WRITING PROCESS

It consists of a series of steps that are followed to write a text. The


it is more normal and more frequent for a text to be written,
correcting, reviewing, and rewriting. Writers carry out the
next steps:

Activities that are carried out for:


-Search for a topic
-Choose a type of text
-Produce ideas
-Obtain information
-Specify the audience.

2. THE DRAFT:
TEXTUALIZATION.

In this stage, the parts of a


scheme. There's no need to worry at this phase about the
spelling, punctuation, the exact or appropriate word. It is
better to let ideas flow whose expression will be corrected or
it will improve over time.
3. REVIEW

It aims to look again at what has been written to


improve it. In this step, one:
-Analyze the content
-The mistakes are corrected.
-What is not appropriate is omitted.
-Some parts are reorganized so that the meaning is
clearer or more interesting.
4. CORRECTION/
EDITING
The following is verified:
Spelling, capitalization and punctuation
Sentences: variety.
That there are no repetitions.
Errors in verb tense and agreement between
nouns and pronouns
Information that may be missing.
5. PUBLICATION/
SHARE

The final clean and well-presented copy constitutes the product.

It is a rhetorical figure that consists of the addition or adding to an expression.

It is the unnecessary or useless repetition of a concept. It is the excess of


words. It is usually used in colloquial language.

Example:

- Start again
- My only love, my support, my comfort
- Today Mistura 2012 started.
- Tell Enrique to go upstairs. (Tell Enrique to come up)
- A pack of dogs chased us. (We were chased by a pack)
- He had a terrible hemorrhage of blood.

3. FILLERS

It's a verbal tic in the conversation.


They are words: some people use them to lean on,
when they are talking.
In many cases they are: incoherent.
However: they are used to avoid gaps in everyday conversations.
Denotes: lack of clarity in what is meant.

Example:
-Well
-I mean
-Since...
-Mmmmm
-Of course, I told you.
-Thissssss

4. Queísmo

a) Abuse of the word that.


b) It is the omission of a preposition, especially when it precedes 'a queen.'

Example:

I want you to tell your mom that if she doesn't come to see what behavior you have,
I warned him not to think that we would give him the letter for good.
They are going to ask for a conduct certificate for you to enter secondary school.

I'm glad you're leaving (Instead of: I'm gladyou're leaving).

It is an incorrectness that consists of pronouncing or writing words incorrectly, or in


to use improper words.

6. CACOPHONY

It is the unpleasant sound effect produced by proximity of


sounds or syllables that have the same pronunciation within a
word or in similar words in the speech.

Examples:

The whales fill the wonderful sea


I went to knead at home and Irma was there
He who eats little coconut, buys little coconut.
They eat wheat from a glass plate.
Only like a crazy bad person
My body collapses almost dead
That gray cat is bad or horrible.
I serve you tea while you get dressed
Bring me the tripod while I work downstairs.
