for a double date later on? It would be amusing if Nanoka is also there with (the other) Hinata..then, it will be a triple date. =P Just like what Anna observed, change doesnt easily happen so I guess there is a bit of awkwardness and stuff between Anna and Hinata. They seem to be semi-friends and lovers right now because things are sweet but not that lovey-dovey yet. But, kudos to Hinata for thinking of that idea on how they can sit and watch the fireworks together in a crowded area =P So, Hinata is indeed going to their school. I think he shouldnt have any difficulty getting in it if Anna got in there. =P Hopefully, they will be classmates, too ^^ If Anna is somewhat like Nanoka, I think Aya seems to be a bit like Hinata because they both can easily help others but tend to be keep to themselves, regarding things about themselves. So, Im thought that it would be like Sou is going to end up with a female version of Hinata. =P Hm..would Beni take this sitting down? Also, Nanoka is really sharp and she was trying to get Anna to invite Sou so that Aya would go with her to the fireworks display. If Sou seems to be moving on, Nanoka cant seem to let go of Aya yet. I wonder if the story will not be ending yet, would it be more on the friends who are out because their friends got lovers, and how they move on. Or, how childhood friends become more like lovers? Or, in the end, it is Anna with Sou? I guess well know where the author will go in the next few chapters. Hm..it seems that the author is going for reaping what you sow so Nanokas nightmare is going to happen. Would the same thing happen to Mari and those other senpai-s later on, if they are still going to appear in the series? Lastly, I wonder if

High school life will now start!! The three childhood friends had arrived at school. At the gate, the girls are quickly talking about them. Its Sou-kun! Today, he is also very handsome- Speaking of Sou-kun, who is that guy beside him!? Is there also such a handsome guy going in our school!? A girl exclaims that at is Hinata-kun, in Nishinaka, hes a famous guy like Sou. So, its true, the rumor about a new transfer student coming to our school!! If you re-read chapter 1, Hinata and Sous reactions are the same so Anna is saying that she wont react the same like before.] Anna is frowning when Sou is telling Hinata to throw those flirty glances. Flashing a v-sign, Hinata with closed eyes, says ya. While Sou is laughing, Anna punches him at the back and shouts that it is forbidden that only the two of them are having so much fun. Sou asks why he is the only one who suffers. He tells her if she wants to mingle with them then come forward and straightforwardly mingle with them for being jealous is such an ugly sight. Anna exclaims that isnt what she is feeling, and who does he think, is the cause of making her heart feel heavy in this new school term. Sou asks what she meant by that. Hinata tries to call for Anna but she already runs off to the school building. Narration: I, Hinata and Sou are neighbors living in the same building. We grew up together and it has been 16 years already. But, this year, it isnt the same. I and Hinata have started going steady. Before, every year, the three of us would always go together to see the fireworks display. This year only I and Hinata went together. Actually, it is fortunate that things develop up to this point..

At the schools corridor, Anna is catching her breath when Nanoka happily greets her a good morning. Aya, who is with Nanoka, turns around to look at Anna. Anna looks tense for on the way home from the fireworks display, she has seen it, Aya is with Sou. Flashback: Closing his flip phone, Sou said that he thought that Hinata is calling him from home but it turns out that hes behind him. He asked Hinata why he is calling him. Sou repeated the question since Anna and Hinata looked shock and are not answering. Hinata snapped out of it and told him that he passed the transfer school examination.. This made Sou really happy that he exclaims if that is true. While Aya is looking at him, Sou shouted that is really great, but then fundamentally, he knew that Hinata will definitely pass it. Anna is surprised that the person whom Aya had an appointment with [ahead of Nanoka], is Sou. The two of them.. Aya glanced at Anna and smiled. She told Anna that after hearing from Anna about the fireworks display, she also wanted to go there too. Anna exclaimed is that so. Aya said that it is quite surprising that even if there are many people there, they managed to bump into each other. Pointing away, Aya said that she is going to leave. This surprised Sou. She told him that isnt he going home together with Anna and the others, and her house is at the opposite way. Sou told her that he isnt going home right now because he just got there. Sou said that his work has just ended, and it is after that, when he came here. Even if Ive missed the fireworks display but in the end, I wanted to eat some yakisoba [stir-fried noodles] before going home. Hinata, you guys are going home right? Hinata said yes, they are going. As Sou said goodbye to them, Anna still looked surprised and saw Aya smiling. As Sou and Aya walk away, Anna thought, I have this feeling that it seems that I have seen something that I shouldnt have seen. End flashback. Looking at Aya and Nanoka, Anna thinks that this is quite awkward. Nanoka says that it is quite unexpected for he thought that Anna, with Hinata and others, the three of them, will most definitely come to school together so why is she alone by herself. Nanoka frowns and says, speaking of the devil.. The two guys are already at the corridor and had met up with them. Hinata is surprised to see Anna there while Sou asks how come she suddenly ran off. They were all surprised when Nanoka greets out loud, Good morning, Hinata-kun. After a brief surprise, Hinata greets her back.

Aya tensely tries to call Nanokas attention but Nanoka has already turned away and tells Aya that they should leave. While Hinata is still surprised over what just happened, Sou comments that just like before, that girl has no mercy [on him]. Looking at the two girls leaving, Anna says that it is because Nanoka hates him. Looking dark, Sou tells her not to say it so straight-forwardly. Anna tensely thinks that even if she thinks that there is a bit awkwardness and it would be better for a tsukkomi-way of asking directly at the person but the Aya that day, even if she was smiling while talking with her, she [Aya] doesnt plan on making her [Anna] intervene. I felt that it was that kind of mood at that time. Later on, in section 1-5, the teacher tells the students to return to their seats. Anna is sitting beside Hinata who just woke up from his sleep. Smiling Nanoka is sitting behind Anna. Anna thinks that she wants to discuss and ask Nanokas opinion but then, things might only worsen. The homeroom teacher introduces to them a new transfer student who will be a member of their class, Tokura-kun. Hinata just tells them his full name and says that hell be under their care[/yoroshiku]. Their classmates are clapping their hands and the girls are saying that Hinata is handsome. Sou somewhat smiles and thinks that Hinatas self-introduction is too short. The teacher tells Hinata to go sit at the last seat at the back. As Hinata goes to his seat, Nanoka whispers to Anna that this is great for she can be classmates with Hinata. Anna happily smiles over this for it seems inconceivable that Hinata is suddenly in her classroom and they are in the same class section. Looking at Hinata, Anna smiles and thinks that this is really great luck because they can see each other in class everyday. Hinata notices that Anna is looking at him. While resting his arms on the table, Hinata flashes a v-sign at her. Anna looks totally happy. [The word used there is healed so probably he healed Annas worrying thoughts about Aya.] Hinata looks on and wonders if that is the Hinata they are talking about, and it is simply like a development in a manga. The homeroom teacher says that they are now starting the class meeting. Even if the new school term has just started, but it is already cultural festival time. So, today, we need to choose two cultural festivals committee members! I will choose one of the members. *students groaning* The cultural festivals committee member that I choose is--.. Tokura Hinata-kun!!

Hinata looks surprised. Anna snaps out of her happy mood and also becomes surprised. The teacher explains that he wants Hinata to quickly blend in the class so he hopes that Hinata would be their class center point and they can all help in making an exciting cultural festival. Everyone, help Tokura-kun, okay! Nanoka tells Anna that the teacher is amazing, and he has that proud expression of I thought of a super amazing idea. Stealing a glance at Hinata, Anna wonders what he feels about this thing. Surely enough, Hinata looks totally aghast and looks like he really hates it. Anna thinks that is right, Hinata isnt good at standing in front and leading everyone to do something. Holding up his arm, the homeroom teacher asks if there is anyone who wants to recommend the other committee member. Anyone who can assist Tokura-kun-? Looking at her hand, Anna thinks that even if she also isnt that good at it.. Okay!!! Raising her arm, Anna stands up and shouts, Ill do it!! To Annas surprise, a lot of other girls are volunteering that they also want to be a committee member. The teacher exclaims that everyone is quite enthusiastic so the candidates go up front and they choose by jankenpon [rock-paper-scissors game]. Sou holds up his hand and tells the teacher that he thinks it would be better to make Koshiro-chan as the other committee member. The teacher asks Sou what is his reason for that. Sou tells him that those two are childhood friends and after just transferring to a new school, it would be better to work together, as a committee member, with someone whom one is familiar with. The teacher says is that so, then it is decided, it will be Koshiro-chan [wholl help Hinata]. Hinata and Anna look surprised over what Sou did. Sous seatmate in front tells Sou that hes so cool and Sou says not to look at him. Later on, after class, Sou and Anna stayed behind with Hinata. Sou[?] tells Hinata that he has just transferred and yet, he already quickly met up with annoying stuff. Hinata just groans. Sou happily tells Hinata that even if Yasumoto [guesswork name from ; the homeroom teacher] is annoying for having a bad habit of doing it up to this extent but then, it is a very good opportunity. Sou advises Hinata to just casually do his best [/gambatte] about it. Hinata sighs and says yes. Anna exclaims to Hinata that they do their best together. Hinata tells them that he was told that today is the meeting for the drawing of lots to decide if their class will do the stage performance or classroom activity. For the stage performance, it could be a short play

or a singing chorus. For the classroom activity, it can be maid cafe or haunted house. I dont know which kind everyone would like?

With totally sparkling eyes, Sou excitedly says that hell definitely choose short play. Posing with an imaginary katana, Sou exclaims, I heard that last year, there is a class that did an action play for the stage performance!! Isnt it totally amazing?! It looks really fun, right!? Ah- I really want to do that!! Hinata tells Anna that Sou is currently addicted to a Sengoku Musou-type of game. [Sengoku Musou is Samurai Warriors in English. It is the first title in the series of hack and slash video games created by Koei's Omega Force team based loosely around the Sengoku ("Warring States") period of Japanese history. Source: wiki.] Anna lamely says, ah-- Before Hinata and Anna go out to the meeting, Sou happily tells them that they should definitely get the stage performance. While walking at the hallway, Anna says that even if Sou said that, but in the end, it is drawing lots. Since it is only Sous opinion so, it will be alright even if we dont get the stage performance right? Hinata agrees and says class activity should be more popular. Then, Hinata tells Anna to be responsible in drawing the lot. Anna nervously exclaims, Me?! Isnt that such a heavy responsibility.. At the multipurpose room, they see Aya inside. Smiling Aya asks if they volunteer together to be committee members. Really sweet-- Laughing it off, Anna says that no, the teacher chose Hinata for him to quickly blend in the class and she volunteered. Aya says is that so. Anna thinks that she didnt expect that Aya will also be a committee member. Hinata says that there are others who volunteered to become a committee member but Sou recommended Anna. Sou is really so nice. Anna is getting nervous-surprised over what Hinata said. The teacher comes in and says that the meeting is going to start. He tells them that each class representative will go in front to draw a lot. Write the result on the blackboard and later, go back to your seat.

Lining up with the others with Aya behind her, Anna wonders whats up with Hinata that he would even mention Sous name. Arent you a person who can read the words and mood to know what someone is thinking!? Isnt this going to make the mood more awkward-!!! *nervous* Can I ask her directly? Anna is surprised when Aya says that it seems Hinata hates her. Anna asks, what that is all of a sudden, how he can hate her. Its impossible! And speaking of that, you guys just met.. Aya says that they havent just met because during junior high, she has seen Hinata a lot of times. Anna remembers that is right, Sou and Aya already went steady during junior high. Anna couldnt answer. Aya thanks Anna for not telling Nanoka about the fireworks display incident. Anna says yes because she thinks that if she tells Nanoka, things will definitely become troublesome since Nanoka is extremely fond of Aya and she will be jealous. Smiling Aya says thats right. Nervous Anna tells Aya that she still feels that if Aya herself tells Nanoka, she will.. To Annas surprise, Aya says, Yes.. but talking about it with Nanoka, she will still not understand. I have already given up on it. *looking away* Actually, I really regret breaking up with Sou. I felt at that time, even if it is exhausting, I should have strived harder. *Flashback on Anna telling Nanoka and Aya that Sou wanted to keep some distance between them.* So, Ive decided that if there is one more chance, this time around, I will absolutely not miss it. So, I absolutely wont let any obstacles hinder me. Even if it is Nanoka. *looking at Anna* ..or anyone else. The teacher shouts for the next one to come in front to draw a lot. Turning around, Anna apologizes and walks in front. Aya intently looks[/glares] at Anna. While drawing a lot from the box, Anna thinks, I didnt know that Ayane always still likes Sou up to now. I didnt know whether I have always been hindering her. Anna opens the paper and it is for stage performance. The teacher announces that class 1-5 gets stage performance. He tells Anna to write the result on the blackboard. Anna continues to look at the paper and starts to feel anxious.

Based on how the chapter started, it does seem like this is the second season with the three repeating the things that happened in the first chapter but of course, there are some differences. It is observed that it seems that Hinata and Anna arent that romantic with each other. I dont know if the author is going for things dont change overnight with friends becoming lovers, or it is the she isnt really in love right now and shes fickle..going for her 4th boyfriend type of scenario. The authors last series, Chocolate Cosmos ended with the couple being together and the other guy giving up so, I dont know if the author has written other series that has gone beyond that which is for them to go steady and if it is really romantic at once after going steady. Are they still too shy about being romantic or cannot easily show it? I wonder how those girls will react when they learn that Anna is Hinatas girlfriend. But then, in consideration to Sou, I dont think they ought to do something lovey-dovey in front of him. What Sou did for them is really nice to help work together for the cultural festival is really nice. Awfully nice of Sou and no wonder Hinata really treasures him as a friend to the point of sacrificing his own happiness. I think Hinata shouldnt worry too much about the committee work because not only Anna, he got Sou to help him out. ^-^ Anyway, with Mari out of the way, I wonder if Aya is the new Mari of this second season. From before, it does seem that Aya is a too ordinary type of nice girl but now, it seems that she has a dark side. Her words in the last part are indeed quite worrisome. Was that a threat or a warning? Of course, getting the vote that Sou wanted can make him owe Anna which I think is one reason for her to be anxious and be really perceived as a hindrance. It makes me wonder up to what extend is Aya going to make obstacles stop hindering her from getting Sou. Obviously, she is choosing love over everything else even friends. It makes me kind of feel sorry for Nanoka who is really possessive and fond of Aya. I think it will really hurt Nanoka that Anna now knows something more about Aya than she does. Interestingly, it does seem that Aya has a tendency to easily give up on something and regret it later on. It happened with Sou, and I think it will happen again with Nanoka. I guess the reason why Anna is so shock is because of how Aya casually said that she gave up on explaining things to Nanoka to maker he understand. Annas expression isnt shown when Aya implied that Nanoka and she [Anna] are hindrances. For Anna who is always thinking of friends forever with her childhood friends and feeling uneasy when they are apart,

Im sure she is shock by that, and probably had a delayed reaction to it. ^^; Now, I wonder if Aya is a fake friend or is a possible frenemy towards Anna. Did she get close to Anna just to get close to Sou? Did she help Anna with Hinata to ensure that Sou will be all hers for the taking? I guess it depends if Aya is the type who is bad but pretends to be nice and everything the type who is friend but can backstab you when needed. Or, is she like this because of jealousy? Sou hinted on jealous being an ugly sight in the first part of the chapter so I thought maybe that is applicable to Aya. Still, we dont know what Sou really feels about Aya. During the fireworks display, he seems more interested in eating but is gentleman enough to accompany Aya since he is there with her. Now, I dont know if Hinata does hate Aya as she claims, but if it is true, that is the same reaction Sou had with Mari. If so, does Hinata also get some bad vibes from Aya or it is something else like knowing her true nature? Maybe that is why Hinata is quite shock to see Sou with Aya. As childhood friends, I guess Hinata and Sou would closely scrutinize any girls/women who are getting too close to any of them. So, I think Aya should think of Hinata as a more possible obstacle than Anna or Nanoka are, especially since Hinata and Sou are super close. Strangely enough, I think Sou is at his happiest and true self when hes with Hinata. =P Or maybe, that is what Aya is thinking that is why she is saying those things to Anna who would probably pre-occupy Hinata until she gets Sou. Anyway, these are all assumptions for now since Aya has not yet done anything bad yet but that last look she threw at Anna isnt really reassuring. Well, it seems that Anna has good instincts to notice that there is something behind smiling Aya. So, what is she going to do now? Will she talk it with Hinata, Nanoka or Hinata? Either Hinata or Sou ought to notice quickly that something is bothering Anna since she should be happy that she got what Sou wanted. Since Aya is closing herself up from Nanoka, I think it wont be long when Nanoka starts to hang up with someone else..either Anna or Hinata? If Aya really wants Sou, she would have to more or less accept that Anna is special aka childhood friend. Sous ex-girlfriend in the first chapter doesnt want that and she got dumped. ^^; But then, that was before and maybe things are different now. Lastly, Im quite excited over their play for the cultural festival. I think that is rare for most of the time, I read maid cafe and haunted houses for cultural festival. Those five would make the play interesting. If it is a fighting/swordplay like Sou wanted, I think Hinata can write the script and help Sou live out his anime/game dream. ^-^ Hinata can probably make the props and an awesome background painting. ^^ Hehe, Im still hoping for the two HINATA-s to formally meet each other. I like the setting that Sou wanted and I wonder what the story will be about samurai saving damel-in-distress? ^-^ Just like Sou, I think it will be quite fun. Scans by allwink.

Narration: I totally didnt know that Ayane-chan thinks that way. Riding on the train, Hinata asks Anna what did Aso-chan tell her awhile ago. Anna looks at him in surprise and says that there are times when she wonders if he has a super power. Hinata tells her that while waiting for the drawing of lots, he would occasionally see the two of them talking and their voices are unexpectedly quite loud. Anna is aghast-surprised by this. Hinata says that even if he wasnt able to hear all of it, he can roughly know the situation. Surprised Anna says is that so. Anna thinks that maybe if she talked about this with Hinata, she can calm down a bit. Even if I dont quite understand the reason as to why my heart indescribably hurts as it beats. This feeling.. Anna tells Hinata that didnt they met up with Ayane-chan and Sou at the fireworks display. Afterwards, Ayane-chan told me, Thank you for not telling this to Nanoka. Puzzled Hinata asks why she is being thanked. Anna explains that Nanoka is Ayane-chans childhood playmate and she is very much infatuated with Ayane-chan. Afterwards, she is particularly hostile Sou who used to go steady with Ayane-chan. She has been so hostile towards him that upon entering this school, it caused a huge uproar!! Hinata says is that so, and thats amazing. Anna continues to tell him that so, it appears that Ayane-chan has no plans of telling Nanoka about Sou. And she would even say, Even if I tell Nanoka, she also wont understand. And I dont want to be bothered[/hindered] by her Isnt that.. *remembers Ayanes expression when she said that and how she looked at her* That.. Ah, but!? Before, Nanoka told me, Aya-chan might already have a boyfriend- (sob) So, it is also very hard to pretend that I dont know.. But, I also cant tell her. What is the best thing that I should do. Hinata tells her that before wondering whether to tell her [Nanoka] or not, he thinks that basically she [Ayane] doesnt have a boyfriend yet. Did Aso-chan say when she started going steady with Sou? Anna says, ah, she didnt clearly tell her. Hinata says then that definitely means that the two has not yet gone steady. It is purely Aso-chan likes to be clingy[/involved with] Sou. *Anna sweatdrops over Hinatas choice of words.* Even if it is difficult that you are being sandwiched between those two, but I think that this is inevitable [/cant do anything about it]. And this is a problem between Aso-chan and Saeki-chan.

Anna mutters that is right. She thinkss the way Ayane said things is a bit mean but then, Nanoka said those kind of mean things, too. She remembers Nanoka shouting at Sou that hes an idiot and Poophead Nagase shouldnt come close to her Aya-chan. Anna wonders if this is a problem wherein she cant be of help, no matter what she does. After they got out of the train, Anna tells Hinata that there is a photography club meeting tomorrow after school, so it is also okay if Hinata goes home first. Hinata says okay. Then, he asks if Suzui and the others are also in the photography club. Anna says that she doesnt know when, but Hime and Rui had quit the club. Hinata laughs over this. Anna smiles and thinks that pain that has coiled around her heart is gone. Its really great that Ive talked [about this] with Hinata. The next day, while Hinata writes on the blackboard, Anna says that their class will do a stage performance on the cultural festival day. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of play[/show] we will do? Someone raises his hand and says, Yes. Sparkling Sou says, Action play. Let us perform a 13 Assassins* type of play. With blood coming out from the floor!!! [*That is a samurai epic movie. Check out wiki if you want to know the story.] Anna says okay, then shell put it as a period play but the blood thing is impossible. The girls imagine Sou as a samurai and they really like the idea because Sou would look handsome in a kimono. To Sous surprise, Tokiwa says, I suggest that we make Sou-kun act as a prince in a Snow White play- Sou angrily shouts at Tokiwa for being a scoundrel-idiot for who would act as some kind of prince. The girls are excited over this because Princess Snow White will get a kiss from the prince and who would be Snow White. Then, someone says that if they think about it carefully, it will just be a fake kiss. Another girl says who cares, she still wants a fake kiss. Nanoka looks totally aghast over the reaction of the other girls. Hinata thinks that Sou is really popular. Sweatdrop-smiling Anna asks if there are any other proposals. Nanoka raises up her hand and says that their class dont have any drama club members so she thinks that even if they seriously act, it wont turn out well. Anna and the others are speechlessly over that. Hinata tells Nanoka to be a bit mindful of the situation [/read the mood] for it has already been decided that they are going to do a play. Nanoka continues to say, Please dont misunderstand! Nanoka really approves of acting out Snow White and having Nagase-kun who is popular among the girls to become the lead in the play! Somewhat scowling Sou doesnt look

pleased over that. Tokiwa thinks Nanoka is interesting. Looking a bit dark, Nanoka smiles and says, But! I think we should put in some comedy.

At the photography club, Chiaki exclaims, A reversed gender play? While Anna looks at her, Nanoka happily says that the girls will dress up as guys and perform the male roles while boys will dress up as girls and perform the female roles Chiaki says that is quite interesting. With a dark look, Nanoka says, Princess Snow White will definitely be Nagase-kun. Dressed up in a disgusting female outfit, appearing in front of the whole school, it would be good if he is made into a laughingstock. Fufufufu.. Anna says no, the roles has not yet been decided. Speaking of that- it is because you are quite hostile with Sou [/treating him like an enemy] that is why Ayane-chan.. Nanoka looks at her and asks what about Ayane-chan. Anna freaks out over her slip of the tongue. Grabbing Annas arms, Nanoka exclaims why she would mention Ayas name along with Nagases. Could it be that those two are indeed going steady!? Anna, did you hear that from Aya-chan!? Looking away, Anna denies it and says that she didnt hear it from her. Nanoka lets Anna go and says, is that so. Anna looks really uneasy and wonders if she shouldnt have lied. Interested Chiaki asks what it is, does Aso-chan has a boyfriend. Nanoka says that it is basically just her guessing if Aya has a boyfriend or not, and she hasnt heard of it from Aya. Chiaki asks why she doesnt ask Aya herself. Nanoka says that she wont go and ask for it has no meaning if she just forces Aya to say it. Chikai comments that Nanoka is really sensible[/thoughtful]. Anna looks really tense. Nanoka angrily says that even if there are times when she cant read the mood but that doesnt mean that she doesnt know how to read the mood. Even if Nanoka really likes Aya-chan, Nanoka also knows that Aya-chan doesnt plan on letting Nanoka pry in too deeply in her business[/domain]. If [I] force her to say it, there is a possibility that shell sever ties with Nanoka. ..that way, Ill be more hated. *Anna looks surprised by that* Speaking of that, Aya-chan is so slow. Even if she said that she is in cleaning duty.. Then, Aya arrives and apologizes for being late because cleaning up took quite some time. Nanoka happily calls out her name.

Chiaki says that everyone is present so they are now going to start the meeting regarding the cultural festival. Nanoka asks if the photography club is also going to do something. Aya asks if she didnt know, but she [Aya] has a proposal. Chiaki says that is very good, so what is it. Aya says that it is a purikura [/photo sticker booth] wherein theyll take pictures of the visitors then print them into stickers. Chiaki and Nanoka are delighted over this proposal and say that shes really amazing. Aya says that it is fun to have a purikura in school. Nanoka tells her that they take a picture together. Anna just looks at the two and thinks that no wonder its Nanoka, it is pretty like what she thinks of Ayane-chan. She also understands Ayane-chan very, very much. But of course, because ever since they were young, theyve always been together.. Later on, after the club meeting, Nanoka laments over not being able to go home together with Aya. Aya says that it is because she is a committee member so she has to go back to class to work especially since the display[/activity] will be in their classroom. Nanoka whines that she still doesnt have any work to do. Anna sheepishly smiles and says that it is because she forgot to hand over the topic. So, Nanoka waves goodbye and says that shell see them tomorrow. While walking together with Anna, Aya laughs and says that Nanoka really hasnt change a bit since from the start and perhaps shell change if she has a boyfriend. Looking serious-sad, Anna stops walking and calls out to her. About that thing with Sou.. why dont you talk about it with Nanoka? Although youve said that even if I tell Nanoka, she will still not understand, of course I also know the meaning of what youve said. *holds head* But, I think that if you can properly talk about it with Nanoka, shell definitely understand you. How could you say something like giving up when you guys are childhood friends and you were always together, right? *Aya has a blank expression* It will be such a waste if you dont properly treasure it..

Aya breaks into a smile and says, ..Haha Youre really troublesome, Anna-chan. Just because I didnt tell her the secret, it doesnt mean that I dont care about Nanoka, okay? Its only just a little bit of maintaining distance from Nanoka so that we can smoothly have a relationship[/friendship]. Even if we started to be together ever since we were young, we would still meet a lot of new people while we are growing up. Establishing relationships and there are so many things that will bring about change. In return, there will be a distance between childhood friends which I think is a very natural thing. Being bonded[/restricted] by it can actually be quite painful. Sou definitely also think that way. Anna looks at her in surprise and asks, huh, Sou? Aya says, ..dont you know? Aya starts saying something which surprises Anna. Sitting on the floor by the shoe lockers, Hinata calls out to Anna and greets her good job. I thought that youll be a bit late but you were unexpectedly early. Surprised Anna exclaims, Hinata!? Ah, could it be that you were waiting for me!? Hinata says, To be told, you go home first, a mans heart would want to continue on waiting.. Then, the next question is, *sparkles* if Im told, wait for me, what do you think Ill do? This made Anna tense and says that it such a sudden question. Ah That.. Im going home first? Hinata says, Wrong-- No matter what youll say, Ill wait for you *v-sign* Anna is speechless then she says, Thank you. As Hinata stands up, Anna says, Geez- whats up with that question? Hinata tells her, Its because Im very worried. *looks at her* Im worried of whether or not that person would tell something to you again-- Hinata looks surprised when Anna says, ...it appeared again. *covers eyes* Hinatas super power. How come you knew? Flashback: Aya told Anna, ..Dont you know? If you normally think about it about you and Hinata.. If the person one previously likes is going steady with ones intimate friend, it is impossible for that person to feel happy with them, right? But, to be bonded by this frame of childhood friends that he has to be together [with you guys], Sou ought to be quite pitiful, right? Comforting her, Hinata hugs Anna and says, ..How come [I know]? Its pretty much because I like you, right? Hinata holds her face and kisses her. Looking at him, Anna somewhat smiles and says, Thank you.

Sigh.. Sous samurai fighting play got replaced to a typical fairy tale play. It is quite odd though that Tokiwa would suggest it. Is he teasing Sou? Oh well..I guess it is because Snow White can progress the plot further rather than a samurai play but it would be fun though. Maybe there will be some sort of swordfight to make Sou happy. For amusement, Im hoping for Hinata and Nanoka to be the lead characters of the play. For irony, Im hoping for Sou and Nanoka for leads. =P Im not quite sure if Anna and Hinata will be in it because they would be like the directors. Hehe, but then, they are already getting lovey-dovey action behind the scenes. ^^ Im really amazed at how the author somewhat makes me feel like what Anna is feeling. Before, it is apprehension though it is more on the possibility of her being fickle rather than being bothered by what Aya said. Now, it is at ease because Hinata pretty much showed his stuff here and it reminded me why I liked him for Anna before. I do wonder though if Hinata just knows what Aya is capable of and she would most likely say things to Anna or, he knows that Anna would try to help with the things between Aya and Nanoka hence, Aya would most likely give her a tongue-lashing. I somewhat think that it is the latter one because the emphasis is Hinata knows Anna really well that even if he suggested that she doesnt interfere with those twos problem, Anna would still want to help. I guess it is somewhat her nature to do that because from the start, she puts a very high priority with friends over love. Of course, it is different with Aya who can sever friendships if the person is presumed to be hindering with ones love life. Aya really knows how to use her opportunities to her advantage and she can be a bit subtle about it. What Anna is telling her is obviously not that related to Sou but Aya managed to make Anna go on some sort of guilt trip in a subtle way of making her and Hinata back off from Sou. Aya does has a point though Im thinking that she is saying those things not really because she feels sorry for Sou but rather, because she wants the two to break off their childhood friend bonds with Sou. Regarding Annas reaction, I guess she is really sad about being told that wanting to be friends forever with Sou, is hurting poor Sou..and that is probably the last thing she wants to happen. Even if it does seem to be already resolved, I wonder though if Sou is indeed feeling what Aya presumed that he is feeling when hes with the other two. If it is, Sou is pretty good at hiding it because I got the impression things are

already okay with the three of them. What Aya said can also be a bit risky because if Hinata and Anna talked about this with Sou..wont it be game over for Aya? Well, that probably depends on Sous reaction. Anyway, after this, Im curious over how Anna would react with them later on. She doesnt seem to be good in hiding things and if Nanoka is only really observant, she would have easily known that Anna is hiding something. Well, even if she knew, it seems that Nanoka still wants to know about it from Ayas own mouth. After that encounter, would Anna let those two be or will she continue to intervene even if shell end up hurt again? Lastly, I wonder if Hinata can still join the photography club or the application is over, and he is a new transfer student.
