20. yzylda insanln kullanmna giren, Trkiyede ve dnyadaki nemi gittike artan polimerik kompozit malzemeler retimi ve kullanm her eit sanayide ve yaamda geni uygulama alan bulan, gelecei de ekillendirecek teknolojik malzemelerdir. Srekli gelimekte olan bu alanda bilginin paylalmas, uygulamaya aktarlmas ve karlalan sorunlarn tartlmas ilerleme iin gerekliliktir. Bu amala bilimsel ve teknik etkinliklerin yaplmas zorunludur. Bu nedenle Kimya Mhendisleri Odas, kendi ilgi alan ierisinde de olan bu tr etkinlii Ege Blge ubesi koordinasyonuyla ilgili sanayici ve bilim evrelerinin katlm ve katklar salanarak iki ylda bir (genelde Kasm aynda), ilki 2006 ylnda ulusal dzeyde I. Polimerik Kompozitler Sempozyum ve Sergisi olarak sonrasnda 2008 ylnda Uluslararas Katlml Polimerik Kompozitler Sempozyum Sergi ve altaylar ad altnda, son olarak da II. Uluslararas Katlml Polimerik Kompozitler Sempozyum Sergi ve Proje Pazar olarak 2010 ylnda dzenlemitir. Bu yl 4.s dzenlenecek olan sempozyum III. Uluslararas Polimerik Kompozitler Sempozyumu ve Sergisi adyla 7-9 Kasm 2012 tarihlerinde zmir Tepekule Kongre ve Sergi Merkezinde gerekletirilecektir. Bu etkinlikte, hzla gelien bir sektr olmas nedeniyle sempozyuma paralel olarak dzenlenecek Proje Pazar; teknoloji transferlerinin gerekletirilmesi ve yeni ticari ortaklklar kurulmas ile bu alana yeni bir boyut kazandrmas amalanmaktadr. Sempozyum sergi ve proje pazarnn ana temas Dnyada ve lkemizde Polimerik Kompozit Sektrnn Bugnk Durumu ile Gelecee Ynelik neriler ve Srdrlebilirlik olarak belirlenmitir. Konunun nemini ve gerekliliini vurgulayarak katklarn ve bilgi birikimlerini esirgemeyen ilgili tm kurum ve kurulular ve kiileri bu etkinlikleri birliktelikle daha gl ve baarl klmak iin davet ediyoruz.

OBJECTIVE & SCOPE

Polymeric composite materials have been in use by humankind since the 20th. century with their expanding production and application fields in various industries and daily use not only in Turkey but all around the world. Polymeric composite materials are the technological materials that will be shaping the future as well. Sharing of information, relaying the gathered information into practice and discussing the problems encountered is of crucial importance for improvements in this field. However it is also obligatory to carry out scientific and technical activities for this purpose. For this reason, with the coordination of the Aegean Region branch Chamber of Chemical Engineers has been organizing Symposia every two years (in general November), since 2006, involving the participation of respective industrialists and academia. In 2006, 'I. Polymeric Composites Symposium and Exhibition' has been carried out on a national level, in 2008 Poyimeric Composites Symposium, Exhibition and Workshops (International Participation) have been organized. In November 26-28, 2010, Polymeric Composites Symposium Exhibition Brokerage Event' (International Participant)will be carried out at Tepekule Congress and Exhibition Center. In this activity, because polymeric composite materials is a fast growing sector, in addition to informing the people in the application side of the field, it was aimed to contribute to the formation of new commercial collaborations and technology transfer by carrying out a Brokerage Event about the sector. The main theme of the Symposium, the Exhibition and the Brokerage event has been set as The Current State of Polymeric Composite Sector in the World and in Turkey and Suggestions for the Future and Sustainability. By stressing the importance and necessity of the field, we invite all the respective institutions and entities to contribute to the success and power of the event.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACT OF PRESENTATION

Abstracts should be comprehensible in detail with no more than two pages and no less than 400 words in English or Turkish (Turkish abstracts should also include English translation) and must be sent until 18 May 2012 to the congress Secretariat via kompozitege2012@gmail.com The abstracts must contain the following sub titles with minimum three keywords: Scope, Material-Method, Discussion and Recommendations Abstracts must be typed on A4 page leaving 5 cm margins on top and bottom sides and 4 cm left and right sides, written in a PC compatible computer with MS Word using Times New Roman 12 font size with single spacing. Title of abstract should be centered and written with bold letters. Leaving a space beneath the title, authors' names should be written again followed by a space and institution addresses and e-mail addresses must be written by one under the other. Name of author who would submit the presentation must be underlined. Abstract text should be started after leaving two blank lines from the address line.
