4.1 Feeding (5, 6, 7)
The circuit has been designed to operate with a supply voltage of 230 V AC (+10%, -15%, 50 or 60 Hz).
The VF7 Relay incorporates a slow start system to control the charge of the 'bulk' capacitors and prevent short circuits.
Note: It is important that the door operator module has a good ground connection.
9. 12 Volts
12-volt isolated output available for door control through the voltage-free contacts.
To take into account:
a) This feed must be used exclusively for this purpose.
This contact must be isolated from any other power source.
10. Common
It is the reference used for the signals to open and close.
11. 0 Volts
It is the opposite pole of the 12 V. In the case of using the internal voltage, this pin should be connected to the common (10).
21.- Reopen
This signal is used by the cabin door contact, by an external barrier, or by other devices. To activate this signal it must be
connect the reopen input (21) with the +12 V output (23). Use volt-free contacts. The reopen signal takes precedence over the signal.
to close.
• Open
LED indicator and relay activated when the door is fully open.
• Closed
LED indicator and relay activated when the door is completely closed and
enclaved.
• Reopen
LED indicator and relay activated when the reopen input is activated.
• Obstruction
LED indicator and relay activated when an obstacle is detected during closing. The
The signal will reset when the door reaches the open or closed position.
• Barrier failure
LED indicator and relay activated when a failure occurs in the photoelectric barrier.
• Over-temperature
LED indicator and relay activated when the temperature of the VF7 Relay module or the motor exceeds the safety limit. When this output
the maneuver is activated, you must give the order to the cabin to go to the next floor, open the door to let the passengers out, and stop applying
tension to the engine.
• OK Status
A blinking green LED indicates that the module is functioning correctly. If an alarm occurs, the LED
it will change to red.
This process must be carried out without the landing door attached.
The door will perform several movements to detect free passage. Once the learning process is complete, the parameters will be
stored in non-volatile EEPROM memory.
Learning process of the door with the motor calibration not completed:
The door closes slowly until it reaches the fully closed position (position 0).
2. La puerta se abre lentamente contando los pulsos del encoder hasta que alcanza la posición de puerta abierta.
It is necessary to manually unlock the locking mechanism at the beginning of the opening movement.
The door closes at normal speed after a brief delay.
If the last movement is not a closing, it is necessary to change the direction of rotation and restart the door learning process.
Note: With the options "Bypass connected to the circuit" and "Change direction via Bypass" enabled, the VF circuit automatically corrects the direction of
rotation in case it is programmed incorrectly. If the direction of rotation is programmed incorrectly, the VF begins the learning of the
door with an opening movement and, once the door reaches the open position, the direction of rotation is automatically changed and is
restart the learning process of the door.
The software V7.01.08-01 is not compatible with the Fermator asynchronous motor.
The power switch of the VF7+ Relay must be turned off before disconnecting the power connector.

5 Graphic interface
The main objectives that can be achieved with the graphical interface are:
1. Detect possible alarms or errors in the unit (Alarm Menu).
2. Observe the values of the parameters and the active signals (Monitor Menu).
3. Modify the internal parameters and options (Programming Menu).
4. Modify the configuration of the VF7+ Relay (Settings Menu).
Once the unit is connected, the Fermator software version V7.01.08-01 will be displayed.
There are four main menus with different submenus: Alarm Menu, Monitor Menu, Programming Menu, and Configuration Menu.
The alarm history shows the last ten alarms activated in the unit.
While an alarm is activated, the VF7+ Relay graphical interface will display the alarm that is currently active.
When the alarm is deactivated, the VF7+ Relay will return to the screen prior to the alarm's appearance.

The circuit will start the guide menu. A basic configuration is always necessary to ensure compliance with standard EN81-
20/50.
4. Door Test.
• Execute the Test action to open the door and verify the correct movement. Execute the test again to close the door.
If the circuit has already been installed, only the following steps need to be taken:
1. Connections:
• Connect the motor and encoder wires (#55, #56, #57, #58, #59).
• Disconnect all other inputs and outputs.
• If the Bypass contact has been installed on the VF7+ Relay, connect the Bypass wire (#23, #24).
• Connect the main power supply of 230V AC to the controller (#5, #6, #7).
2. Turn on the VF7+ Relay module, O/I button located on the front of the box.
3. Activate the 'Learning' option on the door to start the learning cycle. Go to Menu Actions → Learning in the interface.
VF7+ Relay graph. This process must be done without the landing door attached.
4. Test de Puerta.
• Execute the Test action to open the door and verify the correct movement. Run the test again to close the door.
7 Feeding Errors
The VF7+ Relay incorporates two new safety systems related to power failures:
• Anti-banging systemWhen a power failure occurs while the door is opening, closing, or in position
open door, the new anti-banging system slows down the PM motor for a slow closing to prevent the door from slamming shut.
• Electronic CDL When a power failure occurs while the door is fully closed, the VF7+ Relay detects the drop of
voltage and opens the mechanical interlock if the cabin is on the floor. The Electronic CDL system can be enabled or disabled by
software.
Note: After the food supply is restored and the signal to open is received, the door will open slowly at the first.
operation to recognize the free passage.
To comply with the regulations, it is necessary to configure some options and parameters:

1. The accessible connections and the parts listed below are of insulation class 0. This means that the
The protection of these circuits is based solely on basic insulation and becomes dangerous in the case
due to a failure of basic insulation. Therefore, devices connected to these circuits must provide
protection against electric shock, as if the device were connected to the main power supply.
Additionally, during installation, these parts must be considered in relation to the electro-sho-
cks, such as main sources of tension.
